Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said Saturday on MSNBC’s “Ayman” that some of the so-called right-wing conservatives in the House of Representatives were “domestic terrorists.”
Anchor Ayman Mohyeldin said, “I know that politicians tried to sound optimistic as much as they can but right now, with the leadership that we see in the House, is there any path forward for police reform in Congress after this later on tragic killing?”
Waters said, “It is the Marjorie Taylor Greene Republican caucus. You heard what McCarthy said. He said that he just loves her and that he is going to do everything he can to protect her

It is a day that could go down in history as the moment humans took their first small step in what will be a giant leap to becoming a multi-planetary species.
Elon Musk's $3 billion (£2.4 billion) Starship – a vehicle that could be a game-changer for long-distance space travel – is now just weeks away from shooting for the stars in what will be a highly-anticipated maiden orbital launch.
On Monday, the 395ft-tall rocket and its accompanying craft achieved a major milestone after being fuelled up and fully stacked for the first time ever, meaning lift-off could happen as early as next month.
So what is Musk's grand vision for Starship,

The Twitter account for the Associated Press apologized for a recent tweet suggesting that "the French" was a "dehumanizing" term, acknowledging that it "caused unintended offense."
The AP official account tweeted Friday morning, "The use of ‘the French’ in this tweet by @AP was inappropriate and has caused unintended offense. An updated tweet is upcoming."
The original tweet that put the AP in hot water with social media users came from the @APStylebook account on Thursday. It suggested doing away with "dehumanizing ‘the’ labels," including "the poor" and, inexplicably, "the French." [Tweet] It read, "We recommend avoiding general and often dehumanizing ‘the’ labels such as the poor, the mentally ill,

In a recent appearance on Fox News, Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, listened while host Sean Hannity listed some of the potential Republican candidates she might have to run against if she decides to seek the White House in 2024. After he named former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, former Secretary of State and former CIA director Mike Pompeo, and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Haley paused and then said with a smile, “Most of them are my friends. … Let the best woman win.”
It was a clever line, but does it hint at

Democrats are proposing giving federal workers an 8.7% pay increase for toiling through the Trump administration and the coronavirus pandemic.
The suggested pay increase for the 2 million federal workers would take effect in 2024, and would come after they received the 4.6% raise this year from President Biden.
“For years now, federal employees have risked their health and safety working on the frontlines of this pandemic,” Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) said in a press release announcing that he and Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) would reintroduce the Federal Adjustment of Income Rates, or FAIR Act.

We get our channels through Google/You Tube TV. I record Jesse Watters and I tried to watch Friday night and this censorship showed up! [screengrab] "Consider before watching The following content has been identified by the YouTube community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences"
I guess their video of the Memphis beating was on the show Friday night and that might have precipitated this, but I have never seen this warning before. Thomas Lifson adds:

A now former police officer in Georgia believes he was pressured into quitting his job because of warnings from his superiors over his views on gay marriage.
Jacob Kersey, 19, resigned from the department in Port Wentworth, just a few miles outside Savannah, after refusing to remove a post on Facebook regarding gay marriage and his Christian faith.
Kersey - who joined the department at a young age in part because he was inspired by how they would 'bring peace' to his 'broken home' growing up - wrote in the post: 'God designed marriage. Marriage refers to Christ and the church. That's why there's no such thing as homosexual marriage.'

Hunter Biden allegedly transformed his father’s Wilmington, Delaware home, where classified documents have been found, into a home office that was central to his overseas business dealings, according to experts and leaked cellphone texts.
This comes as allegations swirl that Hunter Biden used classified materials to profit off business deals involving energy and Ukraine, according to Fox Business. He reportedly emailed his partner in 2014 before Vice President Joe Biden flew to Ukraine.
The president’s son reportedly listed the Wilmington home as his address in the wake of his 2017 divorce from ex-wife Kathleen Buhle. Hunter Biden went so far as to claim that he owned the lakefront mansion

Riots broke out in Memphis and are rapidly spreading through the usual urban areas. The purported rationale is the horrific beating to death in Memphis of Tyre Nichols captured on video and released by the police. As Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) observes, Nichols’ beating was administered by “Black officers in a majority Black city with a Black police chief.”
The officers involved have been criminally charged, but the media to which every Black killed by a cop is just proof that we are still in the Selma, Alabama world of decades ago -- another case of some innocent Black person victimized by racist oppressors.

In October of 1990, the Peninsula Humane Society, a nonprofit animal adoption facility based in San Mateo, shocked the San Francisco Bay Area with a newspaper ad that felt like something out of grindhouse cinema.
Published in the San Francisco Chronicle and other local newspapers, the four-page ad’s central image featured three barrels overflowing with recently euthanized cats, captured in various stages of rigor mortis. The headline read “This is one HELL of a job,” and then in smaller print, “And we couldn’t do it without you.”

According to a story published on Saturday, the scope of Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal may be bigger than previously thought. Sources close to the investigation say in addition to classified documents, the FBI also seized notebooks from Biden’s Wilmington, Del., home, which were reportedly written by Biden while he was vice president.
“The notebooks were seized because Biden’s notes on some of the pages relate to his official business as vice president, including details of his diplomatic engagements during the Obama administration, and may refer to classified information, this same person said,
