If Marriage Can Mean Anything, It Will
Soon Mean Nothing

No matter how you define “marriage,” there is zero respect for it in the so-called Respect for Marriage Act.
You may believe it serves to federally codify the Supreme Court’s Obergefell decision that rejected marriage as a male-female union. Maybe it would do so temporarily. But that’s not the endgame.
If you’re paying attention, you can see that the Senate’s recent 62-37 vote for cloture on HR 8404 puts us one step closer to abolishing state recognition of marriage entirely. That’s where this train is headed.
This will happen the same way such things always happen — through a demonization campaign that frames skeptics as bigots who are guilty of discrimination.

The many Senate RINO'S also voted for the confirmation of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro "Monster" Mayorkas. The RINO'S want YOU to forget about that.

1984 on steroids! Buckle up, it is just the continuing acceleration of our descent into the lower regions of Hades. PS - if "racism" can mean whatever the user wishes, doesn't it also become meaningless?

Congress can pass as many laws demanding respect as they want, But respect is earned not pushed onto people by passing laws.

Remember when they (Biden was the first) started pushing homosexual marriage and we here all predicted this?

I was at a luncheon today and I told friends----You are all younger than me, I am 80 years old, I may not see this, but you will one day see a priest arrested for refusing to perform a marriage ceremony for a same sex couple.

Marriage is a sacrament bestowed to us by God. Anything else is a civil union. I wish politicians and journalists would recognize the difference.

The family is God ordained and that's why it's been the number one target of Satan since the Garden of Eden. It sure looks like we're at the end game for Lucifer's plans. Speaking in modern terms, our current situation found its "genesis" in the no-fault divorce laws of the 1960's, sold to society as a "good" for "liberating" women from "abusive" husbands. That dandy little nugget of naughty also severed fathers from the family home, and the raising of their sons and daughters. Not content with the current rate of destruction, our overlords want control over those who have withstood the onslaught, and outright nullify the religious concept of marriage upon which the civil law was originally based; thereby nullifying all family blood ties and religious traditions. All those things that make us children of the earth and Children of God.
Where once casual co-habitation was a rebellious act; will we see chaste courtship and a secret religious wedding/marriage become the new counter-culture statement?

Government by decree. It's not even a democracy. Every state that passed sanctity of marriage referendums had them overturned by some black-robed liberal. Now this. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

I wonder if God is considering doing that Armageddon thing, wiping the slate clean and starting all over again? We are clearly FUBAR at this point and no longer salvageable.

Destroying the legitimate concept of marriage would certainly be in keeping with the, leftist, progressive, and social Democrat long-term plan to do away with the concept of nuclear family groups and designate every common American as part of one big pile of humans controlled by some sort of political village collective.

A male co-worker, a Canadian citizen about 20 years younger than me" referred to my husband as "my partner." I was stunned for only a moment but then my words came out quickly, "He's not my partner, he is my husband. I'm not a homosexual." He laughed and said was crazy or something. We joke around a lot but I was not joking this time. I mean, have me lost our right to call a husband a husband? I'm proud I have a really good husband and I'm not going to call him my partner.

Marriage is a Sacrament or, at very least, a Sacramental. God has joined a man and a woman together until death parts them (barring the ONE grounds for divorce). What the State says is mere flapdoodle. I do not care.
