Exclusive— Former CIA Station Chief:
Intelligence Agencies Cannot ‘Be Reformed’
Unless POTUS Can ‘Fire Every Federal Employee’

Former CIA officer and station chief Scott Uehlinger told Breitbart News on Thursday that intelligence agencies cannot be cleansed of political and partisan corruption unless the president has the unitary power over the federal government’s personnel decisions. Uehlinger discussed left-wing and partisan politicization of federal intelligence agencies on Thursday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with special guest host and retired Navy SEAL and FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam.(Snip)He remarked, “The infection in these organizations is not just the political appointees. It’s basically everyone from mid-grade-level and up, if not lower because they’re all the recipients of a super-liberal education.”

Comments:

Vow to splinter the agency into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds and they'll probably murder you in the street like the last guy. Still needs to be done; we're not supposed to have such agencies, the ones we're stuck with are very clearly weaponized against the American people, and their business is undermining the nation.

Losing one's job but remaining on federal pensions is hardly sufficient punishment. We, the PEOPLE, will rise up and the Left had better Leave because true Justice will call for much more than that.

I have previously posted about the man responsible for Jimmy Carter's civil service reform. His name was Alan 'Scotty' Canpbell, who was appointed Chairman of the U.S. Civil Service Commission by Jimmy, and charged with civil service reform. Campbell, who had a Harvard Ph.D. in Government, prior to his appointment, was not shy in telling people that 'Personnel Management' was the least important part of Public Administration, yet he took the job to reform it. His partner in the reform was the Chairman of the House Civil Service Committee was a back bencher from Syracuse (where Campbell had been dean) Hanley, a high school graduate, was a dimocrat party regular, and an undertaker, was swept into a House seat in 1964 with the LBJ victory. Campbell produced what can be called an abomination in the 1978 Civil Service Reform Act. It was poorly designed, gave substantial power to unions, and no one even understood what it was supposed to do. (I conducted some federal arbitrations, and it was enlightening.)

As I see it, there's only 1 man with the clankers to do it: Donald J. Trump, but that can't happen until 1-20-25 and even then he'll have the usual RINO's harassing him all the way. Sometimes you just have to open your eyes and look around, it's over for America as we once knew it. It happened in less than two years with a crazy, power-mad mal-administration and their biggest allies, the so-called media. Glad I'm old.

The evil combination of Liberals and RINOs will NEVER let true reform happen. Simply wringing hands and cursing them in letters and comments will make no difference. We the People must tackle the RINOs then Trump will take care of the Deep State. The 200 MAGA candidates for the coming election are a good start. Let's make sure they go all the way.

42 years later and we are still suffering from the stupidity of Jimmy Carter. Every terrorist attack since then can be laid right at his feet. If he had supported the Shah of Iran instead of the insane murderous Ayatollahs, we would not have the Middle East that we have today. And now, #3 reminds us of more of the damage that he caused. Will we ever be done with it? Just imagine the long term effects which our great grandchildren will be suffering as a result of the odious 0bama years.

Fire them all...then what? If one believes national security is a key component to the Constitutional role of the Federal government, who's going to 1) Replace the fired, and 2) What's going to stop any angry former employee from selling secrets to any buyer? Don't think you just go out and hire a slew of intel "professionals" and carry on. Oh, and don't forget that these agencies will necessarily include the discharge of many military, starting at places like NSA. I suppose we could just contract it all out.

2nd post apologies, but... Jimmy Carter was big on ethics, said none of his appointees would be allowed, after leaving office, for a certain period of time, to deal directly with federal agencies. Alan 'Scotty' Campbell was hired as executive vice president for governmental relations for ARA services, immediately upon his departure from government . Why would they hire him? His ability to deal with the federal government - exactly what Carter said would not happen - was worth lots of money to ARA, which had contracts with various agencies as well as the military, worth tens of billions of dollars.

ALL Civil Service Jobs must have a job slot. The slot is then filled by applicants. If the Job Slots are CUT as no longer needed, there is NO Job and No Job means they are all terminated, PERIOD. If there was criminal activity they can be terminated with cause and lose all pensions etc. So what's taking so long? The President can create a new govt. bureaucracy, where most of them came from, so the President can close down any govt. agency...hopefully starting with the IRS, to be replaced by a simple sales tax...PERIOD. The rest of the agencies should be evaluated for actual need...Dept of Education, GONE, Dept of Ketchup Tasters, GONE, you get the point!

It may not be possible to fire them. But reassignment and creation of a special unit is within the (future Republican's) President's power. Create Unit "Ice Station Zebra" located in some nuclear war bunker in Greenland. Start assigning the liberals there. There jobs and authority will be to clock in promptly at 8:00 AM, read and summarize all articles written in foreign countries, and making a memo of the same. Clock out at 5:00. During an appearance on Fox’s Hannity Friday night, the GOP lawmaker said: 'The Democrats did not think it was a humanitarian crisis when we pulled over 50 bodies and body bags out of a truck in Texas of illegal immigrants who died because the smugglers let them die of heat exposure. ‘And yet suddenly, 50 illegal immigrants show up in lily white Martha's Vineyard, where rich liberals and billionaires sip Chardonnay.
