I really don't understand these people. They destroyed the farms of California's Central Valley over a small fish, and the logging industry in the Northwest over the spotted owl. While they promote, wind farms and solar farms that kill birds of prey, bats and desert species. Now a new dilemma. They need tons of Lithium for their EV batteries and but this tiny wild flower is in the way. Who will prevail?

1, there's no dilemma for them. They don't understand that lithium and other things required for most green stuff has to be mined. They never suffer from cognitive dissonance.

How do they know that it doesn’t grow anywhere else in the world? I recall when “the king’s mullet ponds" on the Kona Coast of the Big Island in Hawaii were a stumbling block in the development of a major hotel and golf course complex. Supposedly the ponds were home to rare shrimp that only were found there and would be lost forever. One morning new “ponds” were bulldozed in another location along the coast. Within virtually no time they were full of the same rare shrimp. That roadblock crumbled and the project proceeded to completion. Initially a Hyatt resort, it is now the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Democrat Adam Frisch has conceded to Rep. Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District in what shaped up to be a surprisingly competitive race in an otherwise blue district that was likely to head into a runoff. (Snip) “The voters have spoken and while we show great progress, I remain down by a few hundred votes. This small margin triggers an automatic recount in Colorado’s election system,” Frisch said. “We are not asking for this recount … The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small. Very very small. It would be disingenuous and

Reporting of election results resumed Thursday in the contentious race for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District between incumbent Lauren Boebert (R-Silt) and Democratic challenger Adam Frisch of Aspen. Over a week after Election Day and with almost all of the counties reporting results in District 3 as of 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Boebert was still leading over Frisch, but by a slimmer margin. The latest count had Frisch trailing by 551 votes, but the tally was continually updating as counties reported. In the last batch of Pueblo County votes reported Thursday afternoon, Frisch netted 123 votes out of 914 ballots from rectified
