Trump 2024 Campaign Pledges To Build Missile
Defense Shield: "Peace Through Strength"

Former President Donald Trump introduced a new defense policy plan for his 2024 campaign this week, promising to build "a state-of-the-art, next-generation missile defense shield" to protect the U.S. from hypersonic missiles. "Just as Israel is now protected by the Iron Dome, a dream once thought impossible, America must have an impenetrable dome to protect our people," Trump said. "We have technology that is unsurpassed, but our past leaders haven't really wanted to use it." "Just as I rebuilt our military, especially our nuclear capabilities, I will build a shield to defend America from missile attack. We will have peace through strength."

This should have been done many years ago. We need to protect America first, by building The Wall and this Missile Defense Shield and getting rid of all of the Woke military leaders.

Just finish the wall and we will be forever grateful. Illegal immigrants are a far greater danger to this country than anybody foolish enough to shoot missiles at us,

White House spokesman John Kirby on Tuesday argued it is a “foundational sacred obligation” for military leaders to provide troops and their family members with access to abortion. During a White House briefing on Tuesday, a reporter asked Kirby if the Biden administration’s policy of paying for troops and their family members to travel out of state for abortion is “critical” for military readiness.Kirby responded that since the U.S. military comprised of volunteers, it was a “foundational, sacred obligation” to provide them and their family members with paid travel and time off to get abortions if they were based in states where it is restricted.

Republicans running the House Oversight Committee's investigation into Hunter Biden claim an FBI agent has confirmed allegations that Hunter had been given favorable treatment by investigators. The Committee is looking into whether investigators delving into Hunter Biden's tax affairs and his lying about drug use on a gun permit gave the 53-year-old preferential treatment. Two IRS whistleblowers - one anonymous, the other named Gary Shapley - have claimed that Hunter Biden was treated more leniently than ordinary Americans.

West Palm Beach, Fla.— When student activists assembled in Florida last year for Turning Point Action’s annual summit, many were torn, wrestling with whether former President Donald Trump or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was the Republican Party’s best hope for 2024. One year later, there is no more doubt. Attendees at this year’s meeting booed at even the suggestion of a contested GOP primary. Trump, they overwhelmingly said, is their pick. “Trump, for sure. I don’t think anyone else really has a chance,” said Sky Sanchez, 21, a student from Durham, North Carolina, who was volunteering at the conference with the Tea Party Patriots.

Homes outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have been evacuated after a train carrying hazardous materials derailed early Monday morning. A 40-car CSX freight train operating on Norfolk Southern tracks derailed in Montgomery County around 4:50 a.m., ABC 6 reported. Emergency crews responded to the site of the derailment in the suburban area of Whitemarsh Township. Photos show multiple cars toppled off the tracks. Between 15 and 20 of the cars were carrying hazardous material, which prompted a level 2 hazmat response, Fox 29 reported. There are no known hazards to the public at this time, and the evacuations were a precaution,

Changes to a popular 401(K) tax deduction are set to hit millions of high-earning Americans from next year. Workers over the aged of 50 are entitled to make catch-up contributions to their 401(K)s worth up to $7,500 this year. The annual cap on all contributions is $30,000. But from 2024, those earning over $145,000 will no longer be able to put these catch-up payments into a traditional 401(K). Instead, the money will be only funneled into a Roth IRA account, according to new rules passed through Congress in December. The main difference between a Roth account and a 401(K) pot is that the former is taxed upfront -

Since February, Alabama Republican Tommy Tuberville has been using a “senatorial hold” to block personnel moves by the U.S. military that require Senate confirmation. The media and Democrats are very upset that Tuberville is “waging an unprecedented campaign” and embroiling our vital national defense policy in the culture war. Joe Biden claims that Republicans are “injecting into fundamental foreign policy decisions what in fact is a domestic social debate on social issues is bizarre,” which is “totally irresponsible.”

New York City has embraced a set of controversial policies that push the limits of green experimentation in seeking to reduce emissions from buildings, kitchen appliances, and cars. Critics argue the new policies are likely to be costly and burdensome for the city's millions of residents. New York City has drafted rules to slash carbon emissions from its roughly 50,000 buildings by more than 40% by 2030 and reach net-zero emissions by 2050 — an ambitious goal, especially considering buildings in the city are the source of 70% of its total greenhouse gas emissions.

If, like me, you find the presidential debate format a rather meaningless exercise, you will be astonished at what one-on-one interviews by a skilled interrogator can accomplish. At the Iowa family Leader conference, Tucker Carlson interviewed several leading contenders for president Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis. If the participants thought this was going to be another tongue bath, they were certainly surprised. He asked hard questions and some of their answers exposed their muddled thinking. At least two of them – Asa Hutchinson and Mike Pence -- were clear losers

The supporters of former President Trump are absolutely correct about one thing. If every single Republican pledged their allegiance to him and fell in line he’d win the nomination easily. But he’d also lose the general election, again. He does not receive enough support from outside the traditional Republican and MAGA base to win in 2024. Hillary Clinton beat Trump by roughly 3 million in the popular vote in 2016. While Trump indeed did win the election by taking the required 270 electoral votes, just a few thousand votes in each of the key swing states would have changed that outcome into a Hillary Clinton landslide victory in 2016.

Recently, Arizona Republican Eli Crane was rebuked for referring to “people of color” as “colored people.” That’s a controversy which would, at any other time in the history of the English language, be incomprehensible to a sensible reader. After all, there’s no practical difference in the phrases. In fact, the choice to give preference to the phrase “people of color” is worse than practically useless to an English speaker -- it’s needlessly more burdensome to both the talker and the listener. Consider this formula with any other trait. Would you refer to yourself as a “person of dark hair,” or a “dark-haired person?”
