There's a daily cartoon I read that's on its soapbox. Uses the term "climate damage", though. I guess that covers all bases and hedges all bets.

Kinda funny that you never hear any actual science discussed any more. I believe it is because it is full of holes and ongoing dialogue about it would reveal the weak points of the so called science. The entire establishment believes climate change is real and happening. Well, ask virtually any of them what specific scientific evidence supports their belief. Crickets. There is also no discussion about the pressure for conformity among climate scientists who disagree with the hoax. There is tremendous pressure for them to keep the money train rolling. There are billions of dollars spent on this pseudo science. As with most issues of the day, always follow the money and you will see that supply & demand for money always trumps any actual science. Look how rich Al Gore & John Kerry have become parroting this hoax. It also provides more ways for politicians to control the public. Remember, there must always be a major crisis for politicians to use to justify huge spending bills, much of which is funneled to favored sources and ultimately back to the politicians coffers.

Canadian Meterologist Dr Tim Ball commented that "Hockeystick" creator Michael Mann belonged not at Penn State but in State pen. Mann(less) sued for defamation in a Canadian court. After nearly a decade Mann produced zero evidence to support his case. The judge tossed the case and ordered Mann(less) to pay Ball's legal costs which had all but bankrupted him. After 3 years Mann(less) has payed nothing. Dr. Ball died recently and a Go Fund Me was set up to support funeral costs. Mann(less) has an on going (over a decade) defamation suit against Mark Steyn in a DC court costing Steyn a small fortune. He and his lawyers are fighting delaying actions but will eventually lose that as well. Mann(less) is a fraud and his biggest fraud is claiming to be a man.

The "famous" hockey stick graph is the biggest scientific hoax ever perpetuated. It was so dramatic and simple even (or I guess especially) only moderately informed could read catastrophe into it. It was the basis of Al Gores crusade, it was the centerpiece of all of the early IPPCC reports and launched a thousand snake oil salesman's careers. It has cost the world trillions in lost revenue, wasted money and political divisions. It opened the government coffers to charlatans and ended prominent scientists careers. And it was all a statistical anomoly. The hockey stick graph is not an actual plot of average temp vs year as it is presented. It is a statistically smoothed moving averages analysis of a temperature record that Michaele Mann has never released, never explained and no one except he has seen. nobody knows whether it is real or not, Michael Mann says it is "proprietary" an abuse of that term if ever there was one and a fundamental and usually fatal error in science. In any other field he would be a pariah for this action alone. But the origin of the data is actually meaningless. The entire concept of his treatment of the data has been shown to be one giant artifact. over 15 years ago a pair of canadian statisticians did an in depth analysis fof the method Mann used and the results were nothing short of scandalous. Turns out that the method itself builds an ever upward pressure on the data set. Any data set. As a final proof of the error in the method these two plugged in a series of numbers generated by a random number generator. After applying Manns analytical method to this group of RANDOM numbers out popped a perfect hockey stick graph. Mann to this day says that this paper doesnot represent what he published that he did and that his data set is somehow special. Its dan rathers Fake but Accurate argument all over again. It took the IPPCC at least 2 more reports after the debunking of Manns hockey stick for them to remove it from the IPPCC reports. by then the damage has been done and far too many very arrogant, and now wealthy, people would lose their entire reputation (and their seat on the gravy train) if they admit the error so it has all been swept under the rug and dumped in the memory hole,

Oh Good Grief We in Houston just went through Ike. What's with the "i,s:" You plunk down and let the storm pass. My house was built in 1947. How many hurricanes and it still upright. Then you help your neighbors. Yes in Texas we still have neighbors. Then you go to Gallery Furniture and they will (without a pack of paperwork) tell you who needs help

Do you like to think that you vote for the man, not the party? Then I should inform you that in the Senate race, if you vote for the Democrat, you are voting for Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), regardless. There is a nice little ProPublica website that compares the voting records of senators. I used the 2021-22 session to make some comparisons. (I pulled the data on Oct. 6. There may be more votes in this session after that date.) This first figure shows how many senators voted with Schumer, Democrat majority leader, by the percent of agreement.

Enter Democrat Tom Knox, a former deputy mayor of Philadelphia and one-time candidate for governor of the Keystone State. Knox endorsed Oz on Friday, citing rising crime in his city and Democrats' failure to crack down on violent offenders. "I am a lifelong Democrat," Knox explained in his endorsement of Oz over his Democrat opponent. "I have met with John Fetterman, and I personally like him," Knox continued. "But I am sad to say, as a resident of Philadelphia

By now, everyone who follows politics should recognize that the liberal media will deliberately ignore embarrassing gaffes by President Joe Biden, especially if they suggest he's not mentally sharp enough to be the president. Biden asked, "Where's Jackie?" about a congresswoman killed in a car crash two months ago was a TV black hole: nothing on the morning and evening newscasts on ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS, and nothing on CNN or MSNBC. This week offered a tidy contrast and an inevitable reminder that these same networks can never stop obsessing over Trump's tweets -- even after he was banned by Twitter. The taxpayer-funded "PBS NewsHour" took after Trump on Monday

When we think of violence we usually associate it with the destructive actions like stripping our law enforcement budgets of badly needed funds or allowing repeat offenders back out on the streets to commit more crimes. Images of pedophiles or hopped-up perpetrators accosting innocent people just going about their business pop into our heads along with the mug shots of crazy people with guns who have entered our schools and murdered our children. Trigger words don’t even make it to our 'B' list of violent behavior, but that was before a few of our government agencies entered our private space and started poking

With news that Israeli intelligence has detected an “irregular presence” of nuclear-capable Russian bombers near Finland and retired general David Petraeus casually saying NATO would likely sink Vladimir Putin’s Black Sea fleet if Russia used a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine, it’s perhaps time for a few questions: First, can we discuss a situation that could very well result in thermonuclear war — and the end of life as we know it — intelligently and rationally? Or must all questions about our Dr. Strangelove policy be met with childish name-calling (e.g., “stooge of Putin!”) designed to silence debate?

The final take on the disastrous Mar-a-Lago raid and its noxious aftermath – the latest in a series of “killing blows” aimed at Donald Trump and the movement he created -- is that Trump must run once again for president and must win. The logic behind this is simple: the Deep State, in its slow, dull-witted, and utterly inept way, is making its big move, and Trump is the only visible figure who can stand against this. The Left is well aware of this, and is terrified. Consider the timeline: on August 7, the Senate passed the “Inflation Reduction Act,” dramatically expanding government spending, including doubling the size of the IRS.
