The head of mobility services for German electronics giant Robert Bosch GmbH has warned the electric vehicle industry of the reliance on battery cells and possible shortages in the future. Bloomberg reports that Markus Heyn, the head of mobility services for Bosch, has warned the electric vehicle industry over its overreliance on a single fuel source—battery cells—as Europe’s energy crisis worsens.
Heyn, who’s also a board member of the auto parts giant, told the Monday edition of the Stuttgarter Zeitung: “We’re currently seeing the consequences of the gas shortage for Germany and Europe because we prepared too few alternatives. In the automotive industry, we should use this occasion

Lawmakers want answers on why the federal government allegedly handed over to China expensive, advanced battery technology that cost taxpayers millions of dollars to develop.(Snip)“We are concerned that this is an overt dereliction of duty by DOE, and that this case may be emblematic of a department that routinely and flippantly permits government-funded technology to be transferred to China,” the senators wrote to Energy Department Inspector General Teri Donaldson. The senators said an NPR report about the government transferring vanadium redox battery technology prompted their request for an investigation. Scientists at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory took six years and $15 million in taxpayer funding to develop

The Pentagon announced it has launched a probe into one of its 'diversity' officers over the weekend, after her series of scathing posts disparaging white people on her social media resurfaced. The tweets by Kelisa Wing, an Army veteran and the current chief 'diversity, equity and inclusion' officer at the Department of Defense's Education Activity office, were first reported last week, and have since come under federal scrutiny. Fox News resurfaced the old posts, which use well-worn slang terms to mock white people include 'Karen' and 'CAUdacity'—a play on the word Caucasian—and were reportedly set to private after the outlet reached out for comment.(Snip)Perhaps most troubling,

Republican lawmakers chided President Biden on Monday for declaring the COVID-19 pandemic “over” while he’s pushing Congress to spend another $22 billion in emergency relief ahead of a looming fiscal deadline. Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois was among the GOP lawmakers citing an inconsistency between the president’s pandemic declaration on “60 Minutes” on Sunday and his emergency spending request.
“Now that Biden says the pandemic is over, he should END the military COVID vax mandate and STOP making young children wear masks in Head Start!” she tweeted. Rep. Andy Biggs, Arizona Republican, said of the president’s COVID-19 request, “Inflation is through the roof because of Democrats’ reckless spending.”

The Pentagon is reportedly reviewing its information warfare operations after social media companies cracked down on a pro-American influence operation with potential ties to the U.S. government. The Department of Defense ordered its military commands engaged in psychological operations to provide a detailed accounting of their activities by next month following concerns raised by Biden administration officials, The Washington Post reported Monday.
The internal examination of government psyops comes in the aftermath of Twitter and Meta cracking down on a pro-U.S. influence operation aimed at the Middle East and Central Asia that was detailed in a report from the Stanford Internet Observatory.

Brendon Michael Daugherty, 35, appeared Friday in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis on charges of threatening to murder a United States official and interstate transmission of a threat. Public court records do not identify the target of Daugherty's alleged threats other than to say the senator is not from Minnesota.(Snip)In his first message, Daugherty said, "You and the Republican Party should be proud that you're pushing me to become a domestic terrorist. The US housing market is in the midst of a “deep recession” that could put pressure on the Federal Reserve to ease up on interest rate hikes, a prominent economist warned on Monday. Home builder confidence declined for the ninth straight month in September as surging mortgage rates and steep prices priced many buyers out of the market, according to the National Association of Home Builders. Builder confidence fell to its lowest level since 2014 when excluding the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the index showed.
The prolonged downturn in confidence shows the housing market has been “in a tailspin for the whole of this year,”

Wegmans, the well-known supermarket chain, has decided to put an end to its self-checkout app Wegmans SCAN. The grocery chain discontinued the app on Sunday, Sept. 18. Customers were able to scan, bag and pay for groceries through the app to skip checkout lines altogether. “Unfortunately, the losses we are experiencing prevent us from continuing to make it available in its current state,” the company wrote in a statement. “We’ve made the decision to turn off the app until we can make improvements that will meet the needs of our customers and business.” The app was introduced in 2019. President Joe Biden will host the Atlanta Braves at the White House on Sept. 26 to celebrate the team’s 2021 World Series victory.
The White House said Sunday the president will welcome the Major League Baseball team to the East Room hours before the Braves open a three-game series against the Washington Nationals. Biden has hosted several championship teams at the White House since taking office last year, with cheerful apolitical celebrations that have departed from the style of his predecessor, who turned the ceremonies into cultural flashpoints.(Snip)The Braves, of course, are no stranger to political attention. Bill Clinton, 76, said that Republicans are only able to 'close' in midterm elections because 'they scare people' into thinking they need to vote in right-leaning politicians. The former Democratic president said that his party could hold onto the House and Senate in November's election if they 'say the right things'–suggesting that Republicans are better at embellishing to make their cause seem more dire.(Snip)'But we have to say the right things – and we have to know that the Republicans always close well. Why? Because they find some new way to scare the living daylights out of swing voters about something,' he continued.

And who will punish the federal government, the federal government, which is corrupt from top to bottom? It's laughable. The goal was to force obedience, even to the point of violating one's own body, and it worked pretty well. What other commands might such people obey?
