President Joe Biden declared Donald Trump is a 'threat to the country' in a speech that contained his harshest rhetoric to date about his predecessor in the Oval Office and the MAGA movement. 'Equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise,' Biden declared at the top of his remarks before Philadelphia's Independence Hall. He called out Trump by name, slamming the former president for his false claim the 2020 election was stolen and berating those who support Trump. 'Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represented extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,'

The only true statement here "it's not normal what is happening to our country". The rest is all bizarre Orwellian nonsense. Just remember what one of your predecessors said Joe - You cannot fool all the people all the time.

What a marvelous speech for unity and togetherness, leading our great nation forward to greater achievements for all Americans. Oh, I was watching an old President Reagan speech. Biden is an ugly old snake who hasn’t the slightest idea how to govern. All he is capable of is threatening most of the population with military force.

He's right. It isn't normal. It isn't normal to have a senile old man as POTUS. It isn't normal to have a cabinet made up of affirmative action hires rather than qualified people. It isn't normal to have a POTUS criminalize 50% of the nation. It isn't normal to threaten his opponents voters with vile slurs that lessens their humanity. It isn't normal that a woman of at most average intelligence demands to be referred to as Dr. Biden when all she has is a worthless Ed.D. (a fictional degree if ever there was one). There's lots of things that aren't normal and all of them tend to radiate from Washington, DC and several state capitals and major cities.

Here's what's abnormal: This administration's hostility toward the our former president, and the 70 million-plus Americans who have every right to support the candidate of their choice. They don't need approval from the Biden administration. When elections are fair, candidates know better than to disrespect their constituents. They need the votes. It would be normal for a normal administration to worry about losing votes. Displaying contempt for the electorate as Biden did tonight is not the normal way of gaining support. Americans might wonder where this administration thinks votes will come from when they convey their contempt for voters.

It has become the safety net for more than 48 million retired Americans and many depend on a monthly check from the agency to survive. A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by Gun Owners of America (GOA) secured release of information surrounding a form which was used by the FBI in an effort to secure forfeiture of Second Amendment rights. Ammoland.com warned of the FBI effort in 2019, after GOA discovered the “NICS Indices Self-Submission Form” in December 2019. The form gave Americans the opportunity to “voluntarily” give up their Second Amendment rights, allowing no means by which the forfeited rights could be resecured. GOA filed a FOIA suit for information related to the form and its use by the FBI.

Researchers at Brandeis University found 35% of American families do not meet the “basic family needs budget” — the amount needed to afford rent, food, transportation, medical care and minimal household expenses — despite working full-time year-round. And the economic situation is even more dire for working black and Hispanic families, more than 50% of whom cannot afford the basics.

EAGLE, Colorado — There is something going on here in Colorado politics that is not much different than what happened in Virginia exactly one year ago: a shift away from the status quo and the odds-on favorite Democrat toward his Republican challenger. Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., is seeking a second full term against Republican challenger Joe O’Dea. And the question, in a state where people tend to dislike both parties but increasingly favor Democrats, is whether O’Dea is independent enough to earn their vote. Democrats viewed O’Dea as enough of a threat that they dropped $10 million into the Republican primary to manipulate voters into backing his “stop-the-steal” primary rival.
