Using government to persecute political opponents happens in “Marxist dictatorships,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said on Monday following news of the FBI raiding former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
“Using government power to persecute political opponents is something we have seen many times from 3rd world Marxist dictatorships But never before in America,” Rubio said Monday evening following the news. He later connected the raid to the Senate’s passage of the radical $700 billion Inflation Reduction Act, which among other things, allots $80 billion to hire 87,000 new IRS enforcement agents “to target Americans with as many as one million additional audits per year on taxpayers earning less than $200,000

SHut down the FBI. Zero their budget and keep it there. That is the ONLY valid response.

What I predict is undercover FBI agents trying to get angry Trump supporters to do something illegal as a response to the D.C. Stasi. Yes, they are that corrupt and desperate.

I believe this will end up being another "Wellstone Memorial " event. The evil democrats always go too far.

Not just Rubio, but every Republican officeholder not named Liz Cheney should be on the attack today against the Biden Administration, the DOJ, and the FBI.

We lost the FBI when Clinton entered the White House. Within weeks Hillary had demanded to see every FBI file on everyone. She got them. This was never legal but no one crossed her. That's why she and Bill are still out of jail, they know too much on too many and they are so willing to go after anyone trying to stop them.

A little less talk and a lot more action Marco or are you simply another strange bedfellow to that phony Kevin McCarthy? We won't hold our breath.

The democrats are desperate so is the FBI their time is neigh someone is going to lose this fight it could be the right and the Republic who lose. The left is in their gloves off fighting mode with all their weapons (FBI, IRS, ATF, EPA) out and active. This is their desperate end game or ours.

Thank you for your words, Marco. Here’s a suggestion. Gather the rest of your colleagues on the steps of the Capitol Building and denounce this behavior en masse. We are in unchartered waters here as a nation and it behooves Republicans to stand up for the Constitution and equal justice under the law. Be the leaders this country needs. The hubris of this demented party knows no bounds. They believe they have the power to do anything. Allow this travesty of Justice to stand and we are no better than a third world country flexing its muscle over its people. Democrats will not stop at this. They are gearing up to bring in police state tactics like this with their new 87,000 IRS agents. We are heading to Crazytown on a bullet train. You are our elected leaders. It’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Defend your oath as you promised the American people against all enemies foreign and domestic. The ball’s in your court. What you do in the coming days will determine the fate of the Republic.

I think the Biden Administration went a bit too far with the Raid on Trump. What they did was make Republicans horrified at what the FBI did to FORMER PRESIDENT Trump. Does anyone think this would have been done to Former President Obama? Or how about a soon to be Former President Biden. If there was ever a President who needed to be Raided it will be Biden! So now the Republicans are all riled up and ready for war in the Mid-Terms thanks to Biden's FBI! I think the Democrats may have helped us win even bigger in 90 days!

The Republican House and Senate need to go on strike. Just walk out of every committee, hearing, vote until Garland resigns.

And the public demonstration outside the Attorney General's office protesting this outrage begins...when? About the time demanding the release of the J6 political prisoners begins? This isn't about Marco, it's about the people. To paraphrase Country Joe at Woodstock, there are at least 81 million of you "real conservatives" out there...make yourselves known for a change. Sending a check to a candidate and a concerned letter to some editor isn't enough. Let's see some "conservative" activists for a change.

My first thought last night when I heard this news was that the Left is trying to provoke a Civil War where Trump supporters start taking the law into their own hands and start shooting, thereby, the Left has a reason to confiscate firearms nationally....a way to neutralize the 2nd Amendment and stop President Trump's political power. This is a scary thought, but we are dealing with evil, demonic people who have no morals and will do anything, I mean anything, to gain and keep, power. We are seeing it play out in Florida.

Here's the democrat's plan...by adding all these agents...they can force you to have to hire a lawyer...which most of US can't afford...so they hope WE give up and pay their extortion money...with 10% going to the IRS agent that sets up a citizen...it's called "scare tactics 101"...my advice is detach from all 501(c) tax exempt consideration...which the tea party folks learned quickly was a trap...thanks to Lois Lerner...keep the government out of your business....

So ... Senator ... you will be getting the other 49 Republican senators to sign a letter of protest that will be printed in the newspapers --- and paid for by the RNC?
Oh ... wait ... they're all hiding under their desks. My bad.

I hope that finally Republican office holders are catching on to the Democrat Party plan to criminalize the Republican Party. While obvious to all who have a brain Republican leadership has willfully hidden its head in the sand, sending out weaklings like Lindsey Graham to sing the hymn of bipartisanship and wax poetic about his friends across the aisle.
Ever since Trump descended the escalator the Democrats have moved from covertly delegitimizing Republicans to openly calling the entire party criminal. If Marco Rubio is waking up to the fact that the Democrat Party is as malign a force as it was before the civil war I’m happy.
