Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley ruled out the possibility of serving as vice president in comments to New Hampshire voters on Friday, amid speculation that former president Donald Trump might tap Haley to balance out his ticket if her own presidential ambitions don’t pan out.
“I’ve said from the very beginning: I don’t play for second. I don’t want to be anybody’s vice president. That is off the table,” Haley told diners at a restaurant in Amherst, New Hampshire, according to a Politico reporter who overheard the comments.
The former U.N. ambassador’s presidential campaign has been dogged in recent weeks by questions about her willingness to serve

She doesn’t play for second? When has she won? So tired of her tough girl act. It’s silly.

Then she can probably kiss her fanny good-bye in '24 and beyond. She'll become even less 'relevant' the farther she goes along.

It simply isn't possible for anyone to be more arrogant and delusional than Nikki.

Can't exactly be up her sleeve and on the table at the same time, so her statement doesn't exactly rule out accepting a VP nomination.

The Rino's and their publications were foaming at the mouth that Haley would become a VP candidate if not Pres. Guess both hopes have hit the rocks. Not that either had a snowvball's chance in hell of either.

Not that she was on the list but no one ever says they would be a VP while they are still running for the top job.

Aw Gee, that's a shame.
What is Liz Cheney's position on being Trump's VP.? She's a conservative hating warmonger too.
Or maybe E.Jean Carroll or Stormy Daniels would like the job, since almost everyone demands that the VP be a woman.

All she has done is stab her benefactor Sarah Palin in back and go RINO. How can a person who refuses to say a man cannot become woman realistically seek the Republican nomination?

Haley will never win the general election in November, the Democrats know that and is why so many Democrats have been changing over to vote for Haley during the Republican primary caucuses and elections. The Republicans are stupid for allowing that to happen, essentially allowing the Democrats to sabotage the Republican primary process.

Nik, Nik, Nik.....what "table" do you mean exactly? We're pretty certain nothing was ever on it in any case. So my dear, you really do have nothing to worry about. That is unless you were secretly wishing there was something on that table.....

Ask her again after New Hampshire, the answer may be different. Without a VP offer, her only choice is obscurity or possibly ambassador to Palestine.

Nice try, Nimrata. You won’t be VP because Trump doesn’t want you, not because you decided to turn down an offer. I think we all know you’d sell your soul for a VP slot.

@#18 - The Republicans allow Dems to vote in their primaries because they want the Dems to choose their candidate. The GOP do not want to win. They are comfortable losing as long as Trump is out of the picture. It's no secret when the GOP are in charge, they do nothing about anything and always acquiesce to the Dems. Even when they are in first place they are in second place.

her recent statements, regarding our President, would automatically eliminate her from any position either in his Cabinet or in the RNC organization
- we don't need another romeny mcdaniel to deal with
- she's burned her bridge(s) so kiss her "good-bye" and
- send her back to SC to tend her flower garden and
- retire from politics
