In a Congress full of morons, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) certainly fits right in.
Recall Cohen is the same genius who deemed it a good idea to bring a bucket of KFC to a House Judiciary Committee hearing back in May 2019 to mock then-Attorney General William Barr for not showing up.
Cohen only made himself look disgusting.(Photo) Redstate.com reported that during Tuesday’s Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Cohen denigrated Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and other conservative justices by mocking the fact our rights come from God.
“I just wondered when God decided to give women the right to vote and why God didn’t decide to give women

The only unpardonable sin is blasphemy (mocking) of the Holy Spirit (God). Good luck with that. Your sarcastic humor will burn bright in the Lake of Fire. Your only hope is to repent of your sin, believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and ask Him to forgive you in His Holy name. Then go and sin no more. But we know that is not going to happen. I will pray for you though.

Cohen is the representative from Memphis and the only D'Rat congressman in Tennessee. The voters of Memphis are as low-info as you can get. The city is a mess and run by D'Rats from mayor to city council to dog catcher. But the low-info uneducated voters Memphis only know how to vote one way (D). You'd think after 60 years of voting (D) and their life, continually getting worse they'd figure it out.

The Commie Puke looks to his constituents for support.
2018 - " U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen is coming under fire for remarks he made last month in which he wished President Donald Trump would encourage U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn to jump off a bridge."
2018 - "Last month, Cohen faced heat after he said that if he could give a Purple Heart to FBI agent Peter Strzok, he would. Cohen made the comment about Strzok, who was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election interference, during a congressional hearing and has since apologized."
The Commie.

The downside of voting rights is that literally anyone can get elected.

Sorry to disappoint your prejudice #4 but not all Memphians are low-info. He caters to some of the people and cares nothing for his constituents. We got stuck with him when the state decided to play the redistricting game and Marsha Blackburn no longer served us in Congress. Fortunately, she won a Senate seat. Cohen is such a dunce that he tried to finagle his way into the Congressional Black Caucus. He's clownish but Republicans never present a viable option. I doubt that we are the only area with buffoons who play the race card.

Keep in mind, Cohen tried for a decade to step into that Congressional seat, but was constantly frozen out by the nepotisim , it was the Ford Family seat. Once he DID win it, he announced that because it was the Ford Family seat he intended to join the Congressional Black Caucus.
The media did not cover the "Oh NO you are NOT!" response that immediately followed.

Tennessee is sommat famous for its "Hereditary" political offices, most famous being the Gore's.
Algore jr. was actually born in DC, raised in DC, living in the luxury Fairfax Hotel on Embassy row, thence off to Harvard. Other than summer vacay's he didn't deem to live in Tennessee until it was time to run for Family Office, where the Machine made sure he was ekkklected.

IIRC, The Cohen surname identifies a lineal descendant of Aaron, the first High Priest. All of Aaron’s descendants held the office of Priest or High Priest, separate from the Levites. Stevey has both disgraced and blasphemed his heritage.

This execrable excuse for a human being who calls himself "Congressman Cohen" is a left-wing ideologue, meaning he knows nothing about the U.S. Constitution or its application. The Constitution itself sets up the framework of the federal government. It neither grants nor denies any individual "rights." It is the Bill of Rights appended to the main body of the Constitution as the first Ten Amendments that actually sets up strictures AGAINST governmental usurpation of the natural and therefore God-given rights that inure to each and every American. That is to say, the Bill of Rights merely clarifies how far the federal government can go in curtailing our rights, which exist independent of The Constitution or any other human instrument or institution. Cohen is merely repeating the enormous and blatant falsehood promulgated by the looney left that our rights "come from" government. They do not! His ignorant statements are of a piece with the left's belief that all income belongs to the government and it is the government that determines how much of it you are "entitled" to keep. He and all those who share his dictatorial proclivities--by which I mean all elected democrats-- are monsters. How they got to be so powerful is both puzzling and disturbing.

watched a tidbit of this clowns discourse in the Hearing Room in the dump on the hump in DC and lo and behold who appears to the left of this mental midget cohen is none other than the saviour of the island of Guam but hank johnson which leads me to believe the stupidity was transmitted via osmosis from johnson to cohen but, then again, I'm sure I'm wrong on that that one but we never know do we?
