In a virtual Axios event on Thursday, Gina McCarthy, Joe Biden’s top climate official, urged tech companies to suppress truthful information about climate issues: “The tech companies have to stop allowing specific individuals over and over again to spread disinformation,” she told Axios’ Alexi McCammond at a virtual event that aired Thursday. “We need the tech companies to really jump in,” McCarthy said. “Really jump in” means to ban, suspend, delete and censor views on climate issues different from those of the Biden administration’s extremists, like McCarthy. McCarthy said that overall, the problem of disinformation has shifted from disputing the reality of climate change… No one has disputed the “reality of climate change.”

In the recent past, California and Texas have suffered blackouts due to inadequate electricity supply. This year, as the summer heats up, it is the midwestern states served by the Midcontinent Independent Systems Operator (MISO) that are most likely to see their lights go out. Energy expert Isaac Orr explains:
"According to [the North American Electric Reliability Corporation], much of the country is at an elevated risk of not having enough electricity to meet peak demand, plus the margin of safety, this summer, but none are at higher risk than MISO." Why are blackouts suddenly occurring after many decades of reliable energy? Because of profiteering by “green” energy hucksters.

Another day, another tragic example of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón’s failures.
On Tuesday night, two El Monte Police officers were gunned down while responding to a possible stabbing at a motel.
On Wednesday, city and county coroner’s officials identified the officers as Corporal Michael Domingo Paredes and Officer Joseph Anthony Santana.
Both men “were raised in the city of El Monte and had a strong connection to the community they served,” city officials said in a statement posted to Instagram with photos of the two men. […]
The officers had responded to the Siesta Inn on Garvey Avenue, but were immediately taken under gunfire, officials said.

Fauci tested positive on a rapid antigen test and was “experiencing mild symptoms,” the National Institutes of Health said in a statement.
