Hunter Biden continues to be a "good standing" member of the Washington, D.C. Bar despite facing multiple criminal charges and violating the organization's rules of professional conduct. (snip) According to the D.C. Bar website, Biden remains a member in "good standing," despite the rules of professional conduct stating that it is misconduct for a lawyer to "commit a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer in other respects." The rules also explain that "many kinds of illegal conduct reflect adversely on fitness to practice law, such as offenses involving fraud and the offense of willful failure to file an income tax return."

Everything about Washington, DC is a perverse version of the law and adverse to America and the Constitution. Dishonesty, illegal imprisonment of innocent people, protection for murderers, crooked politicians, real actual racism, all can be found inside the encircling lanes of I-495. When China selects a Ground Zero for their first nuke, Washington is the perfect choice.

Hunter is on a path to crash and burn. Being disbarred is the least of his worries.
It is unlikely that Dad will run in 2024. Once that happens, his protection goes away and he is of no use to anyone.

Hunter is still is good standing with the Bar? Why? Is it because of Daddy? He should have his license revoked immediately.

I don't know what the bar rules are, but other professional licensing boards require you to report convictions, not merely indictments. But DUI type incidents and drug addictions can be considered as discreditable acts. But apparently disbarment rules are only for lawyers investigating the probable stolen election in 2020 and for any lawyer representing Trump.

I would be embarrassed if I were known as a “good standing" member of the Washington, D.C. Bar”.

The only requirement to remain in good standing is to be a Democrat. Ethics are optional.

Keep your knickers up, folks. This is no surprise. No bar association disbars an attorney for allegations of having violated the law, only for convictions of having violated the law. Bar associations may hold their own investigations and receive testimony from injured parties if the attorney has not been charged with a crime; but once the attorney has been charged, the bar doesn't step in and punish until the courts have convicted the attorney.

Wait, Hunter passed the DC Bar Exam while PIAPS flunked it? I thought she was supposed to be the Smartest Woman in the History of the Universe. Apparently she's actually dumber than Briben's crackhead son.

Interesting that he's still a lawyer, as it comes with having a higher understanding of the law, which should be working against him in his current legal matters.
Except, he has his Daddy's Dept. of Justices negotiating a deal with his son's defense lawyers. All of whom are dependent upon doing the "right thing" which will enhance their career advancement.

#16 - I am a California licensed attorney, and I refer you to the following excerpt from the web site of a California law firm that specializes in attorney discipline matters:
"A state licensing agency has the power to appear in criminal court to ask the judge to suspend a defendant’s license while the criminal case is pending, as a condition of bail. This request is made under Penal Code section 23, usually at the first court appearance (the arraignment) or early in the criminal prosecution process."
