Biden’s Big Lie About Social Security
and Medicare

Original Article

Democrats and the corporate media have often accused former President Donald Trump of using a propaganda strategy called the “Big Lie” to convince Americans that the 2020 election was stolen. They remind us that Adolf Hitler coined the term in Mein Kampf and that his minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, perfected the technique. Essentially, it involves relentlessly repeating a colossal lie until the public eventually comes to believe it. It is little wonder that the Democrats and the Fourth Estate are so familiar with this strategy — they employ it themselves every election cycle.

Let’s see, it’s a Ponzi scheme none are willing to end…that includes conservatives, liberals and moderates. They’ve all had their chances over the years for “reform”. The scheme will be “fixed” by increasing revenue, I.e. raising taxes and more general revenue infusion.

There are never facts behind his statements. He just makes the statement and scoffs at anyone who dares to question it. Then he takes no questions and walks away.

All these tv and other journalists are too young to know that the demosluts claiming the Republicans are going to cut Social Security and Medicare is old news. The demosluts were saying this back in 1968. I remember a Newsweek cover saying the same thing back in 1972 and demoslut tv ads saying grandma will be eating dog and cat food if Republicans are elected. Any of these so called journalists who are under the age of 60 don't know any of this.

Who said what and when they said it are questions that are subordinate to the far bigger question: What’s the plan for action when Social Security and Medicare run out of money? Neither party has planned for that day which will soon be upon us. The underlying assumption among members of Congress is that we can always print more money but that gambit seems to have run its course. Without a complicit and profligate Federal Reserve there to conjure money when needed, Congress will have to do their least favorite job: reducing spending. Means-testing for benefits, raising the age for eligibility, and cutting benefits and coverages will all be on the table. The only question in my mind is whether these adjustments are made before or after they run out of money.

From the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration–the public health officials and economists who warned that the government’s response to COVID would be a disaster–comes the Norfolk Declaration, which calls for a COVID-19 Commission to look back at the lessons we have, or at least should have learned from the past 3 years. The authors come from diverse backgrounds, but are unified by one central characteristic: they saw the disaster coming and tried to warn us. For their troubles, they were attacked, slandered, censored, and professionally harmed. That is not their focus, though. Rather they want to salvage something from the disaster. As with a post-crash investigation of an airplane accident,

On Sunday afternoon, I got a text from my mother-in-law. She had just seen a news alert that the Federal Aviation Administration and North American Air Defense had temporarily closed the airspace over Lake Michigan. My husband's parents live near the lake and were a bit concerned. “Do I need to go to the basement??” she wrote. She was largely kidding, but at the same time, I think my mother-in-law hit on the unease most of us have felt in recent days, as the United States keeps encountering these unidentified objects in the sky. The object that caused concern over Lake Michigan apparently then floated over the

Americans Didn't Tune in for State of
the Union Address

Tuesday's State of the Union address sure has gotten attention for the ways in which some Republican members reacted to President Joe Biden's lies, but among the chatter, it's worth wondering if people actually tuned in for the address? Not really, it turns out, given that just 27.3 million people watched, according to data from Nielsen across 16 networks. That's a decline of 29 percent, as is mentioned in Deadline's headline. The Hill mentioned in their headline that the ratings took "a nosedive." Those ratings look even worse when compared to previous years, and the lack of viewers in the demographics that Biden needs support from. As Deadline mentioned:

Joe Biden is running for president again and his second State of the Union address was his campaign manifesto headlined by the notion of "finish the job" as his rallying cry. Most Americans today, however, want Biden to finish up his job and move over for someone else. Clearly, this president has no intention of backing down from an all-out effort to stay in office even as polls show a majority of Democrats want him to stick to one term. First, let’s cover what was not in the speech. Inflation – the nation’s number one problem – got almost no mention.

Remember when we were told that the army of new IRS agents Biden wants to hire was only going to go after billionaires? Good times. If that’s the case, somebody should check to see if Bill Gates and Elon Musk have taken some side gigs slinging hash at a diner somewhere. (Of course, in Musk’s case it may come to that if he can’t get 10 million more people to sign up for Twitter Blue.) As it turns out, the Tax Man is launching a new program to crack down on tips received by wait staff in the food and beverage industry. That’s right.

On Friday, Pierre Rutledge, chair of the Black Affairs Advisory Board, issued an apology to Governor DeSantis. Days before, a member of the volunteer board called DeSantis “racist” because the governor rejected an African-American history Advanced Placement course. The College Board removed parts of the course last Wednesday that was opposed by DeSantis. The course will be reevaluated by the Florida Department of Education.DeSantis supported the Department of Education’s decision to remove the history course, because he said it pushed a political agenda. “This course on Black history, what’s one of the lessons about? Queer theory,” DeSantis said.
Biden’s Ballooning Foreign-Policy Blunders 7 replies

Last Friday, just before President Joe Biden left for another of his many long weekends away from the White House, reporters vainly asked him about the Chinese surveillance balloon that had been meandering around in U.S. airspace since Jan. 28. Our commander-in-chief offered no response beyond a smirk and a vacant stare. The “spy balloon,” as it has been dubbed by the media, is a good metaphor for the Biden administration’s foreign policy — lighter than air and potentially dangerous.

The new revelation about congressional oversight on the classified documents saga is just the latest example of how Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has used whistleblowers to shed light on issues inside the FBI.Jordan and other Republicans have previously revealed that FBI whistleblowers have alleged serious flaws in how the bureau has conducted major investigations, including those related to Hunter Biden, the Capitol riot, and parental protests at school board meetings.

Donald Trump is not stupid. His opponents have always underestimated him because of the colloquial way he talks–sounding vastly different than most people in the highly educated class. Not sounding educated, they assume he isn’t and by extension isn’t smart. But in recent weeks Trump has been acting as if he is stupid, and I have to say I am surprised. Trump has been attacking Ron DeSantis on the COVID lockdown issue, arguing that the governor’s reputation as a freedom fighter is unearned. Trump even implies that DeSantis was something of a COVID fascist, while Trump himself was fighting to reopen the American economy. That is a profoundly stupid line of attack.

The pandemic sparked a restlessness in American life, with many families opting to move in search of more space or a lower cost of living. That trend continued in 2022, with hundreds of thousands of people uprooting their lives and moving to new states. But some regions are benefitting from an influx of new residents — a trend that can help those areas grow their economies and expand their tax bases — while others are witnessing a net loss of residents. About 25 U.S. states saw more people move within their boundaries last year, while about 25 states lost residents or were relatively flat,

In the name of “equity,” the Biden administration and state Democrats have declared war on the suburbs: The Biden administration and Democrats in New York, Connecticut and other states are fighting local zoning laws in order to build high-rise apartment buildings with “affordable” units in tree-lined, single-family neighborhoods. All in the name of equity, meaning everyone can live in a tranquil suburb, whether they’ve earned the money to pay for it or not. The Biden administration announced Jan. 19 that it will require all towns across the U.S. to submit “Equity Plans” showing how they will make it possible for low-income people to live there

When it was announced that a promo video for the show would air during the Super Bowl, heads figuratively exploded. Kamala Harris is a living embodiment of the Peter Principle, where people keep getting promoted until they reach jobs for which they are clearly unqualified. More and more Americans think that describes our current vice president. Harris is deeply unpopular with independents, who are essential for electoral success (fewer than one in three voters view her favorably), and she is losing popularity among Democratic Party leaders. They see her ineptitude, listen to her word salads, and watch the polls with dismay. The latest evidence of Harris’ fading position is a sharply critical article in the New York Times, of all places, filled with anonymous disapproval from senior Democrats
