Al Gore, his legal team and I tried to
find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied
officials and fought in the courts in
2000. The only difference now? The candidate's
name is Donald Trump... That's why this
prosecution is an outrage

Electoral challenges have long been part of American history.
Only now are they being criminalized.I was one of the lawyers involved in objections to Florida's presidential vote in 2000.
A margin of less than 600 ballots determined that Governor George W. Bush rather than Vice President Al Gore won the state and, thus, the electoral college vote.
I was convinced then and I am convinced now that this result was wrong.
No one was indicted, disbarred, disciplined or even much criticized for those efforts, yet here we stand today.

Gore, probably my least favorite political character of all of them, should have been skinned on live television for the 36 days of hell after the 2000 election, during which time Democrats tried, but failed, to sneak 538 fake ballots into the tally. Gore has since become rich in worldly goods, but his future will be a hot one. Very hot.

It's not just the money in your bank account that puts you into a two tiered justice system. It's also a D or an R. It amazes me how anal these people are. Trump is the devil incarnate but if you do the same thing (as long as you have the D) then it's not a problem. This is damn scary stuff. What the hell is happening to America? And the msm closes their eyes and reminds us of all the good FJB is spreading around.

# 2 The left ( uniparty ) believes that it's their right to rule. In order to do that, America has to be brought down. This is the reason for their unbridled hatred of Trump. He got in their way . They've come out of the woodwork, their raw evil is showing for everyone to see. Trumps crime? Telling the truth about people that have sold out America aka treason.

And I thought the movie "Idiocracy" was a bit too far out there. Seems pretty innocent now.

While reading the morning paper I came across a teeny tiny paragraph that said that in Broward County there were just not enough votes to elect gore. The Supreme Court did NOT decide tat election. Browsed county people did. How many time have you heard mcauliffe and gore and the media claim the SC decided the election. So not true. I cut that tidbit out of the paper. Woukd use it to show people who Woukd argue about the SC Wish I still had it

Dershowitz should know a lot more than me, but my recollection is the US Sup Ct stopped the counting until uniformity and fairness could be assured and then Gore conceded. From the Sup Ct's syllabus: "That date is here [Dec 12, 2020], but there is no recount procedure in place under the state court's order that com-
ports with minimal constitutional standards." In other words, the process in place was unconstitutional and there was no time for a new one. Gore was too late. I think Trump got poured out a few times for being late. And for being early.
Dershowitz sure hates liars, and he refuses to concede to these banana republic freaks and accede to their criminality.
I do wonder how Dershowitz knows that the election was not stolen from Trump- unless he means that when Congress certified the electors that was that, all further questions tabled.

# 5 - very true. All the supreme court did in the Gore fiasco was stop the count with one ruling and declare the method of recount wrong. One vote was 7 - 2 and the other 5 - 4. They made no determination about who won. Had Gore not singled out just one country, but let the whole state be recounted, he very likely would have won. Scary thought.

#7 and others, Al Gore lost that election. The supreme court only ruled the method of the recount, not its outcome. The Dems wanted to only recount Broward county but the Fl constitution states that in any recount the entire state must be recounted. The SC simply said Fl has to abide by its own constitution.
There were almost a dozen private recounts by various news orgs after the fact.l, all desperate to cast the shadow of illegitamacy over the Bush administration, Only one, ridiculously biased, count actually showed a Gore win. Most of those actually oncresed the Bush vote count if I remember correctly.

Gore only lost because some of the fake ballots they created didn't have the chad pushed out. That can happen when you're punching out hundreds at a time.

Yes, #10, that’s exactly what happened. Dershowitz has to claim that he believed Al Gore should’ve won because otherwise he would’ve been fighting for vote fraud in 2000…which he did. He also helped free a man who sliced and diced his ex-wife and her friend, and a man who murdered his very wealthy, (then) current wife. He has also been identified by one of Epstein’s girls as a visitor to Lolita Island. IMO, the man is scum.

No Alan. The real reason this prosecution is an outrage is because it the same persecutors who stole the election.

Hillary went so far as to try to talk electors into flipping their votes which they were beholden to place according to state law. Some of them, though not enough, did, but under what threat or bribe? Where are her indictments?

The entire state of Florida was recounted after the Supreme Court ruled, just to see if it would have made a difference if the Court had not stopped the recount. The result? Bush won.

Don't get discouraged folks...it's just a matter of time...true Americans will no longer put up with this______fill in the blanks so I don't get censored by Jonah of Lucianne again...the communists in DC who think they are in charge will learn a big lesson in 2024....Americans are not dutiful peasants like the Chinese and Russians...look what happened to Ukraine...the people stood up and said NO to Putin...and then of course the pentagon took over and gave away the store to their corporate oligarchs ...and the Ukrainians never had a chance....that war should have been finished months ago...and WE all know it....
