Monday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) revealed that he had once again made a referral for former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s prosecution by the Department of Justice. According to the Kentucky Republican, Fauci lied to Congress, which he said was a felony. (snip) “So, everything he’s been telling us from the very beginning has been a lie,” he added. “We’ve documented that it’s a lie, and it’s a felony to lie to Congress. And so, I’ve referred him not once but now twice to the Attorney General of the United States for prosecution."

Anthony "Frankenstein" Fauci........June 27, 2023...... "Former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci—who is currently enjoying a pension of over $400,000 a year following his retirement—will be joining Georgetown University as a "distinguished" professor in the School of Medicine's Department of Medicine." "Some lab experiments that Fauci was associated with included the National Institute of Health's (NIH) funding of the gain-of-function research, which was performed at the Wuhan Institute of Virology during his tenure as the head of the NIH. " "Frankenstein" lives.

Seems incongruent for lying to Congress to be a crime when they lie to us all the time. Was he under oath? Martha Stewart got prison for lying to federal agents and she wasn't even under oath. No fan of Fauci but I'd rather see the resident at the White House on a chain gang.

And I have referred Fauci to the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny for prosecution. I suppose that will be just as effective as referring him to the DOJ.

The DOJ will sit on this for as long as possible but it's the thought that counts. Fauci is the head of the snake with many others in line behind him. Fauci has landed on his feet so far, he is not very bright but neither is the typical student at Georgetown so it's a good match.

Who is Judge Noreika? 4 replies

Federal Judge Maryellen Noreika is suddenly in the spotlight. Today she refused to approve Hunter Biden’s plea agreement, as we have discussed in several previous posts. Liberals immediately denounced Judge Noreika as a Trump appointee. All of which raises the question: who is she? (snip) Noreika graduated from Lehigh University, got a masters degree in biology from Columbia, and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Pittsburgh University, where she was a member of the Law Review. Her career in private practice was with the Morris, Nichols law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. Morris, Nichols is a good, medium-sized firm. She did intellectual property litigation, mostly patent lawsuits.

The FBI furnished key files to the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday regarding its work to combat domestic Catholic extremism and an uptick in threats against school administrators. Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Oh.) subpoenaed the files and threatened to hold FBI director Christopher Wray in contempt if he refused to hand them over. Jordan had given Wray a July 25 deadline. Now that the bureau has handed over the batch of records, Jordan’s team plans to review the documents and is keeping its options open.

Hunter Biden's lawyers have responded to allegations that they conspired to lie to a court clerk in the First Son's criminal case in Delaware by saying the incident was simply an 'unfortunate misunderstanding.' Delaware Judge Maryellen Noreika had ordered the First Son's attorneys to explain themselves by 9pm Tuesday or be sanctioned. (snip) It is claimed that someone from Hunter's attorney Chris Clark's former law firm later called the Delaware clerk – pretending to be from the office of Smith's attorney, Theodore Kittila – asking them to remove the original filing and, with it, 448 pages of Congressional testimony from the two IRS investigators who worked on the case.

“I wonder after this plea happens if you would advise your party to move on?” That question from CBS’s “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan to Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie was raised just days before a former business associate of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, gives potentially explosive testimony to a House committee in the Biden corruption scandal. The media’s desire to “move on” from the scandal is reaching an almost frantic level, as millions in foreign payments and dozens of corporate shell companies are revealed, and incriminating emails are released.

Carlos Uriarte, an assistant attorney general, wrote in a letter to Jordan that Weiss could appear in late September or October for the hearing, long after President Joe Biden's son and Weiss have finalized their plea agreement, which is set to take place at a hearing Wednesday.

When the Pittsburgh FBI office briefed the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office on evidence implicating Hunter and Joe Biden in a bribery scheme, the agents also told the Delaware team they had already corroborated several aspects of the confidential human source’s claims, an individual familiar with the briefing told The Federalist. On Thursday, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released the FD-1023 summary of a confidential human source’s reporting that the Ukrainian oil and gas company Burisma paid Hunter and Joe Biden each $5 million in bribes so the then-Vice President would “protect” Burisma “from all kinds of problems.”

In a recent interview with Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo, former President Donald Trump recounted a long-ago conversation he’d had with the late Sen. Ted Kennedy. He claimed he asked Kennedy whom he considered to be the smartest senator. “I won’t tell you the answer because I don’t particularly like the guy. Did you know that homeless people enjoy a constitutional right to free parking? That’s the main takeaway from a California Court of Appeals opinion issued Friday that ruled cities that tow cars with five or more unpaid parking tickets violate the 4th Amendment’s prohibition of search and seizure without a warrant. The Coalition on Homelessness sued the City and County of San Francisco seeking an injunction against towing scofflaw cars that piled up parking tickets, and the trial court had denied the petition. But the Court of Appeals reversed, because “appellant [Coalition on Homelessness] presented declarations regarding the severe impacts of vehicle tows on unhoused San Francisco residents.”

After several news organizations authenticated the laptop's contents, CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins asked the ex-Obama official Monday night whether he wished he never signed the letter "given what we know now."

When Joe Biden tapped Kamala Harris to be his running mate in 2020, it was perhaps the most easily predicted vice presidential choice in recent memory. Biden had made it clear that after emerging from the most diverse Democratic presidential candidate field in history, he would select a woman to join him on the ticket. The dynamics of the Democratic Party, which relies heavily on the votes of African American women to win elections, made it seem likely that Biden would select a running mate from this demographic group, especially as the murder of George Floyd brought race issues to the top of the public agenda.
