Entertainment Companies Start Dumping
Woke Content As Viewership Tumbles

Original Article

They'll never admit to it openly, but getting woke makes companies broke.  Hollywood has been overtly progressive for decades, but this is nothing compared to the social justice invasion since 2016.  After around five years of an unprecedented leftist onslaught on the entertainment industry we are finally starting to see the rampage lose oxygen.  There's a weakness within woke productions that the alternative media has been pointing out for a long time – They don't make a profit because they are designed to appease a minority of leftist zennials that don't have any money.  This is the wrong crowd to rely on for cash flow. It is fair to say that

I have not watched network television for many years because of the leftward slant of the programs. Years ago I could see what was happening even in such programs as DESIGNING WOMEN. I watch football on the networks, major golf tournaments and Tour de France. That's it including news broadcasts and even weather reports (global warming non stop). The local affiliates like in LA are simply crime blotters or on the weekend a report on a 15k meter charity race for homosexual pride events. I get what I need from the internet. CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, NBC etc., etc...are now just memories. FOX? Nope, they helped the Democrats steal the election. (Remember the early call of Arizona?)

I cut the cable years ago. I have some streaming services and mostly watch older movies, older non-woke TV shows and cooking shows. I've been to three movies in the past 3 years. If woke comes on a show I'm watching, I turn it off immediately.

People want entertainment. They do not want to be preached to by unlikable characters with contrived stories about how oppressed they are all day every day. We are supposed to learn from their being virtues as oppressed minorities but are mostly annoyed by the fallacies of the world as they present it. Maybe the problem isn't us. Maybe it's them and their woke biased world view causing their problems.

Hollywood has been putting out trash for years. Once Hollywood added WOKE agenda to the trash, movie buffs had had enough. It will be a long time before they will return to the movies or watch stupid TV shows that promote an agenda not entertainment. The Democrats just put the final nail in the coffin. They just raised taxes on movie goers while it costs too much to pay for gas and the theater. No movie is worth the money or the extra cost to go.

I tried to watch the "Avengers - Endgame" last week on TV for a little something different. It was two hours of special effects with little or no plot. Wouldn't you know it that the Black Panther and his accomplices made an appearance all the way from Wakanda. They were never a part of the Avengers group. The coup de grace was when an aging Captain America turned his shield over to a black character after retiring. A Black Captain America? In this crime-ridden climate, that is very insulting but Hollywood got what they wanted. I hope they lost big money on this travesty.

Too late for me. I watch the old 60's shows they show on MeTV and that's about it. I dont want to be preached to or have perverts shoved down my throat as somehow virtuous. I dont want to see white male heroes replaced with women or minorities or sexual spastics just to fill a diversity square. It is a blatant attempt at pandering and beneath my dignity.

When you target a minority group in movies or advertisement what can be gained from leftist zennials who are broke anyway. The paying crowd exits telling you sell your entertainment to the minority to make a profit but not from me. When I see a commercial target a race of people that I know would not use that product I say sell it to them I'm not your customer. Hollywood can't die fast enough for me.

Found a winner. On Amazon Prime. Called Clarkson's farm. Jeremy Clarkson is a car (gas) guy who has done magazines and TV shows on high performance top dollar cars. He has got himself a farm (in Britain) and the show is adventures in farming. For anybody who thinks farming is easy it's an eye opener. It's also very funny and entertaining. You have to watch the last episode for the punch line.

The coastals live in cities of 1, 2, 5 million people. Everyone around them seems to agree with them. So they make "product" that reflects their reality. To great regional acclaim. Completely oblivious to an non-regional effect. That they are teaching 200 million other customers to hate them. Worse, that's just the domestic market. Globally, deep, deep, deep, hatred for Hollywood... That's why Chinese and Middle Eastern releases have to be censored.

The last sentence of the article says it all. Those companies can purge all they want but most of us are NEVER going back. And it’s not just the media and entertainment; it’s jewelers who advertise same sex engagement rings, candy companies which produce LGBT M&Ms, candy companies which make Halal chocolate Easter eggs (yes, it’s true!), companies which call us racists, and on and on and on. I haven’t watched television since the late 90s and the last movie I saw in a theater was the last Downton Abbey which was made in the UK. Read a book instead!

It doesn't end with the shows either. The commercials are just as bad, and sometimes even worse. I stopped watching network shows years ago for the most part simply because they've become so boring and predictable. Even watching Tucker or Ingram becomes tedious on some nights. I get tired of the harping on everything D.C. Some nights, a nuke strike on D.C. would be good news.

