Dozens of former Republican and Democrat officials have teamed up with Andrew Yang to join a third party, the Forward Party, which will launch on Thursday, according to a Reuters report.
The Forward Party announcement comes nearly one year after Yang announced his departure from the Democrat Party to develop a third party. Yang rose to prominence with his failed 2020 presidential run as a Democrat, where he promoted Universal Basic Income.
The Forward Party will be co-chaired by Yang and former Republican New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman.
The new party is an amalgamation of three political groups that find themselves disgruntled with America’s increasingly polarized political system.

Oh how wonderful. The last time we had a Republican third party it gave us Jimmy Carter as President. Just what we need now - another worthless president.

In reality it will be the Backward Party. They will raise Ross Perot from the dead and lead the way to guarantee democrats win by splitting the vote. A party created by losers, for losers, because in their minds losing is winning.

From which party do they intend to siphon off the most votes? Judging from the RINO/commies setting up this doomed enterprise, it looks like an attack on the GOP. which really does need to disappear. If anything , the GOP needs to be replaced by a party that will destroy the socialists.

The "Forward Party" - somewhat misnamed. S/B named the "Political Dustbin Party". They have room for Mad Liz and Cryin' Adam.

My oh my! Can't say which is worse, "Covid 19 or Stuck on Stupid". And speaking of UBI(Universal Basic Income), it's been tested and proven that it's not gonna work and only ruins people's lives. It's an entitlement and socialism pretending to be capitalism(like a wolf in sheep's clothing). UBI is designed to deplete the source of money and decrease the middle-class population.

Universal basic income is their big idea?
Sounds like a commie/Democrat who is the wrong color to get ahead in the new racist Democrat party.

Universal Basic Income is a democrat pipe dream that would allow the lazy not to work and the not-so-talented to make as much money as the highly productive. It will siphon potential democrat votes. Go for it.

the repubs are all dissidents who can't find a job following their time spent on the public payroll and I am very disappointed in Whitman

Yeah well, I'm sorry but we are just as much to blame on this as anyone else. Forming a new party with the intent to cause chaos is NOT a new idea! We should be PREPARED for developments like this and should have already launched our own statements/ads/speeches about the dangers posed by dangling a political carrot in our faces and the timing of it all.

Sorry for the second post...but I just read that the Forward Party has joined with the Renew America Movement aka RAM. You will get a better picture of who they are & their leftist goals. The RAM website has photos of who they support: e.g. Liz Cheney) and who they don't support(conservatives). https://renewamericamovement.com/renewers/

The damned thing even sounds like a Democrat scheme. "Forward"... Recall all the recent past presidential logos with arrow shapes going this way and that? Could they be more obvious?
And the way reality is, this "Forward Party is going to suck up more Democrat voters than Republicans. "Forward" my aunt fanny! Only if the arrow is pointing toward the basement!

Have at it. The hopes are to attract that mushy "middle" that believes in nothing...and are willing to compromise that belief to avoid conflict. Politics in brilliant pastel colors.
And for all the angst expressed, how many here have promoted/demanded forming a third party? This one is not just your third party.
#1 - You forget Ross Perot (19,742,267 votes for him) and the impact he had led to Bill Clinton...which I submit was the election of a criminal element to the Presidency and has directly led to the profiteering cabal, our national UNIPARTY. It practices legal theft on a giant scale with impunity.

They name one Republican. Miles Taylor, one of the faceless employees of the DHS (under Kelly and that blonde woman during the Trump admin). They have no policies as yet. Their name sounds stunningly Marxist (The Great Leap Forward of Mao’s Cultural Revolution).
Have at it.
