Rob Schneider voiced his opinion on the moment that he knew "Saturday Night Live" was "over."
The 58-year-old "SNL" alum told podcast host Glenn Beck that he believed the famous post-2016 U.S. presidential election cold open in which Kate McKinnon performed Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" as Hillary Clinton was the NBC comedy sketch series' undoing.
"I hate to crap on my own show," the "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" star said during a Saturday appearance on "The Glenn Beck Podcast."He continued, "When Hillary Clinton lost — which is understandable. She’s not exactly the most likable person in the room.

SNL was over in 2008 when Obama was elected. They never made a joke, even when it would’ve been hilarious, about Obie. They threw their humor totally out the window. Haven’t watched it since then.

Hey Kate, what we are seeing with Biden in the WH today is what we would have seen with Hillary in the WH in 2017. Is that what you wanted? You might be funny but not very intelligent.

SNL used to be funny. I’ve watched for years. But over the past 10 years or so it has become increasingly unwatchable. 95% leftist or LGBTQ crap.

Saying that this opening segment was partisan is like saying that skunks are a little smelly.....the whole show is partisan, are you kidding me?! I stopped watching regularly after Belushi died... I dropped it altogether after Eddie Murphy left.

People have been dying for a conservative alternative to the late nite liberal crap that has been dished out for years. That’s why Gutfeld is #1

Hey now! That wasn't a partisan thing at all! I too was singing "Hallelujah" when Hillary Clinton lost. I was singing along with my recording of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and it George Friedrich Handel's "Hallelujah", but still...

Without Kate, this is likely the final season of SNL— time to pull the plug!
It is no longer a comedy show for educated persons who appreciated the silliness, wit, parody and sarcasm of decades ago

I haven't watched since my beloved Gilda Radner passed away. I have no idea who Kate McKinnon is.
I've been watching an interesting series on VICE, a channel that I normally don't watch, called "The Dark Side of Comedy" which has profiled several of the former SNL stars like Chris Farley and John Belushi. With all the backstage debauchery, it is amazing to me how SNL has stayed on this long.

Recently I complained about Fox News's website, which holds its peace for about thirty seconds then cuts loose with sudden video content with its volume turned to 12/10, practically launching me from my seat. It doesn't matter that my volume is normally set very low. Fox News overrides that, and lets me know just loud my computer will squawk. Enough already. Fox is disrespecting their clientele. They need to shut up their web site. I won't return to it anymore. This has happened repeatedly. Screw you, FNC.

I agree with #1. SNL was over since McCain gave the election to the Odiot back in 2008. Truth be told I really stopped watching back in the early 90s as the show was becoming just another leftist promo and only made fun of Republicans and Conservatives. It should've been cancelled decades ago.

I go to You Tube to watch some funny skits. This McKinnon person might be the one who played Liz Warren perfectly and hilarious. She might also be the person who played in the alien abduction skits also that was funny. I haven't watched the show SNL since Chris Farley days and Eddie Murphy to be honest.
