This week, President Biden suggested that the federal government has engaged in racial discrimination with respect to sentencing people for marijuana possession. “Sending people to jail for possessing marijuana has upended too many lives.... That’s before you address the clear disparities around prosecution and conviction.” (Snip) But if he thought this was the case, he shouldn’t have selected Kamala Harris as his running mate. She made her mark as a California attorney general in securing almost 2,000 convictions for marijuana use and possession: In that position she oversaw the arrest and prosecution of thousands of people, mostly young people of color, for marijuana and other drug offenses.

Comments:

The problem is that it is forbidden to see, let alone say, that groups as a whole differ from each other in their abilities, most probably genetically. It should be obvious that as peoples evolved separately, different traits would be selected for and different mutations would appear. So logically some group would excel at one thing, and another group at a different thing, and the same goes for weaknesses. Some of this can be made up by culture, but right now we have no such culture, only the ridiculous forced belief that if it weren't for discrimination everyone would be the same.

The differences between the various race groups in America ( this is a euphemism for Blacks and everyone else) are due to history, culture AND genetics. Denying the third cause for political reasons will prevent us from addressing the other two.

Chronic marijuana use prevails in the black sub-culture. That might explain part of the difference in test scores, achievements, economic afvancement., between blacks and everyone else. How prevalent? When the NBA instituted drug testing, they and the Players Union agreed not to test for marijuana. Why is a star from the WNBA in prison in Russia? Because she took a season's supply of THC with her, and was caught at the Moscow airport. The long tall lesbian is black, like most of the other players in the WNBA. Too bad there can't be an open discussion about this, at the highest government levels.

The mere use of marijuana upends one's life. Those I knew in my younger days were the people who eventually lost the will to study and work or do anything useful. Every day was the same, get up, get stoned, repeat until the brain rotted.

In the 60s we were taught to be colorblind. We congratulated ourselves on making significant strides in racial equality issues and although our achievements weren't perfect they were laudable at the time. But then I heard Oprah say, "If you don't see my color, you don't see ME." Uh oh. A conflict, that exists to this very day. Both can't be right. Are we supposed to see or not see skin color? How can we comply if we get contradictory messages? But then, silly me. Maybe that's the point.

As always, it depends on whose ox is being gored. Is the Constitution "color blind"? Literally, yes. But somehow that Constitution allowed for slavery, even among some of its authors, mainly of black human beings, native-born American citizens, sort of. By and large white Americans started with little opposition to affirmative action and other such "reparations". And then those expanded to the point where grossly unequal results were produced, and AA became out-and-out discrimination against whites and Asians in particular. Worse, these advantages were looking much like perpetual institutions. Again and again standards are diluted or eliminated for one group or another who argue they cannot meet them in the same proportion as (usually) white males. And again and again those who set the standards cannot explain why they are necessary. Therefore they are found discriminatory. If the standards are meaningless...

They don’t put people in the federal prison system for possessing a couple of marihuana joints. The inmates in there now or the ones who have already served their time, are or were actually in prison for the most part after they successfully pled their cases down from much more serious offenses like dealing illicit drugs. By coming out with his pardons about four weeks before the midterm elections there is little doubt that Biden was using his presidential pardon authority to try to buy votes for Democrat candidates in the upcoming elections. Remember that Biden is a 101% political animal and will do anything to enhance his and leftist Democrat political power.

I grew up in brand new public housing where everyone moved at the same time. The qualifications were family income and # of children. The buildings had 140 families on my block. My best friend was chocolate Jimmy while I was vanilla Jimmy. We were all proud Americans with ancestors from: Ireland, Italy, Israel, China, Africa and we were United as a neighborhood. Every mother was allowed to punish every child and we learned don’t misbehave. I still have some friends from those days in the Bronx. It was truly a melting pot.

Despite persistent efforts led by the Biden administration, House Democrats' Jan. 6 tribunal and allied media to paint former President Trump as authoritarian, nearly as many Americans view President Biden as a threat to democracy as they do Trump, according to a new poll — and the mainstream media itself looms as the most widely feared threat to American democracy. The stunning results from the latest New York Times/Siena poll of registered voters follow a range of recent polling suggesting that by seeking to investigate, prosecute, and stigmatize their political opponents as anti-democratic "extremists," Biden and other Democrats are arousing fears among voters that it is they themselves who are acting

Liberal "diversity" is stupid and evil, and we should utterly reject it. It's based on the origin of grandparents and other meaningless box-checks involving stuff like genitalia and genitalia preferences, and it has resulted in a grim uniformity in the kind of humorless pinko dorks who make up the Democrat candidate roster. (Snip) But the kind of diversity Republicans are demonstrating is something totally different. It has nothing to do with what continent their ancestors came from, what religion they adhere to, or even how they pee. Darkness roils under the surface as people sicken and die, no one knows why, and the super-culture ignores it. This isa set of numbers that pulls focus away from the proliferation of evidence, the deliberate confusion of evidence, to this point: democide.
