After decades of speculation surrounding her sexuality, Scooby-Doo's Velma Dinkley has finally been confirmed as lesbian in the latest animated film Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! Clips from the new flick show Velma crushing on a new female love interest named Coco Diablo. The move comes two years after James Gunn, who penned the live-action Scooby-Doo films, revealed he wrote Velma as 'explicitly gay' before it was 'watered down' by the studio and ultimately removed. Velma is shown becoming instantly infatuated by Coco when she first meets the glamorous woman. In the clip, Velma stops in her tracks at the sight of Coco before blushing profusely.

Remember when they just wanted to do their thing in the privacy of their homes, and insisted that no, bigot, they weren't trying to come after the children?

When I watched Scooby-Doo on Saturday mornings when I was a child, I never once wondered about her sexuality. Of course, that was in the 70's, when kids were allowed to be kids and actually enjoy their childhoods!

I'm not a big fan but have watched some Scooby-Doo. I never thought Velma was gay; she was just the nerd of the bunch. Now that she's come out of the closet they built for her to come out of, I doubt I'll be watching any more Scooby-Doo. Not that I was ever a big fan. I was a big Toy Story fan, but since they gratuitously added a gay couple to Buzz Lightyear, I doubt I'll be watching much of that, as wee.

Har. So the show is going to stereotype gay females as chunky, short haired and manly. Interesting, maybe Scooby will come out as gay and only hump males’ legs. As a kid I used to watch it just to see how the plots and poor animation worked out. The villains might get away with their plans if it weren’t for those meddling homosexuals.

I've liked Scooby Doo since I was kid growing up in the 70s. All we had then was a 20 inch B & W Zenith TV with rabbit ears. The only channels we could get were ABC and PBS. We didn't care because kids back then could play outside without some democrat pervert pedo groomer wanting to snatch us. Never once did my siblings and I wonder what "team" Velma played for. As I got older I always thought she and Shaggy liked each other. Kind of like on the Super Friends I thought Superman and Wonder Woman were a couple. In Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated cartoon which came out in 2010 actually had Velma liking Shaggy. He of course being a teenage boy had no clue. I've got all of the movies and the first series that came out in 1969 Scooby Doo, Where Are You?. Now the left in their zeal to turn everything they touch into bs this latest foray into the depraved and stupid doesn't surprise me in the least.

Watch your mouth, Joe! President Biden stunned viewers of a Hurricane Ian recovery briefing Wednesday by saying into a hot mic that “no one f—s with a Biden” shortly after he told devastated residents of southwest Florida that he can commiserate due to a minor house fire that destroyed an “awful lot” of his own home almost 20 years ago. The 79-year-old president made the unexpected vulgar remark about family loyalty to Fort Myers Mayor Ray Murphy after taking several questions from reporters. “You were raised the same way I was,” Biden told the mayor. “I was, I was,” Murphy said, as Biden continued speaking.

The 10 highest paid Amtrak executives raked in six-figure bonuses in 2021–in one instance nearly doubling a senior-level executive’s salary–despite the rail network struggling with low ridership and plummeting revenues. The top-earning employees received “earned incentive” bonuses of more than $200,000 each—more than 50% of their base salaries–according to figures obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and a statement from an Amtrak spokesperson. The bonuses enraged the Transportation Workers Union that represents more than 1,000 Amtrak employees, which noted in a statement that the American taxpayer is, in part, footing the bill for the six-figure rewards.

President Biden complained that the White House press corps is the 'only press in the world' that shouts questions at their nation's leader during formal events. A task force meeting on abortion access began open press, where reporters were allowed in to observe the conversations, but at one point a White House staffer announced the meeting would switch to closed press. As reporters were ushered out of the room they burst into questions aimed at the president, many of them centered on a report that Georgia Republican Senate candidate paid for an abortion of an ex-girlfriend in 2009. They said the Homeland Security Department reported that fewer than 600 walked away without the shots in the early weeks of the evacuation, but dodgy records made it impossible for the inspector general to evaluate
