The left has a new enemy in their saga to make January 6th the preeminent issue of our time: The US Secret Service.
Reports have been flying around asserting that the Secret Service deleted text messages dating to the time of the unrest at the Capitol Building. That was confirmed on Tuesday, after officials announced that there are no new texts to provide to the January 6th committee that are relevant to its “investigation.” Any others of concern have already been purged, though, the agency insists there was no purposeful malicious action in doing so.
That comes via The Washington Post, which is now sounding the alarm about possible illegality

The cynic in me says this is part of the plan to use it as some sort of justification, rationalization or excuse as to why they couldn't come to a conclusion with regards to the story about reaching for the steering wheel.
Funny thing about that, he was being accused of wanting to join the crowd, but now they're trying to say he didn't do anything to stop the violence.

The Secret Service learned how to delete messages from the FBI, and the Mueller investigation team.

Whaaaat? The US Secret Service *deleted* txt messages relating to the overthrow of the United States government, an event on par with Pearl Harbor and the Revolution?
Did George Washington delete text messages about Valley Forge? What a crock.

We already know there are no consequences for deleting emails, just ask Hillary.

Maybe the SS took a page out of Hillary's Book! She may even have given them the formula for Bleaching E-Mails so they will never see the light of day! Democrats didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with Hillary doing that, so why are they so upset if the SS did it? Inquiring mind want to know!

The democrats really are reaching for straws they so want the fake 'steering wheel' story to stick. There has to be a big trophy made for President Trump as an award for the most investigate, impeached man in American History surviving every attack while Nancy Pelosi looks more stupid by the day.

So, J6 “committee”, while you’re screeching about deleted texts, how about coughing up the 14,000 hours of video evidence that you’ve stashed away under Nancy’s desk?

What are the restrictions on the Presidential secret service people from revealing what they saw and heard while on duty?

Oh no. The Lizzard Cheney and that cast of characters on the J6 committee are having another snit about something? Fume your heart out, honey. Just a few weeks left before you get primaried out. Then lame duck your way to January. Good riddance. Same for your partner in crime, kinzie.

With respect to the deleted emails. If the secret service had nothing to hide, why delete them unless this is common practice. Normally this would not bother me or leave such a lingering question, but some of their past 'activity' has not been the most honorable or professional. From my understanding, even the agent's off-duty time is not considered totally 'off-duty' when the SS is away on presidential official business, i.e. having hookers in hotel rooms while on official presidential business. So SS deleting emails leaves me with a question-are they hiding something?. Nonetheless, I am glad it puts a clink in the Jan 6th Committee's armor! One good thing that is coming out of this sham and shameful Jan 6th committee is that Liz is going to lose her seat in the next election because of her stupidity in pushing such a vengeful self-centered false narrative. But no way should the SS stand for being an excuse for this committee's soon-to-be failure! Why the Dems keep attempting these stupid taxpayer-wasting procedures, I do not know. They are desperate in trying to stop Trump from winning in 2024, I guess! Part of their problem is they have nobody good to run- Biden, Clinton, Missing in Action Mayor Pete, VP Harris, Warren, Sanders, AOC, Beto, and Newsom - they all suck and have baggage!

This is either a big middle finger to Congress, as part of that "Fourth Branch" of government, or it is complying with the wishes of the committee, destroying/withholding exculpatory information and taking the "heat". Pick one...maybe both.

They illegal committee is losing ground...not only is America bored with their antics...but they can't get any traction on the impeachment of our President Trump...every passing day brings out more truth and the committee is left with nothing to hang their impeachment on...and the little turn coat tart that lied all day long in front of the tribunal...has been dismissed as a liar...

I don't believe the headline. The Secret Service is working with the Jan 6ers. They have/had evidence that would have blown up the Jan 6 committee, so they just say it is all gone.

Did they delete all the daily incremental backups of the servers? How about the weekly full system backups of the servers? We’re there duplicates sent to a backup data center? NOTHING just gets deleted!!!

Here’s a little secret we can let them in on: Check with the NSA. They Hoover so much data that I have no doubt that all government agency communications exist on a database somewhere.
In the 21st century, nothing is deleted.
