Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has introduced a bill aimed at fighting “white supremacy” by attaching criminal charges to certain forms of hate speech.
The Democratic congresswoman introduced the Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023, which aims “to prevent and prosecute white supremacy inspired hate crime and conspiracy to commit white supremacy inspired hate crime.”
The conspiracy addition means people who use hate speech online could face criminal charges under the legislation even if they don’t act on their threats.

It must be nice to be Joe Biden.
When the Justice Department lost patience with Donald Trump, who was storing classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, they launched an unprecedented Hollywood-style raid on the former president's home – complete with 30 federal agents and a comprehensive search of Melania's wardrobe.
But when it turns out that Biden was keeping secret material in his personal office and Delaware garage alongside his prized Corvette -- suddenly it's like Seinfeld's Uncle Leo stealing from the bookstore, 'I'm an old man!'
Spare me.
Where was the raid on Wilmington?

Did the prolonged fight for the Speaker’s gavel create circumstances for change in Washington -- especially in the Republican party? For the first time in over a century, it took 15 rounds of voting, cajoling, compromise, and almost one fistfight to select a Speaker of the House. The MSM gleefully reported on the “Republican clown show,” predicting that the conflict would split the party. They even fantasized that it could result in a Democrat Speaker, in a majority Republican House of Representatives. What a sweet victory that would be. Well, the Republicans didn’t break up, the Democrats didn’t pull off an upset, and the MSM was blind to

We've got to save Democracy, is the left's new talking point, designed to replace the old debunked Russia collusion hoax. Or as Kurt Schlichter said in Townhall, "Democrats Want to Destroy Democracy to Save It."
Democrats brought popcorn onto the floor of the House of Representatives to mock Republicans as they did due diligence in voting for the speaker of the House. Then the Dems even jeered when Rep. Kat Cammack (R) accused them of having alcoholic beverages on the floor in addition to popcorn.
The Democrats/socialists want to make this look like a circus for their media cameras. They ignore the fact that this is what Republican voters wanted their representatives to do. Democrats, by comparison, usually listen only

Christina Bobb, Attorney for President Trump’s 2024 Campaign, was on the War Room this morning to discuss Biden’s classified document crimes and cover-up.
Steve Bannon invited Christina Bobb on the War Room to discuss the Biden’s classified document crimes.
Bannon shared that Bobb is not simply a lawyer, but she is a Marine Corps Major. He also said he didn’t want to take the bait between Trump and Biden’s classified document cases because there’s no comparison.

An Alabama man was acquitted on a charge of obstruction he faced but was convicted on several other charges for his role in the January 6 Capitol riot.
Joshua Black, 46, of Leeds, Alabama, was found guilty of several federal and misdemeanor charges by U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson after a week-long bench trial in Washington, DC. However, Black is the first defendant to be acquitted of obstruction in relation to the January 6 riot, Politico reported.
Before Black entered the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, along with other rioters to protest the certification of the 2020 presidential election, he had been shot in the face

Once again demonstrating his race-baiting prowess, President Joe Biden in a speech on Monday honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, absurdly claimed, in effect, that car insurance is racist —by insisting black people pay higher rates than white people. “No basis for it!”, Pandering Joe™ sternly declared.
During his MLK speech, hosted by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, as reported by Breitbart, Biden went full-metal Biden.
If you live in one of those neighborhoods and you have the same exact car I have in the other neighborhood, you pay more for your insurance than that side. No basis for it! None at all other than you’re black,

The economic facts have changed markedly since the Federal Reserve last met, in mid-December. Not only is inflation decelerating in the context of a slowing economy — the risk of a government debt-ceiling crisis as early as this summer has increased substantially.
We have to hope that at its next meeting, Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, the Fed will take note of these shifts. Maybe then it will change its mind about the need for further interest-rate increases and further large reductions in market liquidity through quantitative tightening.
If not, we should brace ourselves for an unnecessary economic recession and heightened financial-market turbulence.

Former President Donald J. Trump called out the Biden Administration Monday after the White House and Secret Service claimed that there are no guest logs from Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, residence, where his personal attorneys have discovered classified documents.
In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump dubbed Biden’s garage, where classified material was discovered next to his cherished Corvette Stingray last week, “flimsy” and “unsecured” before painting a contrast with Mar-a-Lago.
“Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service.

Conservative radio and TV host Mark Levin cut through the speculation surrounding President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal and instead reviewed the known facts to call out one federal agency in particular which he said, “lied through its teeth.” (Video) One need not be a keen observer to spot the disparity of coverage surrounding the discovery of classified documents from President Barack Obama’s administration at Biden’s former university think tank office and home compared to those raided from President Donald Trump’s Florida residence.
