Who are the political geniuses who green-lighted President Joe Biden’s recent episode of agitprop? White House communicators labeled it "Remarks on Historic Deficit Reduction." It was really the Democrat Party’s script for the election’s closing weeks. As a Republican, I welcome the president’s 13-minute muddle of fabrication, misdirection, and self-delusion. However, I’m mystified that someone who’s been in politics for 52 years like Biden could be so tone-deaf, out-of-touch, and wrong in picking a closing argument for his party in a midterm where Democrats already face big hurdles. At this point, it would save everyone time if Democrats could simply point to a policy agenda item that isn’t going to save democracy — if such a thing exists.

Tuesday night’s debates were an unmitigated disaster for Democrats across the board.
In Michigan, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer resorted to misrepresenting her COVID record when pressed ever so slightly on the issue of school closures. Over in New York, Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul floundered when confronted about her state’s rising crime rates. And in Pennsylvania, Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman, who suffered a stroke earlier this year, struggled to put together a coherent thought.
Each of these candidates held comfortable leads over their Republican opponents until very recently.

Students of military history understand that the real bloodletting starts when the losing side breaks ranks after its formations disintegrate and the cavalry sweeps in to mow down the fleeing survivors. It’s every man for himself, and the best the defeated individuals who were once part of cohesive units can hope for is not to end up one of the bodies left strewn across the battlefield. This is when the victor runs up the score. This is when the vast majority of casualties happen. This is a rout. I can recall the Trump administration being full of content as a writer for a conservative news site and commentary. Because someone was always worrying about the past president, there was always something to talk about. I was worried about Joe Biden’s inauguration, as it was too boring.
What content can a nearly 80-year-old man offer? Biden’s boon would be a huge boon, and I was wrong. Biden has been an absolute goldmine and again provided more food for thought for those who prefer a president who can communicate.

Governor, and Dr. Oz, his Republican challenger, will face off without a live audience. In an unusual twist, the Fetterman campaign is lowering expectations before the debates happens.Fetterman, once expected to trounce Oz in the race to be Pennsylvania’s next senator, now runs as though he is the underdog. Since he suffered a serious stroke, his ability to serve in the Senate has been called into question. All polls still show Fetterman ahead of Oz, though only just barely.
Perhaps that time Hillary Clinton wandered the woods alone with a bottle of wine after the 2016 election should have been seen as a red flag.
The twice-defeated presidential candidate and darling of the national press is back, and she’s crazier than ever. In what can only be described as a bizarre release, Clinton put out a video directly claiming that “right-wing extremists” have a “plan to literally steal the next presidential election.”

The first thing to note here is that you don’t have to “steal” something if you win it in the first place.
Two weeks before the most important off-year elections in the history of the nation isn’t a good time for Democrats to realize that the narrative that they’ve been relentlessly pushing has been a complete failure, but that’s the reality for a party that bet everything on portraying the January 6, 2021 chaos at the Capitol as a serious effort to overthrow “democracy” and is only now beginning to realize that voters could care less.
The unwelcome intrusion of reality into the bubble inhabited by the coastal cultural and political elite isn’t sitting well with many, including MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough who was flummoxed by the responses of a focus group
