Boyden Gray & Associates filed a lawsuit in June on behalf of three doctors who allege that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) illegally interfered with their doctor–patient relationships, resulting in harm. They also claim that the FDA broke the law when the agency issued statements prohibiting the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19.
In response to the lawsuit, lawyers for the FDA claimed that its guidance for people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation; as such, they weren’t mandating against it.
(snip)Dr. Scott Atlas, a senior fellow in health care policy at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, confirmed that the FDA did, indeed,

The major pharmacies definitely took it as an order. There was article after article of people talking about being refused ivermectin at their local pharmacy in spite of having a doctor's prescription.

During the Fall of 2021, a Public Service Announcement on TV here in Pennsylvania (not certain as to the source, may have been th Pennsylvania Department of Health)
showed pigs running up to their trough, and the message was Ivermectin is for animals. not people.
Anyone with any medical knowledge would have known that was an outrageous lie. Ivermectin has saved hundreds of thousands of juman lives, and its inventor received the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
And anyone with advanced medical knowledge would know why Ivermectin might work on the Kung Flu virus. A virus does not contain a coating like that of bacteria. Bacteria coatings can be penetrated by the appropriate antibiotic. Kung Flu virus cell protein coating cannot..
Ivermectin attcks the protein coating on the Kung Flu virus.

A doctor I know refuses to discuss ivermectin in any way. Personal experience: started ivermectin on day 1 of covid-like symptoms. I was not tested so don't know if it was covid or a common cold. On Day 5 I was completely symptom free. Yes, I will take it for covid and I will take it for a common cold. It knocked at least 3 days off recovery from common cold if it was that.

Of course they are. They killed hundreds of thousands of Americans with this hideous, fraudulent, lying, counter-factual order, and now that people are discovering the truth, they try to rewrite history.

As a critical-path element in the first global genocide in human history, the thoughtlessly coercive reaction of the medical and pharmaceutical industries to the government's dictats on acceptable treatments for Covid 19 comprise a stellar example of group think in action.

Fauci, Brix, the FDA, CDC, and anyone else responsible for the COVID debacle will be using some very creative linguistic gymnastics to explain away their responsibility for what they did during Covid. They all were infected by the political power bug and that spread like wildfire through these agencies faster than Covid did. Covid became a political disease and treatments, vaccines, and patients were all viewed through a political lense. If 2020 had not been an election year, the handling of Covid by the power hungry bureaucrats and liberal media would have been completely different.

This is going to be hard to do for the FDA since all my doctors were told in writing to NOT prescribe HCQ nor Ivermectin under threat of losing their licenses.

AAPS, the Association of American Physicians and s Surgeons, as usual is far ahead of the curve on the covid discussion, in the AAPSNews November 2022. It discusses, among other things, the reluctance of many physicians to resist the Government approved covid-vaccine advice and conclusions. It quotes one person who feels that she is “living in an Orwellian twilight zone in the U.S., as she is now experiencing the Soviet legacy of censorship here.” AAPS is perhaps the only association courageous enough to counter the majority of “go along to get along” medical associations and physicians

Both CVS and Rite Aid refused to fill a legitimate prescription I had for Ivermectin.

I had no trouble getting ivermectin at Walmart pharmacy. A friend was told that another pharmacy, IIRC it was a CVS, so he took it to another pharmacy and they filled it.
FDA and CDC are evil.
