He was 77. “We have received confirmation from Christopher, Tony’s son, that Tony passed away earlier this morning, with his loving family at his side to see him through this journey,” an announcement read on Dow’s Facebook account Wednesday afternoon. “We know that the world is collectively saddened by the loss of this incredible man. He gave so much to us all and was loved by so many. One fan said it best — ‘It is rare when there is a person who is so universally loved like Tony,’”

San Francisco has declared a state of emergency over the spread of Monkeypox in the city, Mayor London Breed said Thursday as the number of cases soared in July.
The first case of the virus, which is predominately affecting the gay and bisexual community, was recorded on June 3. By July 28, the number of cases reached 281, according to the city.
