The latest economic report is “brutal” and follows a series of missteps from the Biden administration and Democrats who are in total control in Washington, DC, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Friday ahead of signing a bill caring for retired police dogs. “I think it’s sad to see some of the economic numbers with Bidenflation coming out — 8.6 percent. They tried to say — first, they said it wasn’t going to happen, was transitory and it would basically kind of solve itself,” DeSantis said at the start of the press conference in Bunnell, Florida.

On Saturday 31 members of the Patriot Front group, were arrested in Idaho on the way to a protest.
All 31 were charged with conspiracy to riot, a misdemeanor.
They were traveling to a gay pride event with shields in the back of a Uhaul.
Members of the group were dressed similarly in khaki pants and blue shirts and were wearing hats with plastic inside them, according to the chief and video from the scene of the arrest. The men were also equipped with “shields, shin guards and other riot gear,” along with papers.
Nearly half of the 1.6 million Americans who identify as transgender are teenagers or young adults, and some of the highest rates of youth transgenderism occur in blue states, according to a new study.
The study, conducted by the University of California Los Angeles Williams Institute, found that transgenderism rates varied between states, with New York seeing a 3% rate among youth compared to roughly 0.6% in Wyoming.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an overnight shooting after a man was found dead near a Detroit home.
The discovery was made around 4:35 a.m. Tuesday in the 16500 block of Salem Street, according to authorities.
Officers said a man was found dead near a home in the area. His age is unknown.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) made a unanimous consent request on the House floor to bring up S. 4160 for a vote. S. 4160, which passed the Senate by a unanimous vote, would have allocated additional security for the justices’ family members.
Despite McCarthy’s request, Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats failed to comply with McCarthy’s proposal to bring the bill to vote.

Hogg suggested that a common response to school shootings is to put more police in schools.
