Senate Democrats want to pass a $500 billion package that would include major reforms to health care, climate change, and taxes, according to a report.
NBC News reported that Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who was primarily responsible for tanking the Build Back Better Act, continues to hold talks with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on a reconciliation package that would spend $500 billion and raise $1 trillion in revenue.
The package would primarily focus on health care, energy, and taxes. One source told NBC News that the “ceiling” for climate change funding would be capped at $300 billion, making it a significant fixture of the package.

Spending our money to Democrats is like cocaine or heroine to a drug addiction. They just can't stop and need their next fix to survive. Their addiction will eventually destroy them, but not until they lose everything and bankrupt us. Unfortunately, what they are destroying is our country and not just themselves.

#3, one of the best descriptions I’ve seen in a while about the Dems’ (Communists’) addiction to spending.
I imagine an ad with Dems, sitting at a darkened kitchen table, snorting shredded money through a straw.

Wonder what they are planning to do to health care. When I retired from nursing last year, patient loads were getting higher and higher. People who had Obamacare had such large deductibles that they would put off coming in until often it was too late. We were a specialty group and they would say they just couldn’t afford the MRI, CT scan and/or tests from the referring doctor. Thank you democrats. May you reap what you sow.

The country is experiencing death by democrat hubris and Republican apathy. The hard part is being a witness to it all. Our government leaders have failed us in their insatiable lust for money and power. It did not have to be this way if we had men and women of honor, wisdom and integrity in positions of power who went to Washington DC to serve their constituents. Instead we have far too many liars and cheats whose only concern is their own self-interest.

When you have 10% inflation the answer is to print more money on paper and hand it out.

“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, that's what I’m telling you.”

don't want to deflate the demcommies Hindenburg but the longer they hang on to comrade obama and his anti-American and anti-American growth programs, the less chance they have of ever becoming a viable political entity in the United States, it's being played out as we speak and the demcommie party will evolve into a gaggle of squeaking, squalling and screeching hobgoblins who, habitually only show up in the dead of night to haunt our very existence -

The Washington cash spreading machine won't quit despite our inflation caused by three years of gross overspending. Like that young lady and the French lieutenant, we should know who these UNIPARTY soldiers are, now we're just dickering on the price. What's a half TRILLION more, anyways? It's only pretend money.

I hope the WV GOP is working on a good candidate vs Manchin in 2024. He nearly got beat in 2018 and still is not a reliable vote to halt the Biden/Dem juggernault of control. Yeah, he'll help out in awhile, occasionally vote for a SCOTUS judge appointed by Trump or block some Biden big spender bills or changing the filibuster rules, but he will go back on the Democrat plantation when he has to.
For example, I would have a lot more respect for him if he had voted NO on either of the impeachment resolutions.

#5, THAT would make a GREAT republican ad campaign!!!
Or, do you remember the raw egg/fried egg commercial against drug use?
This is the brain of a healthy, compassionate, fiscally responsible republican, this is the brain of an overspending, power hungry democrat...

Once they allocate money, it's always "a good down payment" as it never ends, which is what Democrats count on.
That $1 trillion in new revenues? Doubtful it ever materializes like usual, as it's from "savings" on other programs.
Democrats will then campaign on the "we had to take what we could get, but if you put us back in charge, we'll get the whole enchilada next Congress".
