So where does that migrant entitlement
mentality come from?

As if the cost alone weren't enough to make the millions of illegal migrants brought in by Joe Biden's open borders unpopular here, the ingratitude and entitlement mentality of these illegals now seals the deal. According to National Review: More than 50 migrants camped outside the Watson Hotel in Manhattan in protest on Sunday night as the city sought to move the single male migrants to a new shelter at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal to make space for migrant families. The new shelter holds as many as 1,000 single adult men and provides the same services the migrants had been receiving, city officials told the New York Post.

Hugo Chavez used to encourage them to squat on others' property to fight capitalism. No, really.

This is the REASON for the invasion and has been for MANY years ! People come here for the freebies ! What have we got now, 7 MILLION left over from the Covid debacle who have not gone BACK to work because they can live as good if not better on all of the duplicate, overlapping and in some cases breathtakingly profitable 'support mechanisms' ALREADY IN PLACE and costing billions - it DOES NOT include the tens of thousands that have come over boarder since come-on-in-we-got-plenty-of-everything-you-need-and-it's-all-free-Biden took office !! They, the federal gov't, is going to continue printing money to cover the cost of this so INFLATION IS HERE TO STAY at least until this is slowed or stopped. These are NOT undocumented immigrants or undocumented migrants or any other 'feel good term' you care to use - they are squatters, invaders and COLONISTS! You don't think they are going to leave voluntarily do you ?? This country is being overrun by ILLEGAL BOARDER CROSSINGS and if it isn't stopped or slowed soon there will be no fixing it. The United States I grew up in will be GONE FOREVER ! Think it over.

Trump should remove the "U" in the sign on his hotel replace it with an "A", Making it "Tramp Tower", rent out every room for $500 night , billed to NYC, then get the new residents to protest over the Black Lives Matter graffiti on the street out front as it is now racist against the hispanics living there...take a tax deduction for damages and loss of value, leaving the City and State owing HIM massive refunds at Tax time.

"People come here for the freebies !” It was not always so. I am only three generations removed from immigrants on both sides. In both cases there was a lack of work opportunity in their home countries of Scotland and Switzerland. My Scot great-grandfather worked for two years in the mines before his family could come. My Swiss great-grandmother sold her property in order for them to have enough money to pay their way here and give them a stake. The times were desperate for young men with families. They had to be healthy and self-supporting. They loved our country and taught their families to do the same. We were Americans!

The services are not the same. They had expensive hotel rooms with showers, micro waves and TV's and they are being moved into barracks like living quarters. We don't owe them anything, but move them out of a hotel room and into a barracks and it's easy to understand why they aren't happy.

Let them go back to the hell holes they came from if they're not happy. This uncontrolled invasion is bankrupting us, endangering our citizens, and destroying our cities. I'm pretty sure when my ancestors landed here from Ireland and Scotland, they made their own way without any handouts from the government. If they could not make a go or it or did not have sponsors to support them, they either starved to death or got back on the boat. We do not owe these invaders anything.

the "migrants" are being led by the communist activists within the administration of Captain America, Eric Adams and will be used as a pawn in their plan until they are no longer useful, which is par for the course for the demcommies and the card carrying commies hiding out, in plain sight, within almost every level of our local, state and federal levels of government I believe this was the kind of situation which brought the downfall of the Roman Empire due to the influx of non-Italian, non-Roman citizens through conscription into the Roman military and the capture of slaves, later brought to Italy to serve the Roman aristocracy

some of our posters here have better ideas; however: here are the ones we are looking at: the dimwits at state dept gave el savador, PRI -era mexico etc. tonnes of free everything- possibly for generations, allegedly to keep them from crashing the border night and day, and twice on sunday. there were periods and policies to trim the hand-outs down to essential staples like rice, which were met by screeching ingratitude. where's the coffee and chocolate?? well. they have their own, and brag it's better than ours. and so it is, no good deeds go unpunished.

These "migrants" did not have the courage and ambition to rise up and overthrow the dictatorships in their own countries so I would assume they will not help Americans when we must conduct our own. They think they have lousy food now, wait until the government freebies stop because the government is gone. It's pretty difficult for Biden to deny his role in this illegal invasion when it began on his inauguration day.

My maternal great grandfather arrived at Ellis Island with the clothes on his back, a small suitcase, and a brick of cheese to eat while on the ship from Poland. While on the ship, he learned basic English from others. He took a train to northern Illinois after he landed and linked up with family who were already settled. Within weeks, he opened a tailor shop and made a steady living making men's business suits. He never once mooched off of the government sugar daddy here. And by the way, after he memorized the Pledge of Allegiance, studied the Constitution, and took/passed the citizenship test, he became a registered republican.

