Mayor Eric Adams and his team are worried a steady flow of migrants to New York City will turn into a flood when a Trump-era immigration order ends next week — with the mayor also expressing growing anxiety that neither Gov. Kathy Hochul nor President Biden have offered a helping hand.
Top City Hall officials – including Office of Emergency Management Commissioner Zach Iscol, Department of Social Services Commissioner Gary Jenkins and City Hall senior adviser Tiffany Raspberry – held a Zoom conference call where Title 42 came up repeatedly, several sources told The Post.

The time to complain was during the Dem primary debate when every candidate supported an open border.

No one helping Texas and Arizona and others either. The prez has abandoned most of the country in favor of more of his rediculous green projects, to hell with the border, inflation, supply chain problems and the people suffering the high cost of groceries. His energy agenda has escalated the cost of heating this Winter that some people may actually freeze, especially the elderly on fixed incomes. No, when it comes to help.. Joe Biden only helps himself. FJB

As it should be. I don’t want my taxes to support the border in anyway shape or fashion.

Hey, Mayor Eric, how do you think the mayors of the southern border towns feel? They are bearing the brunt of the invasion. Not you. You are receiving the collateral illegals. Quit complaining.

Adams is complaining, even Newsom in California is saying they are overwhelmed. Engineering the end of the southern border has been an intentional goal of Biden & the DNC. Everyone knows it.

NYC should forget quality of life or money from tourists avoiding the place as they know it's a no-go zone. Concentrate on how nice it is to have a black corrupt mayor appointing criminals to jobs and that it is a sanctuary city approved by the Libtards.

They don’t understand human/animal behavior - at all. When you spill sugar all over the kitchen you will end up with an army of ants. Actions have consequences. How can they not see that the actions they have taken are in large part responsible for the influx of illegals?

It appears that the sanctuary States that thought they were expressing their pious liberalism assumed that the Feds would reward them with money. Surprise.

Make America Mexico Again. Look forward to taco vendors on every corner and a massive supply of day labor at Home Depot. You can also start getting house keepers and gardeners for pennys on the dollar. Start learning to speak Spanish.

Aw, poor ol' New York.
If NYC is struggling with "immigrant" numbers surging, imagine how they are faring in a small Texas or Arizona town close to the border with Mexico, where the surge has less distance to travel and is likely to be more numerous than the existing townfolk....

Mayor! Call your nearest "Catholic Charities" office... not really charitable and funded by the good old hapless taxpayers of the USA. This is just one, but one of the biggest, of the NGOs making money by the bucketful to bring illegals into the country.

WHine, whine, whine.... NYC is a lot bigger than El Paso, Texas and way bigger than tiny Eagle Pass Texas which seems to be the epicenter of illegal crossings. Yet, neither of these cities gets any help or media attention for their illegal surge. Mayor Adams seems to forget that most illegals pass through these (and other) Texas cities / towns. From the tiniest ranching community to the metro El Paso area, illegals rule the roost and the Biden administration turns a blind eye.

His honor mayor Adams should simply raise the taxes of New York City residents to pay the living expenses for the growing third world poor and uneducated growing population after they arrive in New York City from Biden’s open border. After all New York City residents were pleased as punch to designate their city as a sanctuary city.
