Former President Barack Obama criticized Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake during a speech in Phoenix on Wednesday. ”This isn’t a reality show. If Kari Lake is your governor, we know what she’ll be focused on — because Donald Trump told us,” Obama said, while campaigning for the Democratic slate of statewide candidates. “What’s the worst that could happen?” The former president also criticized Lake’s background as a local news anchor. “Listen, if we hadn’t just elected somebody whose main qualification was being on TV, you could see maybe giving it a shot,” Obama said, taking a dig at both Lake and Trump. Obama decided to visit the Grand Canyon state in an effort

Let's see. Obama bought a house in Nantucket and put in a propane tank which costs him $75,000 to fill. Wonder why he did that? He also has a house in Hawaii and one in Chicago and one in DC. He travels on private jets to all of his houses as does his family who live in CA and who knows where Michelle lives. She spends a lot of time in NYC with the celebrities. How dare he tell us how to vote in our states!!!!

Sacramento, California - Northern California officials are looking into the possibility that a meteorite destroyed a home in Nevada County Friday night. The house caught fire after several witnesses described a bright ball of light falling from the sky. It's quiet in the secluded area of Nevada County where there are rolling hills where cattle graze. Where nothing happens. "People around here are multigenerational cattle farmers or ranchers," said Dustin Procita, whose home was struck by a meteor. "Wide open spaces, This was kind of a farm cattle ranch area and not much around it," said Captain Josh Miller, with the Penn Valley Fire Department. Until Friday night.

Miami - Former President Donald Trump held back from criticizing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis during a rally in Miami on Sunday, saying that DeSantis should be reelected even as 2024 tensions between the two are spilling over into the public. His pivot came a day after the former president publicly chided DeSantis during a rally in Pennsylvania, calling him “Ron DeSanctimonious.” It was one of the most direct shots yet Trump took at the governor — a likely 2024 rival if both men run for the Republican nomination for president. It was Trump’s first attempt at branding the Florida governor with one of his well-known nicknames.

Conservative commentators who are typically Donald Trump's allies turned on the former president after he went after Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Saturday. Trump mocked DeSantis as "Ron DeSanctimonious" while discussing the 2024 Republican presidential primary at a rally in Pennsylvania. The pair is widely considered to be the top contenders for the Republican nomination, though DeSantis has offered no indication he intends to run. Commentators called out Trump for creating division in the ranks just three days before the midterm elections. "DeSantis is an extremely effective conservative governor who has had real policy wins and real cultural wins.

In the last days before the election, we’ve been seeing an uptick in violence and threats from folks from people on the left against people on the right over campaigns and the election. We reported on the violence against New Hampshire state Senate candidate Lou Garguilo, who said that he had a truck drive at him and his supporters, someone threw a coffee at him, and another person threw a power tool battery at his wife’s head. There was another incident a few days ago. Scott Lennox was arrested after allegedly threatening Darren Bailey, the Republican gubernatorial candidate in Illinois, in a voicemail.

In a preview of a potential Republican presidential primary showdown, Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis will hold dueling Florida rallies on Sunday as the two men battle for supremacy of the Sunshine State and the heart of the GOP. The former president will welcome supporters in Miami, the third stop in a four-city tour that has effectively made Trump a leading player in his party's fight for control of Congress. Meanwhile, the Florida governor is headlining his own events in three counties on the state's opposite coast -- Hillsborough, Sarasota and Lee -- steering far clear of Trump as he seeks to close out his bid for a second term.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been instructive for much of the world in surprising ways. Chief among the facts that have been revealed is the reality that Russia’s military, formerly considered to be a superpower on par with that of the United States, was actually falling apart from the inside and is really only a shell of its former self. Nearly everyone expected the Kremlin to blast into Kyiv in a week or two and eliminate the Ukrainian government. Instead, the Russians have arguably had their butts kicked by a hastily assembled and somewhat ragtag army comprised of many civilians with no combat experience. (Granted, the metric

President Joe Biden told a climate activist on Sunday he would not allow any new drilling in the United States, just days after he complained that oil companies are not drilling enough. “No more drilling. There is no more drilling,” Biden said, speaking to a climate activist as he finished up a rally in New York for Gov. The activist responded to Biden by noting there is still offshore drilling in the Antarctic and off of the Gulf of Mexico. “That was before

What in the world just happened? That’s the big question after an event President Joe Biden held on Sunday evening with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. Democrats have been rushing to help rescue Hochul following Republican candidate Lee Zeldin’s meteoric rise in the polls. New York, a deep blue state, is not supposed to be in play. The fact that it is so close says nothing good about Democrat chances come election night. I could write a whole other article on the insulting, tone-deaf things Hochul said at the “rally,” but really, I can’t just ignore this. Seriously, what is this?

The declaration follows a promise he made last month that he will “look into” one-sided censorship during the 2022 midterm election season. “I will look into this,” he tweeted in response to a similar tweet from Fitton. “Twitter should be even-handed, favoring neither side.”

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton has decided that he won’t run for president in 2024 — making him the first big-name Republican to step aside as former President Donald Trump and others make moves toward running. The senator has been reaching out to donors, supporters and senior Republicans over the last few days to inform them of his plans, according to two people familiar with his deliberations. Cotton has attributed his decision to family concerns, saying that a national campaign would take him away from his two young sons, who are seven and five years old.

I guess it was just a matter of time, but doing it three days before the mid-terms seems less than ideal. Donald Trump held a rally in Pennslyvania tonight, but as usual, the candidates running for office were an afterthought. Instead, the former president spent the majority of the time talking about himself. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s a Trump rally after all, and to be sure, they can be very entertaining. Unfortunately, instead of some of the good things he said making news, there’s currently just one clip going gangbusters on Saturday night. That would be this one where Trump engaged in friendly fire by taking

Ron DeSantis is the latest politician to fall victim to one of Trump’s famous nicknames. Former President Barack Obama insisted Saturday that Pennsylvania Lt. Gov John Fetterman was fit to serve in the US Senate despite the lingering effects of a stroke suffered in May. Fetterman is facing Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz in a tight contest for the Keystone state’s open Senate seat. “John’s stroke did not change who he is, it didn’t change what he cares about, it didn’t change his values, his heart, his fight,” Obama said during a rally in Pittsburgh. “It doesn’t change who he will represent when he gets to the United States Senate. He’ll represent you. And that’s what you deserve.”

The Canadian healthcare system is experiencing an acute shortage of basic painkillers, particularly acetaminophen and ibuprofen, which are commonly used to relieve pain and fever in children during flu season. Canada’s Association of Medical Assistance in Dying Assessors and Providers (CAMAP) chose this perhaps awkward moment to roll out a webinar for healthcare professionals that advised them to offer assisted suicide to their suffering patients. As Canada’s National Post noted, doctors around the world are normally “explicitly prohibited or strongly discouraged” from bringing up the subject of euthanasia, even in jurisdictions where assisted suicide is legal. Beginning with a “guidance document” published in 2019, CAMAP asserted that, on the contrary,