My understanding is that a number of opinion surveys have consistently shown that recent migrants from central and south America vote 80% Democ'RAT. That is the key. The obvious 'Rat scheme is to: 1) Flood the country -particularly states that presently vote Republican, but by modest margins- with illegals. 2) Issue driver's licenses to the illegals so that they can "come out from the shadows". 3) Use (abuse) the motor-voter laws to register these illegals to vote when they are issued drivers licenses. My understanding is that in many states, the person getting the license used to have to sign on the form that they were an American citizen in order to be registered to vote. Apparently in many places this signature requirement has been replaced by a small 'box' that they 'check', no signature required. And to go one step further, in some places the 'box' is 'pre-checked' when the form is printed. 4) Democ'RATS sit back and enjoy a permanent voting majority. My understanding is that Political POWER is the only thing that matters to the Democ'RATS. That the open border is controlled on the Mexican side by the drug and smuggling cartels is OK. That the cartels send a bunch of illegals to one area to distract the Border Patrol, then ship tons and tons of illegal drugs across the border at a different point.... well, that's ok too. It's all about Political POWER with the 'Rats.

Let's not leave out all those church groups that help many of these illegals get to the border and then cross it illegally. They then pay, at least for a while, for food, housing etc. The word goes out, "Come to America everything is free". All of these groups advocating for illegals are at least in part funded by religious organizations from church donations. So, the next time that offering plate comes around, question how much of that money is going to fund illegals.

A certain amount of foofaraw came about when FBI bigshots Peter Strzok and Lisa Page drew headlines for their Trump-hating text-messages while in the throes of an extramarital affair. And rightly, most of the attention went to the pair's illegal use of government property and underhanded Borgia-style machinations against the incoming U.S. president. But their openly out there extramarital affair is worth noting, too. Under FBI regulations, adulterous affairs are a firing offense, given that such behavior puts national security at risk and automatically leads to the loss of one's security clearance. President Joe Biden faced mounting pressure Monday to remove Jair Bolsonaro from the country a day after supporters of the former far-right leader stormed Brazil's Congress, Supreme Court and presidential palace. Riot police were deployed to protest camps in Brazil’s capital as the government vowed to prosecute the rioters for the assault on the nation's democracy. The attack, which carried unmistakable echoes of events at the U.S. Capitol two years ago, also turned attention to Florida — where Bolsonaro flew days before his term ended. “Nearly 2 years to the day the US Capitol was attacked by fascists, we see fascist movements abroad attempt to do the same in Brazil,”

Trump has been attacking Ron DeSantis on the COVID lockdown issue, arguing that the governor’s reputation as a freedom fighter is unearned. Trump even implies that DeSantis was something of a COVID fascist, while Trump himself was fighting to reopen the American economy. That is a profoundly stupid line of attack.

WASHINGTON — Outgoing White House chief of staff Ron Klain broke down in tears over and over again Wednesday while handing over power to his successor Jeff Zients — going so far as to praise President Biden as a role model for parenting and Vice President Kamala Harris as a great officemate. “This is the best job I ever had,” the 61-year-old Klain blubbered as he began his remarks at an East Room transition celebration, forcing his 80-year-old boss to supportively rub his shoulder as he regained his composure. In the moments when he wasn’t crying, Klain seemed to confirm that Biden is running for reelection in 2024

For as much as politicians love the clever soundbites they spew to the salivating press, it is downright amazing how they forget that the internet is forever the moment they deliver them. Take former South Carolina Governor and ex-United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, who is expected to officially announce her bid for the White House on Feb. 15. It’s a move Newsmax host Greg Kelly called a “big, big, big mistake” given her previous remarks. (Video)“This is Nikki Haley and she thinks she can be president,” Kelly began. “Wow big, big, big mistake,” he said. “I mean, these career politicians, right? They really stand for nothing,

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has reportedly pulled dissenter Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) from the important Commerce Committee, which could be interpreted as retaliation for challenging his leadership bid. Further lending credibility to the retaliation theory, McConnell also pulled Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) from the Commerce Committee. Lee supported Scott’s bid to oust McConnell at the time. “People told me not to run for Republican Leader against Mitch McConnell. They said I wouldn’t win. I knew it was going to be hard. But we’ve got to start somewhere,” Scott said in an ad released in early January. “We are on the road to woke socialism

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., angrily hit back at congressional Republicans during a raucous speech on the House floor Thursday in response to a vote to boot Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., off the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The New York Democratic lawmaker declared to her fellow members that the GOP was "targeting women of color" with its vote to oust Omar, which Republicans said was due to past antisemitic and anti-American remarks.

Because the vax is set to hit the consumer market and the government will no longer fully subsidize the multinational corporation’s profits, it’s time to move some “safe and effective” product into the private sector. To that end, Pfizer produced a bizarre TV ad featuring, fittingly, convicted felon Martha Stewart. The ad opens in a kitchen with Martha sharpening a samurai sword. “You know that unwelcome guest everyone wishes would just leave already? That’s COVID-19,” she says. [Video] “That’s why I got the new, updated booster designed to help protect against recent omicron variants,” she continues as she points the sword menacingly at the viewer.

The Pentagon is tracking a suspected Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon over the continental United States, a senior defense official said on Thursday. The Pentagon has been tracking the balloon for several days as it made its way over the northern United States, Pentagon spokesman Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said. He added that the US military decided against shooting the balloon down. "The balloon is currently traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic and does not present a military or physical threat to people on the ground," Ryder said.
