It's going to be a long, hot summer — and I'm not just talking about the weather. Take a handful of hallucinogens, sedatives and edibles, wash them down with a healthy amount of your favorite liquor during a backyard barbecue with people you love, some you barely know and others you can't stand, and you'll approximate the political climate in the United States today on the eve of the midterm elections. The summer of 2022 is hot and furious. We are dealing with a world literally on fire due to climate change.

Now that Donald Trump has been indicted for using lies about the 2020 presidential election to seek to overturn its results, it’s become a matter of grave national concern that big majorities of Republicans apparently don’t think he was lying at all. A new CNN survey shows that 69 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents do not believe “Joe Biden legitimately won enough votes to win the presidency” in 2020. It’s worth asking what if anything might have convinced them to believe Biden’s win was legitimate, if only to establish what could happen differently in 2024 to avoid another contested Democratic win — if not an attack on the Capitol.

We all knew Vice President Kamala Harris wouldn’t back up her falsehoods regarding Florida’s African American curriculum.

We’ve reported this week on how White House press secretary Jen Psaki has been asked multiple times about various aspects of the story that broke Monday about the Supreme Court leak regarding the draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito in which he declared “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled.”
On Wednesday, Psaki gave a very troubling answer when questioned on whether the Biden White House would view a majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade as a “legitimate” ruling.
The U.S. economy is in the middle of an awkward transition. Like a groggy bear roused from hibernation, the country is no longer dormant due to the pandemic but isn’t quite back in full form either. Millions remain unemployed, businesses are having trouble hiring, workers are still avoiding the office, and shortages of everything from lumber to computer chips have helped push up consumer prices. There is a reason Donald Trump seems so desperate to hang on to his position as president of the United States. Over the weekend he reportedly talked with attorney Sidney Powell and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn about trying to impose martial law in states he lost in order to hold new elections in the hopes that he could remain president. (Fortunately, the U.S. Army issued a statement publicly challenging the commander-in-chief.)
The reason for Trump’s seemingly erratic behavior is obvious, at least to us: Donald Trump knows that he may be arrested not long after Joe Biden is sworn in at about noon on Jan. 20, 2021.

Read on for a good laugh. This rant must be seen to be believed. A look behind the curtain into the demented minds of leftists. The Republicans are hemorrhaging voters. The Jan 6 Committee has presented clear and convincing, factual evidence of a coup attempt orchestrated by Donald Trump. And the moon is made of green cheese.
