The Democrat War on Election Integrity Continues

Original Article

Posted By: Garnet, 2/20/2023 12:54:39 AM

Until a couple of decades ago, voting in the United States was a straightforward exercise that required registered voters to appear at local polling places on Election Day and cast their ballots in person. A small number were permitted to vote absentee if they were stationed overseas in the military or could show that they were otherwise unable to get to the polls. This system, with minor variations, was used in all 50 states and revealed the winners of most elections with alacrity. Though not perfect, it was generally efficient, secure, and trusted by the vast majority of voters.

Election fraud seems to be the norm. Arizona is just the most recent publicised example. Elections stolen but made deliberately close so as to avoid scrutiny disappear under the radar.

There isn't enough outrage when mail in and absentee ballots can't be verified with actual voter registrations. This alone is so full of fraud no wonder demorats can claim they won the popular vote. And to top it all off they are absolute masters of this in PA when it takes days to count the ballots ? The old system was the best as no one was prevented from voting and if it really did mean something for a person to vote they could VOTE ! We have become a banana republic and the Dems are loving it!

The long-standing---nay, imperishable!---motto of the Commiecrat Party is this: whatever it takes. The current manifestation of this is: once we can steal elections, we can steal the Country. With their machinations only weakly opposed---looking at you GOP---I'd say they're just about there.

Yep, if all elections were honest we'd never have another democrap in office, anywhere... One day, paper ballots with indelible ink pens, no mail in, no absentee (unless you are lying in a hospital somewhere), no one allowed to 'help' anyone vote, no ballot harvesting, if you ain't in the poll book you don't get to vote, and, purple inkpot for your thumb instead of those stupid stickers...and NO electronic devices of any kind at the polls.... We need to make sure elections are honest....

Re absentee ballots. Many years ago when I was one of the few Republicans here in the Deep South, I was tasked with getting an absentee ballot to an elderly, disabled gentleman who voted Republican. I had to go to his home, physically watch him sign and personally sign as witness. It was made quite plain that any fakery brought severe consequences. There should be NO mail-in of uncertified ballots. It won’t stop all the Dem cheating because they will do anything for power but it would certainly help.

AState Department-backed group is severing its connections with a disinformation index group also backed by progressive megadoner George Soros – following reports about the group’s efforts to muzzle conservative media outlets by blacklisting them with advertisers. The National Endowment for Democracy, a private foundation created by Congress whose funding is part of the State Department budget, said it will no longer provide grants to the Global Disinformation Index, according to The Washington Times. "Recently, we became aware that one of our grantees, the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), was engaged in an initiative, funded by a different donor, that focused on specific U.S. media outlets,” the NED told the newspaper Tuesday.

Social Security and Medicare are on an “unsustainable course” and will run out of funds by 2037. That’s the conclusion reached by the General Accountability Office (GAO) and the Social Security Administration. There is no saving these programs without massive changes. And demagoguing the issue, as Joe Biden and the Democrats are doing, only delays the day of reckoning. To pretend these programs don’t need intervention now — right now — is to play with dynamite. The sooner we can get started, the less pain will be inflicted on senior citizens. Pain there will be. In order to put these programs on the path to long-term viability, it will take political courage

We now have the most authoritative estimate of the value provided by wearing masks during the pandemic: approximately zero. The most rigorous and extensive review of the scientific literature concludes that neither surgical masks nor N95 masks have been shown to make a difference in reducing the spread of Covid-19 and other respiratory illnesses. This verdict ought to be the death knell for mask mandates, but that would require the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the rest of the public-health establishment to forsake “the science”—and unfortunately, these leaders and their acolytes in the media seem as determined as ever to ignore actual science.

Woke employees complained, and despite 23 years of loyal service, Levi’s CEO Chip Bergh told her there wasn’t a place for her at the company. Here, Sey reflects on the scandal. It’s been a year since my story of my cancellation went viral, and I think I know why: hypocrisy. Levi’s is known as an all-American brand rooted in rugged individualism. There's been a lot of talk among Republicans about the effect a big primary field might have on the 2024 presidential nomination race. The short version is that a big field is thought to benefit former President Donald Trump, who, as in 2016, would not have to win a majority of votes to win — a plurality, and not even a big one, would be enough. On the other hand, a small field, especially a one-on-one matchup with another candidate, say Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), might allow the challenger to defeat Trump. Given that, there are Republican activists in the early voting states who are trying to keep the field small.

From the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration–the public health officials and economists who warned that the government’s response to COVID would be a disaster–comes the Norfolk Declaration, which calls for a COVID-19 Commission to look back at the lessons we have, or at least should have learned from the past 3 years. The authors come from diverse backgrounds, but are unified by one central characteristic: they saw the disaster coming and tried to warn us. For their troubles, they were attacked, slandered, censored, and professionally harmed. That is not their focus, though. Rather they want to salvage something from the disaster. As with a post-crash investigation of an airplane accident,

On Sunday afternoon, I got a text from my mother-in-law. She had just seen a news alert that the Federal Aviation Administration and North American Air Defense had temporarily closed the airspace over Lake Michigan. My husband's parents live near the lake and were a bit concerned. “Do I need to go to the basement??” she wrote. She was largely kidding, but at the same time, I think my mother-in-law hit on the unease most of us have felt in recent days, as the United States keeps encountering these unidentified objects in the sky. The object that caused concern over Lake Michigan apparently then floated over the

Democrats and the corporate media have often accused former President Donald Trump of using a propaganda strategy called the “Big Lie” to convince Americans that the 2020 election was stolen. They remind us that Adolf Hitler coined the term in Mein Kampf and that his minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, perfected the technique. Essentially, it involves relentlessly repeating a colossal lie until the public eventually comes to believe it. It is little wonder that the Democrats and the Fourth Estate are so familiar with this strategy — they employ it themselves every election cycle.

We were told there were 14,000 hours of surveillance video, but now it appears there are roughly 41,000 hours of tape. Tucker has long questioned whether J6 was an actual insurrection. The FBI stated in August 2021 they found little evidence that the crowd tried to topple the United States. A Harvard University survey released in August 2022 said the same thing. Democrats have fought to keep the tapes under wraps. That is understandable, as it’s hard to cry “insurrection” when looking at videos

Once upon a time we mocked the Soviet Union for its gerontocracy. Aged party leaders, bundled up in overcoats and fur hats to the point of near-unrecognizability, would be wheeled out to sit, immobile, as parades passed or party congresses opened. Their withered, stale leadership was emblematic of the decaying USSR’s withered, stale ideology — and industrial base. But now the joke’s on us. A leading United States senator, Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), can’t seem to remember important things, like her just-taken vote on a judicial nominee and her just-announced retirement. “Did I vote for that?” she asked an aide Wednesday, moments after leaving the chamber.

The long-range missiles matter. So do the super-accurate artillery shells, the surface-to-air missiles, and the winter weather gear; the training in the English countryside or the muddy Grafenwöhr maneuver grounds; and the intelligence provided from the eyes in space and the ears on airplanes that circle outside the battlezone. President Biden’s visit to Kyiv matters just as much as any of these. Other heads of government preceded him, earning deserved credit. But it is an altogether different thing when the president of the United States—who is, indeed, the leader of the Free World—shows up. His words mattered.
