There are now no fewer than two–and possibly three–investigations taking place into the attack on Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Officials claim to want to quell the speculation about the attack on Pelosi’s husband, but they could clear a few things up by releasing the actual 9-1-1 call and police body cam video. Instead, local police, Capitol Police, and the FBI say “we’re not revealing any other details at this time.” Law enforcement has the perp dead-to-rights attacking Paul Pelosi, and two cops are witnesses, so what’s being protected, exactly? Earlier in the day, I warned readers that Biden was set to make Wednesday night about democracy. Well, I watched Custard’s Last Stand. On the upside, I need to lose a little weight and now I have no appetite. I thought I would address my reaction to the ersatz commander-in-chief:

A Border Patrol union fired back at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on Wednesday after the left-wing organization condemned moves by agents to deal with illegal migrants who had allegedly assaulted them.
"We read this morning that the ACLU is upset that BP agents have the audacity to defend themselves," the National Border Patrol Council tweeted.
"We have a response for them. Go to hell."
The union was responding after the ACLU expressed outrage over an incident that took place Monday and was partially caught on camera. The group of Venezuelan migrants illegally crossing into El Paso, Texas, as they waved the enormous flag.

Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball also has the Ohio Senate Race leaning Republican, as does Decision Desk HQ. There is nothing that Democrats hate more than powerful women who are not hideous crones or castrating shrews, especially since castration – particularly of vulnerable minors – has become a key component of the Democrat platform. What’s odd is that in 2022, the Democrats have chosen to run a bunch of women who are pretty much archetypes of liberal harridans – fussy know-it-alls, passive-aggressive HR managers, ancient pinkos, and bitter man-haters. The D.C. Council is expected to take the first of two votes Tuesday on a massive rewrite of its criminal code. If passed, the bill would eliminate most mandatory minimum sentences, allow for jury trials in almost all misdemeanor cases and reduce the maximum penalties for offenses such as burglaries, carjackings and robberies.
Assume that there’ll be a lot more burglaries, carjackings and robberies.

David DePape pleaded not guilty Tuesday to all charges in his first court appearance on Tuesday. DePape pleaded not guilty to the numerous charges against him in the alleged Paul Pelosi attack on Friday morning.
DePape appeared in court with a sling on his arm. He was not shackled for some reason.