I used to never miss a episode of "NCIS". And then the spinoff "NCIS:LA" came along...it was initially pretty good. And then "NCIS: New Orleans", also, good actors, good scripts. Then they got rid of the wonderful Zoe McLellan, and replaced here with an obnoxious NYC lesbian. That was the end of that show for me. NCIS:Los Angeles has been replacing all the white characters with blacks, and Muslim and the story lines have been going leftist steadily. I won't be watching any more of that. NCIS....the original, white actors replaced with black or brown, more and more. and I still watch but don't really care too much if I miss one. Soon, I won't even bother. Racism, leftist and homosexual themes.....no thanks. Not going to watch. Drop dead.

Axios Media has been acquired by Cox Enterprises in a cash deal said to value the digital news company at $525 million. Media and advertising firm Cox Enterprises had taken a minority stake in Axios in November 2021. The $525 million deal price is about five times Axios’s projected 2022 revenue of more than $100 million, the New York Times reported. Axios had raised $55 million in funding. Axios was launched in January 2017 by three ex-Politico execs: Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen and Roy Schwartz. A federal appeals court on Tuesday paved the way for the House Ways and Means Committee to obtain Donald Trump’s tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service – a move the former president has long pushed back on. The decision is a blow to Trump, who may seek emergency intervention measures from the Supreme Court in an attempt to temporarily block any release of these tax records. The ruling came nearly eight months after Trump’s attorneys appealed a December 2021 decision by District Judge Trevor McFadden, a Trump-appointed federal judge, who permitted the Treasury Department to disclose the former president’s tax returns to the House committee.

Lieutenant-Colonel Vitaly Tsikul, 36 and a tank commander, was confirmed dead by Russian media which showed footage of his funeral taking place in the town of Chebarkul, central Russia. His death was revealed as Colin Kahl, third-most senior official at the Pentagon, said that up to 80,000 Russia soldiers have been taken out less than six months of war. It means that around half of the 150,000 - 190,000 men that Putin is thought to have amassed on Ukraine's border
Conservatives' Rush to Show How Gullible

On Monday evening, the most brazen weaponization of the FBI ever took place after agents ransacked Donald Trump’s home in Florida, and that’s saying something given the rampant history of corruption and political targeting the bureau has dabbled in over the decades. While Trump himself was not there, the raid ostensibly surrounded possible violations of the Presidential Records Act, a dubious justification given such issues are typically handled in a civil manner. What probable cause did the FBI have that a crime had been committed? What was on the warrant used to execute the search and seizure? Those are the questions that gullible “conservatives” believe hold the key

At this point, it feels like we’re simply belaboring the obvious, but a new I&I/TIPP poll indicates that it’s increasingly clear to most of the country. Joe Biden has had too many instances where he’s attempted to shake hands with invisible people or trailed off and lost the thread in the middle of answering a question. Something isn’t right, and it’s no longer a simple matter of “charming gaffes” or incidents of stuttering. In some ways, his staff probably found it something of a relief when Biden came down with back-to-back cases of COVID because it kept him in isolation and mostly away from cameras and reporters.

The better question: Are they trying to hand Donald Trump the nomination in 2024? After news of the raid broke and leaks about its purpose began circulating yesterday evening, speculation about an attempt to disqualify Trump started circulating on social media. Attorney Marc Elias called it “a potential blockbuster”: Say … didn’t we have this debate six years ago, when the Department of Justice refused to charge or even “raid” Hillary Clinton for the same crime and others related to mishandling classified material? Indeed we did, Charlie Savage recounted almost immediately in the New York Times, and that legal theory was discredited:

Biden administration officials are set to announce Tuesday a new strategy to split monkeypox vaccine doses in hopes of vaccinating up to five times as many people against the virus, according to officials with direct knowledge of the plan. The strategy, first described publicly by Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Robert Califf last week, would allow the Biden administration to stretch its limited supply of monkeypox vaccines by changing how those shots are administered. Rather than inject doses of Jynneos subcutaneously, a traditional way of delivering vaccines into the fatty tissue under the skin, the doses would instead be injected under the top layer of the skin.

“An attack on one is an attack on all.” That keystone of the NATO charter in Article V has served as a deterrent for a major European war for nearly 80 years. Could a similar pact serve as a deterrent for boycott attacks on conservative states? Jonathan Turley looks at the political landscape, and especially the vapid boycotts imposed by equally vapid governors and legislatures on red states, and says it might work. This wouldn’t aim at private boycotts, but rather the state-to-state boycott actions championed by Democrat pols like Gavin Newsom and Stacey Abrams, about which Karen wrote earlier: Such campaigns have succeeded, particularly with private companies.

On Monday evening, the FBI took the unprecedented step of raiding the home of former President Donald Trump. What were they looking for? Astonishingly, what is being leaked to the media is that they were after documents that possibly violated the Presidential Records Act. Far from their promises of proving some grand conspiracy involving January 6th, it appears the Democrats, using the power of the nation’s federal law enforcement apparatus, are trying to take Donald Trump out with selective enforcement of provisions that are normally handled in a civil, not criminal manner. Where have we seen that before? None of this is a coincidence, and none of it is justified.
