Atlanta’s homicides up for 3rd straight year

Original Article

A baby killed by a stray bullet. A cab driver slain after dropping off his passenger. A young woman shot to death over mayonnaise. For the third straight year, homicides are up across Atlanta. Authorities have investigated 85 cases through mid-July, up from 79 this time last year. The uptick comes amid a city-wide increase in gun violence that started in the summer of 2020. The trend is not unique to Atlanta, and city leaders have taken a number steps to combat the deadly surge. “Gun violence is out of control and we’re going to put an end to it here in Atlanta,” Mayor Andre Dickens said

Comments:

The civil unrest fomented by the BLM communist front group started in the summer of 2020, which the first paragraph of the article pinpoints as the inflection point for increase gun violence, yet the name of American secular saint George Floyd appears nowhere in the article. "Black" or "African American" aren't mentioned either, despite, as the pattern goes, nearly all of the violent crime coming from a very specific subset of The Community. So instead of communist agitation and culturally sanctioned criminality being at fault, it's guns. A nation cannot survive when its people are fed a steady diet of lies, which is why the communists took control of the news media.

Again an article full of total bullsh**. Yes all of the numbers and tragedies are correct. All of the outrage is justified. But, until someone has the guts to tell it as it is nothing will change. In every democratic run city it's the same story. The culture of violence in the black community has to be met with force and a message sent to every gangbanger and thug that it's over, done with and their actions will no longer be tolerated. Until then you can rubber stamp this article and run it every damn week. The names may change but the story will be the same. Wake up...

Currently we have the Governor race in Georgia where our current Governor Brian Kemp is running for reelection against The Blob. One hit commercial has an attractive middle aged woman wearing a blue uniform claiming to be a nurse telling us Gun Violence is the leading cause of death amongst young people and Kemp had made it worse with Constitutional Carry. If she is a nurse I'm the Grand Duchess Anastasia. The leading cause of death is drug over doses and the drugs are coming from across our non existent Southern border with Mexico. Another hit commercial is a young guy claiming to be law enforcement claiming Kemp made it easier for criminals to carry guns. No he didn't. He just made it easier for potential victims to defend themselves. It's going to be close.

According to his office, "Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens has pledged to install a combined total of 10,000 new streetlights..." in an effort to combat crime. All that's going to do is give the brutha's a better sight picture when they be out gangbangin'. Oh wait; nevermind. The bangers don't aim, just point and spray. By the way, has anybody checked the statistics on the identities of the shooters? Yeah, don't bother; it's exactly what you would expect.

Former President Donald Trump’s adviser believes Covid-19 could have leaked from a Wuhan lab where scientists were working on vaccines for similar viruses. Infectious diseases expert and former presidential Covid adviser Dr Deborah Birx told The Mail on Sunday that coronavirus ‘came out of the box ready to infect’ when it emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2020. The adviser said most viruses take months or years to become highly infectious to humans. But, Dr Birx said, Covid ‘was already more infectious than flu when it first arrived’. It's a bridge too far gone. An industrious vagrant has built a 16-square-foot wooden home on the Manhattan Bridge bike path, right under the noses of city authorities—a new low for the once-great span that’s now a magnet for trash, graffiti and hobos. The ramshackle shed was pieced together with plywood, two-by-fours and cardboard. It lacks indoor plumbing—but the homeowner has a green pail for that. Clean energy proponents are touting the use of solar and wind power in oil-rich Texas, but a summer heat wave is showing the limits of renewables in sustaining a major power grid. Temperatures have climbed into the 100’s this month and Texas energy companies are sending urgent messages to customers to warn of rolling blackouts. They also are asking customers to conserve by raising thermostats, cutting back on using dishwashers and washing machines and limiting electric vehicle charging. Energy Texas, one of 150 retail electricity providers in the state, blamed the looming threat of power outages on “triple-digit temperatures and low wind generation.” Despite producing more oil

Spectacular and groundbreaking snapshots of the early cosmos gripped the world earlier this week when NASA released the first images from its new super space telescope. James Webb captured an unprecedented look at a 'stellar nursery', a dying star cloaked by dust and a 'cosmic dance' between a group of galaxies, along with hints of water vapor in the atmosphere of a remote exoplanet. What is even more exciting, however, is that astronomers say this is just 'the tip of the iceberg'. This accelerating trend is especially pronounced among young adults. We found that scientific theories about the unguided evolution of life have, in particular, led more people to reject belief in God than worries about suffering, disease, or death.
