Woke corporations wasted no time in the aftermath of the Roe v. Wade overturn, with many of them quickly issuing statements describing their outrage and promising to pay for employees to travel to other states to get abortions should their own state prohibit them. The Walt Disney Co, which can’t seem to get out of its own way recently, is one of those companies. A Florida Disney employee is speaking out, though, telling the NY Post on Saturday that his company’s stance will be “be bad for business” and will “alienate” customers. Businessman Joe O’Dea beat state Rep. Ron Hanks for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. O’Dea will face Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet this fall.
O’Dea thanked his supporters, calling Tuesday “not such a good night to be a Democratic super PAC.” Hanks was buoyed with an ad buy from a left-wing super PAC that touted Hanks’ conservative credentials. Mailers were also sent to Republican voters before the primary boosting Hanks, but did not include information required by the FEC on who was paying for and distributing the flier.

Police near San Antonio report that 47 migrants are dead and at least 18 others were transported to local hospitals after being locked inside a tractor-trailer. Officials found the tractor-trailer on the southwest side of San Antonio on a back road near Interstate 35. Police say the driver may have been involved in a human smuggling incident.

This comes, per the outlet, amid an “escalating recruiting crisis.”
On Thursday, the service announced that individuals may enlist without those previously required education certifications if they ship to basic training this fiscal year, which ends Oct. 1.
