On Sunday afternoon, I got a text from my mother-in-law. She had just seen a news alert that the Federal Aviation Administration and North American Air Defense had temporarily closed the airspace over Lake Michigan. My husband's parents live near the lake and were a bit concerned. “Do I need to go to the basement??” she wrote. She was largely kidding, but at the same time, I think my mother-in-law hit on the unease most of us have felt in recent days, as the United States keeps encountering these unidentified objects in the sky. The object that caused concern over Lake Michigan apparently then floated over the

There has to be a reason that the “big guy” Biden is keeping quiet on the Chinese spy balloons. Could it be that a Biden is on the board of directors of one or more of the Chinese Communist companies that manufactured and are operating those Chinese spy balloons loaded up with US sold parts?

The Biden enterprise needed something to take the heat off the Hunter and Jim investigation. So China stepped up.

A fifty caliber bullet costs less than five dollars. A sidewinder missile costs close to a million dollars. Which weapon does the Pentagon use to shoot down a balloon? The cartoonist Jeff McNelly once drew a cartoon about the Pentagon sending out for bids. The generals wanted a hard-surface intrusion device, usable in all weather conditions with a proposed military designation number of mosaf14d. With proposed costs competitive bidding and joint use by all the services including the Coast Guard, 14 million dollars each was the expected outlay. Pretty reasonable for a missile, you might think. Not quite, 14d is a nail. McNelly was not popular with the military.

Folks, really... asking questions that don't supply good, believable answers can mean several things. 1) your question is flawed. 2) the question is flawed. 3) the entity you ask has no interest in providing you the truth. Stop begging for spoon-fed government/MSM propaganda answers. Surf the net on your own and do some "critical thinking". If you have the courage and stomach for it...

Jim Biden, the younger brother of Joe, was hired to negotiate a secret deal with the Saudi government on behalf of a U.S. construction company because of his family connection with the then-vice president. That’s not a rumor, that’s documented in bombshell affidavits. The more that comes out about Biden, Inc., the more corrupt the Biden family business dealings look. Jim Biden trades on the family name as Hunter Biden does. Jim Biden was selected to negotiate a $140 million settlement in a secret deal between Hill International and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2012. Joe Biden was vice-president and Jim was chosen because Saudi Arabia

There's been a lot of talk among Republicans about the effect a big primary field might have on the 2024 presidential nomination race. The short version is that a big field is thought to benefit former President Donald Trump, who, as in 2016, would not have to win a majority of votes to win — a plurality, and not even a big one, would be enough. On the other hand, a small field, especially a one-on-one matchup with another candidate, say Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), might allow the challenger to defeat Trump. Given that, there are Republican activists in the early voting states who are trying to keep the field small.

From the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration–the public health officials and economists who warned that the government’s response to COVID would be a disaster–comes the Norfolk Declaration, which calls for a COVID-19 Commission to look back at the lessons we have, or at least should have learned from the past 3 years. The authors come from diverse backgrounds, but are unified by one central characteristic: they saw the disaster coming and tried to warn us. For their troubles, they were attacked, slandered, censored, and professionally harmed. That is not their focus, though. Rather they want to salvage something from the disaster. As with a post-crash investigation of an airplane accident,

Democrats and the corporate media have often accused former President Donald Trump of using a propaganda strategy called the “Big Lie” to convince Americans that the 2020 election was stolen. They remind us that Adolf Hitler coined the term in Mein Kampf and that his minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, perfected the technique. Essentially, it involves relentlessly repeating a colossal lie until the public eventually comes to believe it. It is little wonder that the Democrats and the Fourth Estate are so familiar with this strategy — they employ it themselves every election cycle.
Americans Didn't Tune in for State of

Tuesday's State of the Union address sure has gotten attention for the ways in which some Republican members reacted to President Joe Biden's lies, but among the chatter, it's worth wondering if people actually tuned in for the address? Not really, it turns out, given that just 27.3 million people watched, according to data from Nielsen across 16 networks. That's a decline of 29 percent, as is mentioned in Deadline's headline. The Hill mentioned in their headline that the ratings took "a nosedive." Those ratings look even worse when compared to previous years, and the lack of viewers in the demographics that Biden needs support from. As Deadline mentioned:

Joe Biden is running for president again and his second State of the Union address was his campaign manifesto headlined by the notion of "finish the job" as his rallying cry. Most Americans today, however, want Biden to finish up his job and move over for someone else. Clearly, this president has no intention of backing down from an all-out effort to stay in office even as polls show a majority of Democrats want him to stick to one term. First, let’s cover what was not in the speech. Inflation – the nation’s number one problem – got almost no mention.

Remember when we were told that the army of new IRS agents Biden wants to hire was only going to go after billionaires? Good times. If that’s the case, somebody should check to see if Bill Gates and Elon Musk have taken some side gigs slinging hash at a diner somewhere. (Of course, in Musk’s case it may come to that if he can’t get 10 million more people to sign up for Twitter Blue.) As it turns out, the Tax Man is launching a new program to crack down on tips received by wait staff in the food and beverage industry. That’s right.

Last Friday, just before President Joe Biden left for another of his many long weekends away from the White House, reporters vainly asked him about the Chinese surveillance balloon that had been meandering around in U.S. airspace since Jan. 28. Our commander-in-chief offered no response beyond a smirk and a vacant stare. The “spy balloon,” as it has been dubbed by the media, is a good metaphor for the Biden administration’s foreign policy — lighter than air and potentially dangerous.

Since President Trump left office, many of the “trustworthy” media outlets have created a talking point that is now held by a minority, yet noticeable number of Conservative Americans. The belief is “DeSantis is Trump, without the baggage.” This group supported President Trump’s policies and felt he did a tremendous job as president, but now feel the baggage that came with Trump would not be present with Ron DeSantis. Many have taken this a step further and believe this baggage would give DeSantis (or others) a better chance of winning in a general election against the Democrat nominee than President Trump.

ROME — U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres offered his apocalyptic view of the coming climate catastrophe Tuesday, warning the Security Council that rising seas threaten the very existence of “entire countries.” In his doomsday address, the U.N.’s alarmist-in-chief declared that the danger “is especially acute for nearly 900 million people who live in coastal zones at low elevations — that’s one out of ten people on Earth.” “Low-lying communities and entire countries could disappear forever,” Guterres asserted. “We would witness a mass exodus of entire populations on a biblical scale.” “Rising seas are sinking futures,” Guterres intoned with hyperbolic flourish.

There were two things that I missed during Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The first was Kansas City’s game-winning drive, which saw kicker Harrison Butker seal the underdog Chiefs’ 38-35 victory with a last-second field goal. My inattention was unintentional; my daughter, in the throes of a stomach flu that’s currently working its way through the family, decided to decorate our floor as the game came down to the wire. U.S. intelligence officials were tracking the spy balloon that was shot down earlier this month since it lifted off from the south coast of China, U.S. officials said Tuesday. According to U.S. officials, after takeoff, the spy balloon drifted east in the direction of Guam and Hawaii and then went north to Alaska and entered U.S. airspace on Jan. 28. Given the path, it's possible that the balloon was blown off course by weather, but U.S. officials said that once it came south over the continental United States, it was being controlled by China. The tracking of the balloon was first reported by The Washington Post. China has insisted

The infrastructure for living without a smartphone in the West is slowly disappearing. Thanks to societal changes made during the pandemic-induced lockdowns of 2020, many temporary adjustments — QR code menus, digital boarding passes — have become permanent. Nowadays it’s rare to go to a restaurant without grabbing your phone for access to a menu or for ordering takeout. Some concert venues actually require guests to show their tickets from their mobile devices.
