Do they realize how foolish they appear? For some reason they believe they are being brave and noble. America, the USS Titanic in disguise, is circling the bowl. We need them to get a Speaker installed and get on with the business at hand. They are going to start to lose their supporters and voters if this continues. Most of us have siblings or children and remember what it was like to be in Middle School. They are acting like hormonal cheerleaders on their periods all at the same time. This is not Middle School, this is serious business so act like adults and get on with it. This was chaos that did not need to happen. They went in with guns blazing with no plan and the only impression they have left is they pretty much stink. I am disheartened by FJB and this Clown Car Administration and the dems who are still singing his praises even though they know he is demented. There is more than one kind of dementia. FJB has one and it appears the Republicans have another.

There are factions within the party of stupid. One faction took out McCarthy, and now his faction wants payback. The Dems are happily munching on their popcorn, and Joe's incompetence takes a back seat to this circus.

Without a Speaker of the House, the House can’t pass the massive spending bills, so we’ve got that going for us. See previous article about Biden wanting an additional $100 billion for Ukraine and Israel for just one example. Unfortunately, much if not all of the anti-American, anti economic growth and pro illegal immigrant policies of the Biden regime will continue since the rabid Democrats who control the federal bureaucracy are more powerful than the House and Senate. As much as I would like Jim Jordan as Speaker, he will have little to no control over the madness of the federal agencies.

Some voted for Lee Zeldin. He would be a great person, but he is not in the running. Votes for McCarty who was deposed. Votes for Scalise. What kinds of "deals" are these people seeking for their vote? At this point in time, I wouldn't be surprised for some of them to vote for Hakeeem Jeffries to gdt some sort of speakership or high committee assignment in a reorganization of the Constitutional Government that NoBama has made it his person mission to DESTROY calling in "transformation" or "reform" WITHOUT a Vote of We the People in some sort of coup-- We are THAT CLOSE to being taken over from within. Since Congress is supposed to be granted the power to approve funds, why not just print more and MORE money to give away to BUY VOTES???!!!

It's Joe Biden's favorite place – his summer home in Delaware where he has decamped dozens of times during his 1,000 days as Commander-in-Chief. As DailyMail.com revealed on Tuesday he has spent at least 300 of those days either in the country's second smallest state or on vacation. He bought the home at a time that it appeared his political career was over – five months after his Vice-Presidency had ended he was well into his 70s and after all he had decided to forgo a 2016 run for the top job.

Former President Donald Trump privately conveyed to allies on Friday he does not back House Majority Whip Tom Emmer’s bid for speaker, throwing another wrench into an already chaotic process to find the next person to hold the gavel. Trump’s conversations come as Emmer has begun privately expressing his interest in the post. The Minnesota Republican, who has been making calls to fellow lawmakers, has emerged as an early frontrunner, having received the endorsement of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. But a sustained offensive from Trump, if one materializes, could spell doom, as any candidate for the job can only afford to lose a handful of votes.

Much is often said about Israel and the United States being natural allies, but that is usually not accompanied by much detail. There are many cultural ties, including religion, of course, and intriguing economic similarities, especially in their respective social instincts for entrepreneurialism, technology, and capital markets. Israel and the United States are also “New World” countries, formed in large part on the basis of religious and political freedom. At a current national security level, the two countries share a similar strategic threat from enemies at their borders and, in some respects, enemies internally

But Democratic strategists told the Daily Caller the president has handled the Israel-Hamas war well, giving numerous public appearances and even presenting himself as a strong commander-in-chief.

House Republicans voted to drop Jim Jordan as their speaker nominee in a secret-ballot vote on Friday afternoon, shortly after the House Judiciary chairman failed to secure the gavel in a floor vote for the third time this week. Twenty-five House Republicans joined a united Democratic caucus in opposing Jordan’s third speaker bid on Friday, setting up the secret-ballot vote to strip him of the nomination. The GOP opposition to Jordan’s bid had steadily grown with each successive ballot: 2o members of the caucus voted against him on the first ballot and 22 voted against him the second time around.

GOP Speaker nominee Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Friday said he would try again to break the two-week-long Speaker stalemate that has plunged the chamber into chaos. “Our plan this weekend is to get a Speaker elected to the House of Representatives as soon as possible so we can help the American people,” Jordan said when asked what his plan is for the weekend. The Ohio Republican scrapped plans to hold a third vote on his bid Thursday after opponents came out of a meeting saying they would maintain their resistance to him and at least two lawmakers who voted for him previously said they would switch their votes.
