Woke Media Fail: Sacheen Littlefeather's
Sisters Claim Activist Lied About Being
Native American

This  year, Hollywood and the news media took a knee for Sacheen Littlefeather. Woke news outlets including NPR, the New York Times, and Variety ran glowing articles identifying her as a Native American who was unjustly ridiculed and shunned by the industry when she infamously rejected Marlon Brando’s Oscar for The Godfather in 1973. It culminated in August when the Academy publicly apologized to her. There was just one problem. According to her biological sisters, Sacheen Littlefeather, who died earlier this month at 75, wasn’t Native American. Her family has no Indian ancestry they could find. Nor did she grow up with a violent and abusive father

How hard would it have been to confirm her identity before repeating her self-serving, made up narrative? The MSM and Hollywood let all of us down when they rush to report claims that paint the US and ordinary Americans as deeply flawed when compared to other nations and cultures. There is no excuse for the sloppy reporting here, that could have and should have been corrected decades ago.

But she was so sincere! The dominant Western TV series, from 1955 to 1975 or thereabouts, was Gunsmoke, starring James Arness as Matt Dillon, Marshal in Dodge city, Kansas, set in the 1870s.. About 1/3 of the episodes dealt with Indians, and while the townspeople were often against the redskins, Matt Dillon was always respectful of the Indian traditions, spoke their language(s) protected them when he could.Burt Reynolds was cast as a halfbreed Commanche, Quint Esper, a killer of Whites, and was protected by Matt Dillon - mentored, in a way,. It would have been nice if the fake Indian had at least given a shoutout to Gunsmoke for their fair treatment of Indians. As an aside, I get a big kick out of seeing reruns, with future stars playing interesting roles on Gunsmoke. They pop up in various episodes. Carroll O'Connor, Leonard Nimoy, Edward Asner, George Kennedy, Goober are just a few. And how great was it to see Miss Kitty shoot and kill Bette Davis!

Yep. Another 'Lie-a-watha' harpy; fake as a cigar store Indian. BTW, it had been known for decades that Marie Louise Cruz (a.k.a. 'Sachem Littlefeather') was a phony even after her stunt at the 1973 Oscars. This article is revealing in that the root of her nihilism appears to be daddy issues. BTW, the 'noble savage' is a complete lie of the left meant to trigger white liberal guilt. Just like 'Sachem Littlefeather', the concept is a complete fabrication. The original slogan, "Better dead than red" is grounded in the bloody history of all so-called 'Native Americans'. They caused massive damage to their own environments, practiced slavery, and their conduct against their fellow man, both inter-tribal and against European settlers, during war was brutal, unforgiving, and despicable, even by Western standards.

#19. Yes I saw them. Enjoyed many of Brando's movies. But the only thing I am indebted to him for is turning over picking up his Oscar to Ms. Feather. Playboy got ahold of some old photos she had posed for and published them. She appeared to be a very healthy woman. #4. One of my favorite episodes of Gunsmoke had Angie Dickinson playing an Injun sqaw who was married to a prairie type. The plot was the hotel didn't want Injuns staying there. If I owned a hotel in Dodge City I would have had a rule that any woman who looks like Angie Dickinson can stay free of charge.

Elon Musk ordered company-wide layoffs at Twitter on Saturday, according to a report from The New York Times. It’s unclear how many workers will be affected by the purported job cuts, but sources tell the NYT that some departments will be affected more than others. Previous reports indicate Musk wants to cut down on Twitter’s workforce by 75 percent, although he reportedly told employees otherwise when he arrived at the company’s headquarters carrying an actual sink on Wednesday. Twitter currently has about 7,500 staff members, and as noted by the Times, some managers have been asked to come up with lists of employees to let go.

The increased cost of living is taking its toll on seniors in the United States. Persistently high inflation has caused essentials such as food, gasoline and home utilities to eat into Americans’ paychecks. And the demand for housing, an issue predating the pandemic, has only increased, making it more difficult to secure affordable living spaces. But the economic squeeze in the United States has been felt more acutely by seniors who are on fixed incomes and are looking to age in place. Older adults are facing uncertainty amid major life changes, and like millions of others, they are again looking for roommates to split costs.
