In Arizona the race is very tight! Kelly currently leads Masters in polling data by just a thin margin. With one week before the midterm elections, Fox News’ Power Rankings put the Arizona Senate race as a toss-up. The Cook Political Report adjusted its rating in the race from “Lean Democrat” to a toss-up, suggesting the GOP’s chances are improving in a crucial race that could determine which party takes control of the Senate this fall. The rating change comes “amid a spate of tightening private polling that has left Democrats worried about one of their strongest incumbents,” Cook Political Report analyst Jessica Taylor wrote. Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake pushed back Wednesday against a Fox News poll finding nearly half of respondents believe she is “too extreme.”
The poll, conducted along with Beacon Research and Shaw & Company, found 47% of respondents are concerned that Lake’s views are “too extreme,” while 42% hold the view about her opponent, Democrat Katie Hobbs. Over half of the participants, 51%, do not or only somewhat believe Lake is “too extreme.” The poll surveyed 1,003 randomly selected Arizona voters between Oct. 26-30 with a +/- 3% margin of error.

Kanye West paid a settlement to a former employee after complaints that the disgraced rap superstar praised Adolf Hitler in business meetings, a report said on Wednesday.
According to documents reviewed by NBC News, West, who now goes by Ye, paid the former worker who claimed the musician complimented Hitler or Nazis. West denied the claims in the settlement, the outlet reported.
Multiple people who worked with West or dealt with him in professional settings over the last five years told NBC News that he brought up conspiracy theories about Jewish people and spoke positively about the disgraced Nazi dictator.
We’re already seeing an example of either gross negligence or deliberate tomfoolery regarding early voting.
This morning we received a video from California where we can see that a voter in Woodland Hills finds both keys to the ballot drop box in the locks when dropping off the ballot. The voter did the right thing and called it in, an hour + later the keys were still in the same spot.

An antisemitism watchdog is slamming Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., for showing her "true colors" in calling out the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a lobbying group that promotes the U.S.-Israel alliance, for actively opposing a democratic socialist candidate in Pennsylvania.
According to a new Federal Election Commission filing, AIPAC's United Democracy Project super PAC on Saturday spent $78,683 on direct mail opposing Democratic House candidate Summer Lee, an AOC-endorsed progressive who is running against Republican Mike Doyle in Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District, which is currently held by a retiring Democrat also named Mike Doyle.
Republican Herschel Walker has a one-point edge over incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) in the battleground race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, according to a poll published Monday.
The poll, conducted by the University of Georgia and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia’s largest newspaper, found Walker at 46 percent, Warnock at 45 percent, and libertarian candidate Chase Oliver at five percent.

The D.C. Council is expected to take the first of two votes Tuesday on a massive rewrite of its criminal code. If passed, the bill would eliminate most mandatory minimum sentences, allow for jury trials in almost all misdemeanor cases and reduce the maximum penalties for offenses such as burglaries, carjackings and robberies.
Assume that there’ll be a lot more burglaries, carjackings and robberies.

Liz Cheney praised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a "tremendous leader" during an interview on Tuesday, just over a week before the Midterm Elections when Cheney’s replacement will be selected. "I want to say a word about Speaker Pelosi. Everyone knows she is a liberal from San Francisco [and] I am a conservative from Wyoming, there are many, many issues, maybe most issues, on which we disagree. But I think that she is a tremendous leader," Cheney said at the City Club in Cleveland with PBS’s Judy Woodruff.

Apparently, the San Francisco home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi has real time CCTV security remotely monitored by the Capitol Hill Police.
However, as the story is told, during the attack on Paul Pelosi, no one was watching the CCTV monitors. But it does appear there is a recording.(snip)According to sources, an officer was monitoring the feeds and saw police lights on a dark street outside the Pelosi’s residence. When going through surveillance footage, the officer saw the alleged attack on Oct. 28, when DePape allegedly struck Paul Pelosi, people briefed on the incident said, according to the report.
