Edmund Burke once said, “To make us love our country, our country ought to be lovely.” No nation on earth should inspire more patriotism than the United States of America, which is why I introduced legislation last week to codify the core of President Donald Trump’s December 2020 Executive Order to make classical architecture the preferred style for all new federal buildings. My bill defines classical architecture as a host of styles, including Neoclassical, Georgian, Federal, Greek Revival, Beaux-Arts, and Art Deco. We should follow the example of presidents like Thomas Jefferson, William Howard Taft, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who all prioritized classical architecture.

The decline of distinctive and aesthetically pleasing architecture, government and private, replaced by soulless, hermetically sealed energy efficient utilitarian boxes is evidence of cultural decline. The absence of color where it once was prevalent— look no further than seating areas in clinics, offices or restaurants. No paint, no wood. Earth tones and furniture with recycled materials. Eastern European Cold War chic.

'Unspeakable Stupidity' of Devaluing Work

A few months ago, Mike Rowe stumbled upon a 2011 video of himself speaking in front of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee during the Obama administration about the mindset of government toward skilled trades. His argument was that skilled trades were the key to saving our economy, not those jobs that require a four-year degree. His argument fell on deaf ears. So he went again in April of 2014, this time testifying before the House Committee on Natural Resources to discuss the opportunities for skilled trade workers in the energy industry.

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Monday discussed upgrading partnership with India, a major arms buyer, and set a roadmap for cooperation for the next five years as both countries grapple with China’s economic rise and increased belligerence, officials said. Austin’s visit comes as India strengthens its domestic defense industry by acquiring new technologies and reducing reliance on imports, particularly from Russia, its largest supplier of military hardware despite the ongoing war in Ukraine. Austin and his Indian counterpart, Rajnath Singh, explored ways of building resilient supply chains, a statement from India’s Defense Ministry said.

I think the difference between this year and 2016 is that Donald Trump is the Bruce Springsteen of the MAGA movement. And these guys are a cover band, trying to dethrone the Bruce Springsteen of the MAGA movement,” Priebus said on ABC’s “This Week.” Priebus, who was the RNC chair from 2011 to 2017, said that Trump’s Republican challengers, like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, are not going after the former president. On the other hand, Trump is taking aim at his opponents, especially DeSantis who Trump has nicknamed “Ron DeSanctimonious.”

In October 2022, Konnech CEO Eugene Yu was arrested in Michigan in connection with “theft of personal data.” The alleged stolen data belonged to poll workers and was the subject of TrueTheVote’s “PIT” in Arizona last August, where Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips singled out the Michigan based company. During the PIT conference, Phillips and Engelbrecht alleged they were cooperating with the FBI in Michigan about data being sent overseas by this company. The investigation quickly started to turn on them after the FBI started to distance itself from the investigation for some strange reason.

Staff at a Soho art gallery representing Hunter Biden’s paintings called police Thursday to investigate a possible computer hack of its financial records, The Post has learned. A source close to the Georges Berges Gallery, which has mounted shows of President Biden’s son’s art since 2021, said staff members fear that financial transactions have been hacked, after a client alerted them to a phony invoice requesting payment to an account not controlled by dealer Georges Berges. The possible hack comes days after staff discovered that the gallery’s phone number had been “compromised” by a number that had been traced to Turkey, the source told The Post.

Shortly before he hanged himself in his Manhattan jail cell, Jeffrey Epstein penned a letter from behind bars to another high-profile pedophile, Larry Nassar — but the note was never received by the disgraced US gymnastics team doctor. The shocking development was included in 4,000 pages of documents obtained Thursday by the Associated Press that also offered an updated glimpse into Epstein’s declining mental health during his 36-day stint at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. Epstein’s unopened letter to Nassar, who spent decades sexually abusing young girls, was discovered in the mail room of the since-shuttered lockup with a “return to sender” notice weeks after his suicide

Thanks to a misreading of the Constitution, America is becoming more and more of a secular wasteland. All sorts of ideas and ideologies are allowed in the public square. But not Christian ones. That exclusion does not comport with what the founders of America intended.I thank God for people like Kirk Cameron, the actor and children’s author, who often presents a library presentation helping children learn about God, instead of promoting things like “drag queen story hour.” It’s become a cliché to say that it is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. But Cameron is indeed lighting many candles in the darkness.

Conservatives and traditionalists are often exasperated at the ongoing woke cultural revolution in their midst. How can America be turned upside down, as it is, when there is little public support for the things happening around us? They don't see much backing for the current border policy and illegal immigration, yet it continues. Conservatives feel that most Americans reject the trend of biological men dominating female sporting events. They fear American jurisprudence has become now vastly weaponized and warped. Certainly, former President Donald Trump will be more likely indicted by a politicized New York City prosecutor

In May, the House Oversight Committee’s probe found the Biden family business over the course of several years received at least $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling. In total, nine Biden family members received payments from the family foreign business ventures, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren, the investigation revealed.
