Oh, nooooo! She is one performer that I really enjoyed over the years. I had the chance to see her in a play on Broadway about ten years ago. The play was lousy, but I just wanted to see her perform. She was wonderful. RIP. Thank you for doing what you did best: entertain.

Goodbye Little Yellow Bird. I saw her perform many times on Broadway. She was a marvel and a riot in Sweeney Todd - - bringing down the house over and over again. Goodbye little yellow bird I'd rather brave the cold On a leafless tree Than a prisoner be In a cage of gold Wise freedom-loving words. RIP, Angela.

As a teenager she starred in Gaslight (1944) and The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945). Ms. Lansbury has been a top rate actor for seemingly forever. May she rest in peace. Great entertainer.

It always struck me how relatively ageless Angela Lansbury came across on the screen after all of those decades. —-Not that she was Dorian Gray incarnate (the movie of which she co-starred in 1945). Yes, just coincidence. RIP

A real sweetheart with a timeless presence. I recently watched Mrs. 'arris Goes to Paris - such a delight and so much better than the new version. Ramona (the Pest)

Never heard a negative thing about Ms. Lansbury, no scandal, nothing unseemly. We enjoy her in "Murder, Shé Wrote," on daily on the Hallmark Channel. There aren't many programs one can watch multiple times and really enjoy them, especially a nice respite from most of the grimy stuff available, including the news. So, #2, we can't really say RIP to Jessica Fletcher! Take heart, she lives on! Thanks, Angela Lansbury. Rest in peace.

I too have been enjoying Angela in 'Murder She Wrote' each evening for the past couple weeks. On season three now. I used to watch it when it was first on. My mother and I chuckled about how so many of her nieces, cousins, neighbors, school chums, literary colleagues and unfortunate bystanders wound up dead. She always was the smartest person on the scene, and delightfully so. Not mentioned above, she did a delightful turn as Princess Gwendolyn in the Danny Kaye vehicle 'The Court Jester'. (the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true). Sadly missed....but never truly gone.

Shameful. Such nastiness over someone’s passing has no place here. I thought we were better than that.

Her father was a Communist, but she was not. We still binge watch Murder She Wrote, love her clothes, and Gaslight was amazing. Never read anything negative about her. How sad to be so full of hate and display it for all to see. She was an incredible talent, singing, acting, stage, big screen, small screen. RIP Dame Angela Lansbury.

RE #13: I was a kid when Bedknobs and Broomsticks came out. We saw it in the theater and I loved it. I always remembered Angela Lansbury in it. She was an amazing actress who never once showed her boobs on camera or had gratuitous sex for the sake of a movie. She didn't need to. Her talent spoke for itself.

Vice President Kamala Harris has mastered the art of using a hundred words when ten would suffice. She’s also mastered the art of throwing them together in a way that leaves people trying to figure out exactly what she is saying. During an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Harris discussed President Joe Biden’s recent declaration on marijuana, abortion and the importance of voting in the midterm elections. But somewhere along the line, Harris dropped this gem: (Tweet/Video) “When you see our kids, and I truly believe that they are our children, they are the children of our country, of our communities, I mean,

The Treasury Department is auditing the migrant flights authorized by Governor Ron DeSantis to assess whether the expenditures were appropriate. In response to a petition from Democratic lawmakers, the department’s inspector general wrote in an October 7 letter that the agency would investigate whether Florida misused federal funds to relocate illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. The DeSantis administration has maintained that the trips were approved on a bipartisan basis by the state legislature in a budget package many months ago. Richard K. Delmar, deputy inspector general for the Treasury Department, told Senator Ed Markey and five other Democrats that he intended “to get this work underway as soon as possible”

Ever since the experimental Covid-19 ‘vaccine’ was introduced, a staggering and horrifying phenomenon has been sweeping the Western world. We have seen it happen to athletes, performers, musicians, news anchors, soldiers, high schoolers, healthcare workers, random people, politicians, and so on. People have been dropping to the ground like flies because of heart-related issues that are, in virtually every case, caused by an adverse reaction to the mRNA jab. It’s undeniable; the rise in these life-threatening incidents has a clear and proven culprit (as numerous studies have shown a clear link between the mRNA spike protein and the litany of complications that are arising).

