Speaking at Turning Point USA’s ACTCON convention this past weekend, Roger Stone predicted that Michelle Obama will be the Democrat party’s nominee for president. He may be right. I certainly wouldn’t discount her being on the ballot or actually winning. Here’s Stone’s tweet with the video showing him making that prediction: Predicting the future is a notoriously tricky business, but I think that Stone’s prediction is at least plausible based on the known facts. In the short term, getting Biden out and Kamala in is reasonable on its face. Biden is degrading with exponential speed. It’s fine to keep him propped up in office to sign the necessary executive orders to advance

Portland, Oregon, appears to have a serial killer on its hands, and the murderer’s biggest accomplice may be the governor who let him out of prison early. Before she left office, Governor Kate Brown commuted the sentences of people in prison who behaved well while under lock and key. She released others who she were near the end of their sentences, and chose to shorten the “sentences of 912 nonviolent inmates at risk of contracting COVID, granted 130 pardons, cleared death row, and wiped away cannabis possession convictions of nearly 50,000 people,” Willamette Week reported.
The consequences of avoiding reality are killing us … literally!
American leaders and policy makers in the 21st century should have paid attention to the profound wisdom put forth by Ayn Rand in the last Millennium:
“You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.”
It pinpoints the basis for countless problems in America run by Democrats in recent years, clarifying why they occurred.
Consider the following illustrations:

Public schools (I prefer the term “government schools”) in Democrat-run cities have become a racket, plundering taxpayers’ funds and failing to deliver even a minimally acceptable education. The fact that Americans spend more on their government schools than any other country, and yet our students place near the bottom of standardized achievement tests is all the proof that one needs. We are being cheated on a massive scale, and the future of the nation is in peril when large numbers of children, mostly but not exclusively minorities, are being condemned to law pay and social status because they are so innumerate and illiterate.
Word emerged the other day that Ray Epps is finally about to be charged for events on January 6, 2021. Sharp-eyed media consumers instantly noticed that, with this news, the mainstream media moved in unison to redefine their previous characterization of events on that day.
Since the day Joe Biden took office, the administration has spent an inordinate amount of time, energy, and money to arrest and prosecute every random grandmother who took a picture inside the Capitol on January 6, ignoring the fact that Capitol police welcomed many into the building.

Either Hunter Biden is a delicate snowflake, or his legal team is beyond thin-skinned because the letter they sent to Donald Trump is laughable. The recently concluded riots in France are a dark omen for Europe and the wider Western world. The Algerian teenager whose killing lit the fuse has been likened to George Floyd, and indeed, there are striking parallels. Both were criminals who died while refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, for starters. But that is not the story Western audiences are getting from their press. The end of affirmative action was inevitable. The only surprise was that such intentions gone terribly wrong lasted so long.
First, supporters of racial preferences always pushed back the goal posts for the program’s success. Was institutionalized reverse bias to last 20 years, 60 years, or ad infinitum? Parity became defined as an absolute equality of result. If “equity” was not obtained, then only institutionalized “racism” explained disparities. And only reverse racism was deemed the cure.
Second, affirmative action was imposed on the back end in adult hiring and college admissions.

Speaking in South Carolina today, presidential candidate Ron DeSantis blamed President Trump for the events of January 6, 2021, in Washington DC saying, “I think it was shown how he was in the White House and didn’t do anything while things were going on. Should he have come out more forcefully? Lisa Murkowski is the perfect mascot for Senate Republicans. She is a Democrat in all but name, an aristocrat who inherited her office, and a beneficiary of rigged elections. She has more in common with Nancy Pelosi than the average Republican voter, and every time Alaskan Republicans attempt to throw her out of office, Mitch McConnell's minions manipulate the rules to save her.
For McConnell, Murkowski is another beholden senator kept securely in his pocket who will vote how he wants on any given day.
