Border apprehensions recently topped 1.7 million, with three months of the fiscal year remaining. Over 600 have died so far trying to get across the border, maybe more if the Mexican authorities are picking up the dead rather that US officials. Biden Nation cares less about them.

AUSTIN, Texas — A staggering number of women are considering permanent sterilization procedures after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, according to physicians and online search data. Searches for terms such as tubal ligation nearly quadrupled in the week after the high court’s decision, Google data shows. Facebook support groups for those interested in pursuing sterilization have been flooded, with one group gaining more than 2,500 new members since the June 24 ruling. Meanwhile, OB-GYNs at one practice in Austin say they are fielding more phone calls than ever from women about sterilization.

WASHINGTON—A prosecution witness in the case against former White House aide Steve Bannon acknowledged on the stand on July 20 that she has known one of the prosecutors for some time. The witness, Kristen Amerling, said she and one of the prosecutors “overlapped” on the House Oversight Committee while it was under the leadership of former Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.). Amerling said she’s also been part of a book club for five years of which the prosecutor, Molly Gaston, is a member. The club primarily comprises former aides to Waxman, she said.

As the Biden administration reels from a string of recent legal defeats, political analysts hail the U.S. Supreme Court’s latest ruling, West Virginia v. EPA, as but one component of a new, broad-based approach that the courts are taking to halt a century-long effort by progressives to empower the administrative state and rule Americans by bureaucratic decree. Dating back to President Woodrow Wilson 100 years ago, progressive presidents, including Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, have worked to transfer law-making authority from Congress to their executive agencies. Wilson, the father of modern-day progressives, believed the Constitution, with its separation of powers, was an outdated document

What can you say about the theater of the absurd that is American politics these days? I won’t try to outdo other commentators regarding Dementia Zhou’s announcement of his cancer. It turns out that he doesn’t really have cancer, according to the White House, but he does have Covid. Per the announcement that my wife just heard on the radio. Of course, coming on the heels of further disastrous polling results—including an eye-opening 18% approval rating among Hispanics in one poll—one has to wonder about this Covid announcement. Is it possible that this is simply a ploy to get Zhou out of the public eye,(snip) Or a ploy to gain

A “study” finding that COVID mitigation efforts in schools, including forced masking, were highly effective in stopping disease spread — and cited by the CDC and most states as the scientific basis for school mask mandates — was authored by LA County bureaucrats, including the daughter of the county’s Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer. Although study authors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest — and Ferrer is given a shout-out in the acknowledgements — the study states that no conflicts of interest were disclosed. A BASIC PUBLIC HEALTH PRINCIPLE: A basic public health principle is, “The more society can function normally during a pandemic—the better the people will manage and survive.” This policy was turned on its head into, “The more society can be frightened, isolated, controlled, and suppressed—the safer it will be from the virus.” (snip) Public health has failed in the COVID-19 pandemic. How and Why? Our government did not verify the Wuhan/China scare tactics. The antibodies triggered by COVID-19 vaccines are interfering with people’s immune systems as newer virus variants emerge, Dr. Harvey Risch said. The two most widely-used vaccines in the United States, produced by Pfizer and Moderna, both work by sending messenger RNA into muscle cells, where they produce a piece of the spike protein from the virus that causes COVID-19. The spike protein triggers the production of antibodies, which are believed to help prevent infection by SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, and fight illness if one still gets infected. But the vaccines are based on the spike protein from the original virus variant, which was displaced early in the pandemic.

As Breitbart News reported, Hunter may have lied on paperwork he submitted when purchasing a handgun in 2018 by not disclosing his drug additions.