No one imagined this was feasible. Every expert put the timeline for repair at around a year. However, the git r’ done crews and the Florida Dept of Transportation have accomplished a massive feat of reconstruction in phenomenal time. Major kudos to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the construction crews who worked every hour of every day, day and night, for two straight weeks and have created/built a temporary bridge to Sanibel Island.

The moment President Joe Biden dropped something during an interview sparked a debate on social media. During an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper that was broadcast on Tuesday night, Biden said he would add a federal ban on assault weapons to his list of legislative accomplishments. He also vowed to impose "consequences" on Saudi Arabia for its decision to cut oil production as part of an agreement with Russia. But it was a moment when the president, mid-sentence, dropped something that looked like notes that were resting on his knee that lit up social media.

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked President Joe Biden Tuesday about potential criminal charges hitting his son Hunter, and the president responded with nothing but love and admiration for whom he once called the “smartest man” he knows. Last week, it was reported that federal prosecutors gathered enough evidence “months ago” to charge Hunter Biden with multiple crimes related to taxes and lying to investigators about a gun purchase, according to The Washington Post. Tapper asked Biden how he reacts to the news about his son “personally and politically.”

More millennials are attending church now than before the Chinese coronavirus pandemic struck, a report from Christianity Today’s October issue found. Churches all across the country famously closed down during much of the pandemic, creating tension in some communities that wanted to continue to meet regardless of local or state rules. But by now most Americans recognize that the pandemic is over. Even President Joe Biden made that admission last month.  There has been an uptick of Americans returning to normal activities, showing the fundamental desire of Americans to return to a state of pre-pandemic normalcy.

Journalists, leftists, and members of the establishment media collectively trashed NBC News Correspondent Dasha Burns for highlighting Pennsylvania Democrat U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman’s impairments due to a previous stroke. During Tuesday’s broadcast of NBC Nightly News, Burns noted Fetterman’s stroke has impaired him in a variety of ways, from his comprehension to his basic speech, to the point of him needing a closed captioning system during their in-person interview. “Fetterman’s campaign required closed captioning technology for this interview to essentially read our questions as we asked them,” she told fellow reporter Lester Holt. “In small talk before the interview, without captioning, it wasn’t clear he was understanding our conversation.”

The 15 plaintiffs of the case included the relatives of eight Sandy Hook victims, as well as a former FBI agent suing Jones. A Connecticut jury reached a unanimous verdict Wednesday afternoon before the judge read aloud a detailed report of the various damages owed to each plaintiff by Jones and his media company, Free Speech Systems. President Joe Biden said Tuesday on “CNN Tonight” that he will pass the assault weapon ban again before he leaves office. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Democratic voters approve of the job you’re doing. Democratic voters overwhelmingly like you. But one poll shows that almost two-thirds of Democratic voters want a new nominee in 2024, and the top reason they gave was your age. So what’s your message to Democrats who like you, who like what you’ve done but are concerned about your age and the demands of the job?” Biden said, “They’re concerned whether or not I can get anything done. We assume that — with computers, cell phones, and social media — our kids enjoy advantages that previous generations lacked. Sadly, American kids growing up today are missing developmental opportunities that used to be taken for granted. Quality of life as experienced by Americans in 2022 has deteriorated. It is a sad commentary on the state of our civilization. According to npr.org, children today spend an average of merely 30 minutes per week engaged in free play outdoors. Their parents won’t let them out alone. “Unstructured time outdoors is becoming a thing of the past. There was a time — and it wasn’t that long ago —

Inflation at the wholesale level rose more than expected in September as prices for everyday necessities remain at a multi-decade high, squeezing businesses and millions of American households. The Labor Department said Wednesday that its producer price index, which measures inflation at the wholesale level before it reaches consumers, rose 0.4% in September from the previous month. On an annual basis, prices soared 8.5%. Those figures were both higher than the 8.3% headline figure and 0.3% monthly gain forecast by Refinitiv economists, a worrisome sign for the Federal Reserve as it seeks to cool price gains and tame consumer demand
