We have the worst border crisis in history, and the Biden administration insists that our southern border is secure. This disconnect between the narrative and reality is the reason why Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is currently facing potential impeachment. Yet, after watching his interview with CNN’s Chris Wallace, it all makes sense. “Our goal is to achieve operational control of the border, to do everything that we can to support our personnel with the resources, the technology, the policies that really advance the security of the border, and do not come at the cost of the values of our country,” Mayorkas told Wallace.

The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, which is investigating the Biden family's business dealings, has asked a former Serbian official for an interview and documents related to Hunter Biden.
The Republican-led committee sent a five-page letter Tuesday to Vuk Jeremić, who served as Serbia's foreign minister and president of the U.N. General Assembly from 2012 to 2013.
"The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating President Biden's connections to certain international and domestic business transactions and practices, including his family and associates who peddled influence to generate millions of dollars for the Biden family," chairman Rep. How is American education going? In at least one blue midwestern state, not well.
Nonprofit research organization Wirepoint has looked into Illinois public schools, and their performance deserves less than an “A+.” Among more than 30 institutions of learning, zero students can read at their respective grade levels.
As for math, across 53 schools, no students are proficient.
The bulk of those underperforming campuses — twenty-two in the case of reading and thirty-three in the case of math — sit within the City of Chicago School District — where taxpayers annually spend between $5,929 and $56,311 per student.
