We have newly unsealed documents – including the depositions of Ghislaine Maxwell and one of her victims – revealing new details on the extent of the abuse and victimization that took place by Jeffrey Epstein. Those filings come from Giuffre v. Maxwell, a civil case filed against Maxwell in 2015 in the New York Southern District.
Some of the broader allegations have already been made public. Sarah Ransome, who accused Epstein and Maxwell of abuse that took place during her early 20s, settled a civil lawsuit against them in 2018. Ransome has publicly described some of the abuse. And there have been reports on what transpired at Little St. James, often

Sam Bankman-Fried, the owner of the failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has been denied bail after his arrest in the Bahamas at the request of the U.S. government on Monday.
In a hearing that lasted more than three hours on Tuesday, Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt ruled that Bankman-Fried’s $250,000 bail request would be denied on the basis that Bankman-Fried poses a flight risk because of his access to financial resources.
The judge ordered the 30-year-old to be remanded to a Bahamas correctional facility until Feb. 8, 2023.

A coalition of 15 Republican state attorneys general sent letters to executives at Apple and Google on Tuesday demanding the tech companies correct their age ratings for the Beijing-based video app TikTok.
The app, which has been likened to “digital fentanyl” by congressional lawmakers for its addictive qualities as it afflicts users with harmful content, is currently advertised to users 12 and up on the Apple App Store and 13 and up on the Google Play Store. The attorneys general demand that both tech companies change their ratings to 17-plus for “mature” audiences.
“Parents depend on the accuracy of age ratings,” (snip)“When parents are deceived into letting their kids download TikTok,

Jimmy Kimmel's attack on Elon Musk was about as unfunny as one would expect.
Kimmel said, "Elon Musk seems to be intent on filling the troll hole vacated by Donald Trump. Because yesterday, he wrote ‘My pronouns are Prosecute and Fauci.’ (snip)
Well, when it comes to terrible jokes, Kimmel is an expert.
That pronoun thing is such "small-minded, lowest-common denominator garbage" that Kimmel indilged in it.
But there is a mustard seed of truth in his statement. Musk has replaced Trump as a surrogate for real Americans who are tired of being screwed by the federal government and mocked by the media. He is not a conservative.

Hunter Biden’s friend and lawyer Kevin Morris was blunt in laying out his thoughts at a strategy session last September on an expected onslaught of investigations by House Republicans: It was crucial, Morris suggested, for Hunter Biden’s camp to be more aggressive.
MorrisOsnip) described defamation lawsuits the team could pursue against the presidential son’s critics, including Fox News, Eric Trump and Rudy Giuliani. He outlined extensive research on two potential witnesses against Hunter Biden — a spurned business partner named Tony Bobulinski and a computer repairman named John Paul Mac Isaac.
At one point, Hunter Biden himself happened to call into the meeting, connecting briefly by video to add his own thoughts.

Just when you thought our politics could not get more poisonous, a recent meeting in California suggests the past is mere prelude. The Washington Post, which revealed the powwow, described it as Biden family “allies” planning an offensive to blunt any investigation into the Bidens’ alleged multimillion-dollar influence-peddling schemes.
Republicans will see it more like the gathering of the Legion of (Democratic) Doom. Some of the most controversial political operatives are involved in the all-hands-on-deck effort to protect the Bidens.
The California meeting’s host was none other than Hunter Biden’s friend, agent and lawyer Kevin Morris. After Hunter was placed under investigation for, among other possible charges, tax evasion, Morris reportedly paid

I’m not going to write extensively about this because I respect your intellectual ability to see the obvious. Questions have been raised about why the Twitter File releases appear to have been structured in a fashion to protect government interests.
Well, the new Bari Weiss website that was set up to launch as an exclusive outcome of the Twitter File release, includes a current contributor and former 2020 control officer of the DOJ who would have facilitated the DHS/FBI contact with social media; the stuff that is transparently missing from the Twitter File releases.Yes, former AG Bill Barr is a content partner with Twitter File narrative engineer Bari Weiss.

Former House Intelligence Committee lead investigator Kash Patel appeared on Steve Bannon’s podcast to discuss the Twitter Files. {Direct Rumble Link} Within the interview Mr. Patel asks the obvious question: Why are we not seeing the document trail where the FBI is making contact with Twitter?
The contacts are noted within the Twitter File release, but the specific methods, people and documents or email requests from the U.S. government into Twitter are not being released. Kash Patel asks Elon Musk to release these documents and asks why are we not seeing them? WATCH:

The fifth installment of the Twitter Files release drops today courtesy of Ms. Bari Weiss [READ HERE]. (snip)The Twitter executives justified their actions by echo-chambering a belief that President Trump was tweeting “coded messages,” the secret transmission of thoughts that can only be received by those wearing red hats, tuned to a specific psychological frequency. As Weiss notes: “Less than 90 minutes after Twitter employees had determined that Trump’s tweets were not in violation of Twitter policy, Vijaya Gadde—Twitter’s Head of Legal, Policy, and Trust—asked whether it could, in fact, be “coded incitement to further violence.”
