A survey discovered that charging logistics is the primary reason why Americans aren’t buying electric vehicles.
Consumer Reports, which said it surveyed around 8,000 Americans, found that 61 percent said they wouldn’t seek to own an electric vehicle because of charging logistics while 55 percent cited the number of miles a vehicle can go per charge. Another 52 percent said that the costs of buying and maintaining an electric vehicle are cost-prohibitive.
Another 46 percent of the respondents stated they have not heard of any financial incentives available for owners of electric vehicles.

Police arrested a man, who is believed to be an illegal immigrant, on Tuesday after he allegedly raped and impregnated a ten-year-old girl who reportedly traveled from Ohio to Indiana for an abortion, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
The outlet reported that 27-year-old Gershon Fuentes confessed to raping the ten-year-old child on at least two occasions.
The child became the subject of national media attention after the Indianapolis Star reported earlier this month that an Indianapolis-based obstetrician-gynecologist named Caitlin Bernard was asked by a child-abuse doctor in Ohio to help the young girl get an abortion

Pro-abortion fanatic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has called to shut down crisis pregnancy centers “all around the country” for their work in helping women seek alternatives to abortion.
Speaking with reporters, a visibly upset Warren falsely accused crisis pregnancy centers of fooling women out of getting an abortion: In Massachusetts, right now, those ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ that are there to fool people who are looking for pregnancy termination help outnumber true abortion clinics by 3-t0-1. We need to shut them down here in Massachusetts and we need to shut them down all around the country.

A majority of Democrat voters say the Supreme Court should be abolished for its racist and misogynistic practices, according to a recent poll commissioned by the Heartland Institute.
In addition, 54 percent of young people aged 19 to 39 concur, regardless of their political association.
The survey of 1,025 U.S. voters was divided among party lines, with 53 percent of Democrats in favor of abolishing the current Supreme Court and replacing it with a “new, democratically elected . . . court with justices chosen by the American people directly,” and 33 percent “strongly” in favor. Only 21 percent of Republicans and 38 percent of independents favored the ill-advised proposition.

Democrats are facing their worst political environment in over a decade heading into November’s mid-term elections. Republicans lead the generic ballot and hold a solid structural advantage in competing for the House of Representatives. And despite concerns about candidate quality, the GOP is also favored to take control of the Senate.
The correlation between presidential approval and their party’s mid-term prospects also can’t be ignored. Joe Biden has hit the lowest poll numbers of his term, with a recent Times/Siena poll showing him at just 33 percent approval with only 13 percent believing the country is on the right track.

Eco-zealots are slashing tires on SUVs across the globe in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The Tyre Extinguishers movement, which started in the U.K., has spread to the United States and leaders promised to 'expand massively' in the coming weeks.
New York City was hard hit by the group last month when approximately 40 SUVs were deflated in the Upper East Side.
Residents in Chicago; San Francisco, California; and Scranton, Pennsylvania were also targeted by the climate activists.

Republican pollster Rick Shaftan is like a lot of political junkies: He looks to his mother for hints on what real America is thinking. Lately, their talks have been about former President Donald Trump and whether he should run again.
SNIP
Of course, Trump does make some news, but it's mostly complaining about the 2020 election results and cheering on some 140 GOP candidates he has endorsed for 2022 who have won so far.
But for the 2024 race, Shaftan’s mother and millions of other Republicans are starting to look past Trump to others more engaged on problems shocking the nation and taking on President Joe Biden.

All five major social media platforms received failing grades regarding the safety of LGBTQ users, according to a new report released by GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization. The organization released Wednesday the findings of its second annual Social Media Safety Index (SMSI), an analysis of LGBTQ user safety across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok. After evaluating the five platforms on 12 LGBTQ-specific indicators—including policies on misgendering or deadnaming; actions to restrict harmful content; prohibition of harmful advertising; option to add gender pronouns on user profiles; as well as a commitment to protect LGBTQ users from harm—GLAAD found that all five of them received scores

An Afghan migrant who raped and sexually assaulted multiple young boys and girls defended his vile abuse as 'normal' cultural practice in his home country. Mohammed Rahman Arsala, 32, moved to Saint-Brieuc in northern France in 2018 where he committed a string of offences. He was jailed last year for 15 years for raping a 12-year-old boy and was hauled back before the courts last week to answer for further offences against children. The court heard in July 2021 how Arsala followed the underage boy off a bus, grabbed his arm and took him to an abandoned warehouse to carry out the attack in August 2018.

CNN data analyst Harry Enten said Wednesday on “Anderson Cooper 360” that the presidency of Joe Biden is being eaten alive by record inflation.
Enten said, “Back in July of 2021, a year ago, no one was saying inflation was a concern outside of Larry Summers. Then it started picking up in December of 2021. Now, it is a clear number one issue, and we see this clear correlation as more people are concerned about inflation, Joe Biden’s disapproval rating climbs ever higher.” Cooper said, “Larry Summers did get it right.” Enten said, “He did.”
He added, “Yeah, so we can look at both Joe Biden’s disapproval rating on inflation
