Gaffe-prone President Biden evoked winces from his entourage Saturday as he spoke of the “selfishness” of American troops on the final day of his trip to the Middle East.
“For the first time since 9/11, an American President is visiting this region without American troops being engaged in combat — in a combat mission in the region,” Biden said during a speech to the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
“We’ll always honor the bravery and selfishness — selflessness of the — and sacrifices of the Americans who served, including my son, Major Beau Biden, who was stationed in Iraq for a year,” he said.

Joe "Dementia" Biden
"Dementia affects the way a person thinks, which can impact on their ability to respond appropriately or follow a conversation."
Jill, what kind of medication does he use?

Not something to make a big deal out of. That is genuinely something which potentially follows from someone who used to have a speech impediment (Biden has been reported as having had a stutter when he was younger).

If Biden gets out either through a 25th Amendment action, or retirement, and Harris moves up to fill the remainder of Biden’s term, the politician who the Democrats move into the Vice-Presidential position, will be the politician that the establishment Democrats plan to run for President in 2024. Count on that. But remember the Democrats have put themselves into the position where they are always going to have some sort of minority who fits within one or more of the racial or ethnic categories of Democrat identity politics on their presidential ticket from now on.

Every time he screws up, he does a “poor little me, I deserve sympathy” routine. Most of us by his age have experienced personal tragedies, but we don’t constantly use them as an excuse when we screw up. Let’s face it, Biden is a walking disaster.

Poor Beau. Even in death he can’t avoid being used by his father.

It looks like a "slip of the tongue". It's happened to all of us. However, it doesn't happen to all of us all the time. And I don't know any family(outside of very, young children) or friends who try to shake hand with imaginary people. The man is simply a "burn out", that staggers about with the aid of pharmaceuticals and a gigantic teleprompter. This is truly beyond sad. This is the the classic "accident waiting to happen". It's time to call an end to this charade.

Beau was a lawyer, one of the protected classes, and , in my opinion, useless in a combat zone. And he didn't die from any combat related action. I'm Bidets age, I've lost my parents, a younger brother and a younger sister, it happens!

Maybe he needs his distance glasses adjusted to better read the teleprompter.

Ah, yes, # 3 and the 0 was said to have an "intellectual" stutter - but the 0 read the words right. Judging from the bidet's policies I believe his dementia is resulting in Freudian slips as he reads the teleprompter. His green new deal restictions on energy demonstrates his belief that Americans are selfish and undeserving.

Yeah, it WAS selfish of Beau wanting to get away from his father for a year.
