The Fourth of July weekend began with #ImpeachJoeBiden trending on Twitter. There appeared to be no illegal act cited as a basis for impeachment; instead, people were reacting to this tweet: "Former Senior Obama advisor David Axelrod to Jake Tapper of CNN: Things in the country are ‘out of control’ and Biden is ‘not in command.’"Americans are furious, despondent, and fed up with President Joe Biden. They agree with David Axelrod; the country has gone off the rails and the president seems utterly incapable of fixing what’s wrong.

Of course it can. They want it to be worse for the middle class. They hate us.

It's certainly not going to get better.

The people running the country did exactly what they wanted to do, and it's not about their ability to fix things, because they don't want to. The country is getting to where they want it to be. In fact, the destruction of the country isn't going fast enough for them.

FTA: "no illegal act cited as a basis" Only because everyone is fully aware of the high crimes and misdemeanors - with ample verified evidence that The Big Guy is corrupt.

"Looks out of control". No, it is out of control. But could it get worse? Well, duh. Hell yes, and it will.

Biden and the Democrats are giddy with pleasure over how things turned and are turning out. We are a weaker nation economically, militarily and socially with daily disruptions of social comity the norm and anything else the deviation. Next up, theft of elections more pronounced and referred to openly by the 'winners.' Biden made a comment about that recently not covered, unsurprisingly, by the MSM.

"the president seems utterly incapable of fixing what’s wrong"
No. Brandon seems utterly incapable of UNDERSTANDING what's wrong. His response to criticism is denial and senior dementia anger.
It's not that dems, in general, haven't been lying about what they have been doing for decades. BO was a master at it. The difference is, the addlepated Brandon turned things over to the insane progressives and drove us to the worst situation in 50+ years. His babbling incoherence against that background, plus the general incompetence of his staff spotlights how awful he is. Neither the dem party or propaganda media can explain his mess away.
Nor do I have any sympathy for Joe. He had no business running for president. The party and media and his wife MUST have known his real status and still foisted him upon us.

Have people forgotten the Carter years? The Iranian hostage crisis, 15% mortgage rates, rampant inflation, the misery index (inflation rate plus unemployment rate), Carter's "malaise" speech. It can get a lot worse, and likely will.

"No Illegal act" herein lies the biggest problem with impeachment as the founders framed it. The founding fathers never wanted or expected a two party (or any number of parties for that matter) system to develop. They imagined an electorate that was more fluid and that individuals would make intelligent voting choices based on the issues at hand and the individuals positions on them. They NEVER intended for the national horsetrading legislative circus we now have.
So here is the party problem. Whoever controls the house controls the Impeachment process. That means no matter how corrupt or criminal the President is, if he is in the same party as the House majority he is practically immune to impeachment. And as we have seen in the last four years if the President is in the opposing party to the house majority he is at risk for impeachment over immaterial, minor or imaginary "High crimes and misdemeanors". The 25th amendment has the same failing, the party of the President (actually the carrer politicians handpicked by the President) iare the ones that must decide to bring the charge.
But the issue is even deeper. Because it is the house that must prosecute the President, it is the House that must also investigate the president. And as we have seen over the last decades every investigation has become a political farce. The investigating agencies have become overwhelmingy partisan, No D pol can do bad things and every R Pol is guilty until proven innocent, and they are responsible for gathering that proof themselves at their own expense because the DOJ has no interest in anything past the allegation. And more importantly No House majority is ever going to even consider initiating an investigation against their own party. They will also ignore any results from an investigation (which if from the Rs, the DOJ etc will actively hinder anyway) initiated by the opposing party if the opposing partyt holds the Senate. In a situation like todays complete control by the Ds the President could commit murder in the Rose Garden and most likeley skate, with his reputation intact, scandal free.
Even then it is left to the partisan investigating agency to decide if they even care to listen. Usually they don't. They simply smear political enemies for two years, make terrible allegations, catch a few on trifling process charges and quit. Look at all of the prosecutions of the last decades they are almost all for lying inder oath and those lies often account to "well you had nothing to do with the bank robbery in Manhattan but you said you were in LA that day and we have determined that you were in fact in Burbank."
If the Party in power refuses to investigate they get to claim "Scandal Free" whenever they want. With our current partisan Press and Partisan DOJ, and every other deep state body there is absolutely 0 chance any Dem ever gets prosecuted for anything. We have seen it over and over again.

I don't know if anyone remembers the old "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" show. But on one episode Mary's mother consoles her with these wise words, "Nothing is so bad that it can't get worse." My Dad roared with laughter and adopted it as a life's motto and I have too. God help us, it has come to pass again.

"Out of control" suggests frenzied, unfocused, and counterproductive activity from the administration.
What I'm seeing is lethargy. This administration is on autopilot.
