Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has decried federal prosecutors for engaging in what he called a fishing expedition - by hitting him and Donald Trump with discovery requests in hopes of finding a charge that will stick.
Aired in an interview Sunday, the assertion comes days after from the former attorney pleaded not guilty to subverting the 2020 election in Georgia, and after a federal judge handed him a loss in a defamation suit brought by two poll workers.
Aside from leaving egg on the face of the already embattled Republican, the judgement saw him slapped with a $132,000 bill for legal fees, and was automatically

Governor Andy Beshear (D-KY) has so far not committed to replacing Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) with another Republican, should the Senate Minority Leader’s health become a persistent problem.
Beshear evaded the question about a possible Senate vacancy — pointing out the fact that McConnell has given no indication he intends to retire before the end of his current term — during a Thursday press conference. “There is no Senate vacancy. Senator McConnell has said he’s going to serve out his term, and I believe him, so I’m not going to speculate

Joe Biden reacted with fury to the news Afghanistan's president had fled the country and left it to the Taliban, a new book has claimed.
The President was three days into his August 2021 vacation at Camp David when he was told by his national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, Ashraf Ghani had left Kabul.
'Biden exploded in frustration,' writes journalist Frankin Foer, in a new account of the first two years of the Biden presidency, which will be published on Tuesday.

President Joe Biden on Saturday claimed that he has not “had the occasion” to go East Palestine, Ohio, despite promising to do so back in March, after the village suffered air and water contamination from a chemical spill resulting after a trail derailment.
Biden gave a rambling answer after a reporter asked him why he had not yet visited, saying:
I haven’t had the occasion to go to East Palestine. There’s a lot going on here, and I just haven’t been able to break. I was thinking that I’d go to East Palestine this week but then I was reminded I’ve gotta go literally around the world.

Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that former President Donald Trump’s indictments were making the United States a “banana republic.”
“This Week” anchor George Stephanopoulos said, “Your hand shot up pretty fast at the debate when you were asked whether you would vote for Donald Trump in the general election, even if he was a convicted felon. Can you just explain why you would vote for a convicted felon for president?” Ramaswamy said, “If the Constitution permits somebody to run, and that’s the person that people of this country want to elect, then that’s the way our system works, and I stand by it.”

A Texan real estate mogul allegedly made 'millions of dollars' by selling vast swathes of local farmland to a Chinese billionaire with close ties to Beijing.
David Frankens, from Lufkin, East Texas, scored the 'deals of the century' when flipping the land at around twice its market value to Sun Guangxin, a former captain in the Chinese military, local realtors told DailyMail.com.
The trades have sparked fury among ranchers in Val Verde County, where Sun bought more than 130,000 acres of farmland for an estimated $110million between 2016 and 2018.

A federal judge blocked a Tennessee district attorney from enforcing the state’s law shielding children from sexually explicit performances ahead of a “Pride” event after he was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union.
The judge’s ruling comes after the ACLU filed a lawsuit this week against Blount County DA Ryan Desmond, who sent a letter to Blount County Pride saying that any explicit performances in front of children would not be allowed at a “Pride” event on September 2 just south of Knoxville. Video has emerged from “Pride” events across the country of explicit drag performances with children present and looking on.

Multiple groups of professed neo-Nazis were spotted marching through parks in the Orlando area Saturday, with one group even ending up at the gates of Walt Disney World.
Social media videos showed the groups - known as 'Blood Tribe' and 'The Goyim Defense League' - taking to the streets in Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Spring.
The marchers, caught on video by State Representative Anna V. Eskamani, were raising the Nazi salute and chanting 'we are everywhere.' It came just days after racist mass shooter Ryan Palmeter killed three black people at a Dollar General store in Jacksonville. Palmeter walked into the store on Saturday armed with two firearms, including

TIJUANA, Mexico— As the U.S. government built its latest stretch of border wall, Mexico made a statement of its own by laying remains of the Berlin Wall a few steps away.
The 3-ton pockmarked, gray concrete slab sits between a bullring, a lighthouse and the border wall, which extends into the Pacific Ocean.
“May this be a lesson to build a society that knocks down walls and builds bridges,” reads the inscription below the towering Cold War relic, attributed to Tijuana Mayor Montserrat Caballero and titled, “A World Without Walls.” For Caballero, like many of Tijuana’s 2 million residents, the U.S. wall is personal and political, a part of the city’s

Parents are outraged after a teachers union in Jefferson County, Colorado told teachers to destroy evidence of student surveys on gender identity.
The teachers union told educators to use pencil and paper instead of a digital survey so there would not be any trace of it after it was disposed of. They encouraged them to take notes on the answers they gave and not hold onto the surveys.
CBS Colorado Reported:
Some parents in Jefferson County say teachers are breaking state and federal laws and their union is helping them get away with it.

We live in an age of unbelief. The foundations of American life are eroding. America is entering an uncharted, revolutionary time. We are no longer the America of our founders or even the America that existed twenty years ago. We are in trouble, and a cataclysm of ominous events may soon overwhelm us. We need a national spiritual revival.
Two seminal revival movements were such game-changing events in American history that historians were compelled to call them Great Awakenings. The First Great Awakening in the mid-1700s created the moral climate for the Declaration of Independence and the founding of a new country,
